The Valley 's Janet Caperna Details Working for Cameron Diaz
Janet Caperna is giving the merlot-down on working for Cameron Diaz.
The Valley star recently revealed that she was an assistant at the actress' wine company prior to her own rise to reality TV fame.
'I worked for Avaline, which is Cameron Diaz and Katherine Power's wine brand,' Janet said on the May 29 episode of the Virtual Reali-Tea podcast. "That was a job I loved."
She added, "I still am obsessed with the wine."
During her time as a Hollywood assistant, she even met Zack Wickham, who worked as Nicole Scherzinger's assistant and later became her costar on The Valley.
As Janet put it, "The assistants are kind of a small group in L.A."
But despite their shared jobs as assistants, the pair hasn't always meshed. Still, Janet shared that she hopes to end their conflict, which has been a point of focus on the Bravo show since the series' early days last spring.
"Zach and I, we've been stuck with these same sort of issues for a while, but I do want to get to a place of peace with him," she told co-hosts Danny Murphy and Evan Real. "I think he's hilarious."
While the followup to Vanderpump Rules follows longtime reality stars like Brittany Cartwright and Jax Taylor, Janet is new to the scene. And her road to get there has been less than typical, as it all started after she boldly approached Scheana Shay back in her assistant days.

'I went up to her and was like, 'You're Scheana from Vanderpump, let's take a picture.' We ended up spending the entire day talking,' she explained on the May 29 episode of The Viall Files podcast. 'We talked about what it's like getting divorced in your 20s, which both of us had done [and] starting over.'
Janet acknowledged that while their connection may have been unusual, she's not afraid to be honest.
'Sure, it's odd to start a friendship as a fan and somebody who's on reality TV, but I never felt embarrassed to be a Bravo fan," she added. "That's the truth of how we met."

‘Vanderpump Rules' Season 12 Teaser Pokes Fun at Cast Shake-Up: ‘Help Wanted'
"The faces may have changed, but my rules? They've stayed the same," Lisa Vanderpump says in a new Bravo clip In the wake of the cross-season drama dubbed Scandoval, 'Vanderpump Rules' overhauled its cast of characters around SUR owner Lisa Vanderpump going into Season 12. Bravo released a brief teaser for the upcoming season on Friday, poking fun at what came before to hint at what's coming next. The 15-second clip shows Lisa Vanderpump putting up a 'Help Wanted' sign on the door of her sexy, unique restaurant before looking at the camera and winking. A text card then states, 'It's time for a shift.' More from TheWrap 'Vanderpump Rules' Season 12 Teaser Pokes Fun at Cast Shake-Up: 'Help Wanted' The 8 Best New Shows Streaming on Netflix Right Now 'Gen V' Season 2 Trailer Shows Starlight Coming to Save the Day | Video 'King of the Hill' Season 14 Review: Hulu's Comforting Revival Avoids the Politics at Its Core 'The faces may have changed, but my rules? They've stayed the same,' Vanderpump says in the clip. You can watch the teaser for yourself, below. In November 2024, it was announced that Bravo's hit reality show 'Vanderpump Rules' was in for a total overhaul. Following two seasons of Scandoval, the show sought to build a new cast from the ground up around the former 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' star. The reboot will also include a retrospective special looking back at the first 11 seasons of the show. 'The last 12 years of filming have been an extraordinary run full of laughter, tears and everything in between,' Vanderpump said in a statement at the time. 'I can't thank enough those who have shared their lives. How I love you all. In the restaurant business, one shift always gives way to another. Cheers to the next generation of 'Vanderpump Rules.'' 'VPR's' big debacle began in the show's 10th season. At the time, Tom Sandoval allegedly cheated on his longtime girlfriend (and co-star) Ariana Madix — with her then-best friend, Raquel Leviss. Leviss herself, meanwhile, is the ex-fiancée of James Kennedy, who, you guessed it, was yet another cast member. You can see why they needed to reboot. The Scandoval drama continued into the show's 11th season, where Sandoval, Madix and Kennedy all returned. Leviss, on the other hand, did not. The scandal was big enough that it broke containment from the show itself, becoming a popular topic in tabloids and online circles. Since the news of the overhaul, Sandoval has been making appearances on other reality programs, such as 'The Traitors' and 'America's Got Talent,' while Madix is now the host of 'Love Island USA.' A release date for 'Vanderpump Rules' Season 12 has not been set. The post 'Vanderpump Rules' Season 12 Teaser Pokes Fun at Cast Shake-Up: 'Help Wanted' appeared first on TheWrap.

