FanSided's Rucker Haringey recently urged the New York Yankees to avoid making a trade for star Pittsburgh Pirates outfielder Bryan Reynolds ahead of the trade deadline this year.
"The Yankees are not being connected with trades to outfielders at the moment but Bryan Reynolds is a player who they've coveted in the past," Haringey wrote. "The Pirates are nowhere near playoff contention this season and seem to finally be open to moving the speedy outfielder.

There's no guarantee he'll even be an average player again as he enters his 30s. There might be a time willing to gamble on Reynolds returning to his All-Star ways but the Yankees should not be the team to take that risk."

Reynolds is also struggling, which makes him that much less enticing for the Yankees to pursue. To make a trade even worse, Reynolds is attached to a massive contract.
A trade would make no sense for the Yankees. There's no reason to chase an outfielder. It's so far off that it shouldn't even be a talking point this year. The Yankees will likely pursue an infielder and a few pitchers ahead of the deadline instead of an aging, expensive outfielder.
