Grammy-winning singer Lizzo is opening up about the lifestyle changes behind her recent weight loss, including shifting away from veganism and rejecting popular weight-loss medications like Ozempic. In an interview with Women's Health, the 37-year-old artist shared her decision to adopt a high-protein, low-carb diet as part of her ongoing health transformation.
Lizzo revealed that she now begins her day with scrambled eggs, chicken sausage, and a cauliflower hash brown. Her lunch and dinner routines include meals such as shredded Thai chicken salad, turkey meatloaf with cauliflower mash, and green beans. To manage her GERD, Lizzo finishes her final meal by 5 p.m., giving her body ample time to digest before sleep.
NEW: Lizzo says she is eating a high-protein, low-carb diet to lose weight, says she has *not* been on Ozempic, according to Women's Health.

Her snacks have also changed, now consisting of low-sugar Greek yogurt with berries and honey, and she's swapped her former Frappuccinos for coffee blended with vanilla protein powder. Despite her stricter eating habits, Lizzo maintains balance by occasionally indulging in favorites like chicken tenders with waffles or coconut cream donuts.
The About Damn Time singer admitted that while she previously followed a vegan diet, she often relied on processed foods and consumed up to 5,000 calories daily. She has since worked to build a healthier relationship with food, overcoming past struggles with disordered eating and emotional snacking.
Addressing public speculation, Lizzo confirmed she tried Ozempic but chose not to continue with it. 'If I did all this with Ozempic or surgery, I'd still be proud — because this is hard,' she said. Today, she emphasizes mindful eating and self-discipline as key components of her progress.
Lizzo's transformation not only reflects physical progress, but also sends a message of resilience, balance, and self-acceptance — guided by a renewed mindset and support from a personal trainer.

Gracie Abrams just soft-launched her relationship with Paul Mescal

Gracie Abrams has fans buzzing after posting a cosy photo with actor Paul Mescal following their time together at the Glastonbury Festival. On July 2, the 25-year-old singer shared a carousel of photos from the iconic U.K. music festival, which ran from June 25 to 29. The Instagram post featured candid snaps of her friends, family including her father, J.J. Abrams and a string of sweet festival moments. But the highlight? A laid-back shot of her lying beside the Normal People actor, 29, on what looked like a picnic blanket. Gracie, in a rose-coloured top and bandana, looked relaxed as she lounged next to Mescal. Another clip showed her perched on his shoulders, belting out The Cure's 'Friday I'm In Love' during Olivia Rodrigo and Robert Smith's surprise performance, a moment that only added fuel to the dating speculation. The Grammy-nominated artist also posted a group selfie that included Mescal, as well as images of her with Lorde and a video of Paul McCartney enjoying her Glastonbury debut performance of 'That's So True.' '❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️,' she simply captioned the post, leaving fans to read between the lines. Abrams performed a well-received set at the festival, singing hits like 'Close to You,' 'That's So True,' and 'I Love You, I'm Sorry,' along with a crowd-pleasing cover of 'Just Like Heaven.' She and Mescal were first linked in June 2024, when they were spotted out together in London. These new photos suggest the connection is still going strong and fans are here for it.

Neil Druckmann exits HBO's ‘The Last of Us' series to focus on new game project

Neil Druckmann, co-creator of HBO's The Last of Us, has announced his departure from the acclaimed television series. In a statement shared via Naughty Dog's official Instagram, Druckmann said he is stepping away from his creative role on the show to focus fully on upcoming projects at the studio, including directing and writing a new game titled Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet. 'With work completed on Season 2 and before any meaningful work starts on Season 3, now is the right time for me to transition my complete focus to Naughty Dog,' Druckmann said. He added that co-creating the HBO adaptation has been a career highlight, praising collaborator Craig Mazin and the entire cast and crew for their dedication to faithfully adapting the beloved video game franchise. Druckmann played a central role in the development of The Last of Us video games at Naughty Dog before co-creating the television adaptation with Mazin, known for his Emmy-winning series Chernobyl. Since its debut in 2023, the show has received widespread acclaim and earned 24 Primetime Emmy nominations. Season 2 aired earlier this year, and HBO confirmed a third season in April. Druckmann will retain an executive producer credit. Mazin praised Druckmann's vision and partnership in a separate statement, saying, 'It's been a creative dream to work with Neil and bring his brilliant work to life on HBO. I'm beyond excited to play his next game.' Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet was first announced in December, with Tati Gabrielle set to star and music by Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross. No release date has been confirmed. Though stepping back from the series, Druckmann's creative legacy will continue to shape The Last of Us as it moves forward.