Brittany Cartwright Accuses Jax Taylor of Drinking After Rehab As Custody Battle Explodes on The Valley
On Tuesday's all-new The Valley, tensions between the former couple once again came to a head when Taylor and Cartwright attempted to establish some "boundaries" as they navigate their new normal. Things between Brittany Cartwright and Jax Taylor keep going from worse to worse. On Tuesday's all-new The Valley, tensions between the former couple once again came to a head when Taylor visited Cartwright at her rental property to establish some "boundaries" as they navigate their new normal. But things didn't go exactly as planned, with the sit down quickly turning into a shouting match as Cartwright accused her estranged husband of drinking just days after he spent a month in a rehab facility -- where he was supposed to detox from drugs and alcohol and work on his mental health. "I think after Jax got out of the facility, it took him less than five days to go back to the bars and start partying again," Brittany said in a confessional. "It's just so disappointing, like, he did not take anything seriously." Cartwright -- who accused Taylor of having others cover for him by telling them the drinks he was seen enjoying at his bar, Jax's, were just "water" -- said she felt the need to protect her ex because she didn't want him to "get in trouble." "If he's not saying it, how am I supposed to be the one saying it?" Cartwright questioned. "I tried, and at least I know that. I really loved that man and I really tried to make him a better person. Like, how do you continue to be there for somebody who will not even change for you and your son?" Cartwright also set some boundaries of her own, specifically where the couple's 4-year-old son, Cruz, is involved, sparking a custody battle between the pair amid their recently filed divorce. "Cruz is not going over to your house anytime soon," the reality star stressed. "He's not. Because I don't trust that there aren't nasty women there, parties ... it disgusts me." "You're so gross," Cartwright added. The comment prompted Taylor to walk off, telling viewers in a confessional that despite what Cartwright thinks, he's "trying" to be a dad to their son. "I'm here to be a dad, and I'm good at it and I enjoy it, and it makes me happy," Taylor told the cameras. "He's actually medicine for me. He actually makes me want to be a better person, and I don't think she should hold her anger over me, using that as a weapon not to see my son. That's just not fair." In addition to criticizing Taylor as a father, Cartwright labeled her former husband a "narcissist," claiming he doesn't feel "love," "pain" or "hurt." "We are different people. I'm going through a lot more than what you're going through right now, because I actually care," Cartwright said through tears. "You don't see me," Taylor fired back. "You don't see what I'm going through at home. You don't see what I'm dealing with at my house. It's 10 years of my life. It's a decade. You could throw that away, but I can't." While Cartwright said she's done anything but, listing her attempts at getting Taylor help before his rehab stint last year, he reiterated that he's doing it now, and asked her to see the good in that. "Now is too late. You've already ruined our family," Cartwright yelled before once again making it clear where they stand on Cruz. "I will handle everything and I will send you a bill for your half of all the doctor bills." "OK, then you don't get full custody," Taylor replied. "No, I'm getting fully custody," Cartwright insisted. "That's gonna be your child support, is you're gonna be paying me for half of Cruz's stuff," Cartwright maintained. "Well, you make more. So then I'll go after your alimony," Taylor threatened. "Half of his medical bills is all I want. That's not acting too much," Cartwright continued. The conversation turned into an argument over child support as Taylor became enraged, reminding his estranged wife that California is a 50/50 state, meaning a "state that follows a community property regime, where marital assets and debts are typically divided equally (50/50) between both spouses." "So you're going to go after alimony from me and I'm gonna have to pay for all of Cruz's bills?" Cartwright asked, prompting Taylor to say she's trying to "destroy" the father of her son. "Every time I come over here, you act so mean to me, you discard me," Taylor claimed. "I cannot let Cruz be anything like you," Cartwright insisted. "And you should feel the same way." While Taylor was hopeful the pair could be amicable as they head for divorce, it looks like they're able to be anything but, as Cartwright said he no longer deserves her friendship. "I love my kid more than anything and I'm fighting for him, but I don't know how much more of this arguing and this bickering and just going after each other I can take," Taylor said in a confessional. The back-and-forth ended with Cartwright in tears and Taylor leaving in a huff, but even with their massive differences, the Kentucky native said "no one" wants to see Taylor get better more than she does. "I want to say I have hope for him, but he's let me down again and again and again for years," Cartwright told the cameras. "I don't have any faith or trust in him anymore, that's gone." See it all go down on The Valley, airing Tuesdays at 8:00 p.m. ET on Bravo.

'Vanderpump Rules 'Teases First Glimpse into New Season After Casting Shakeup: 'Help Wanted'
Bravo first announced 'Vanderpump Rules' was being rebooted for season 12 — with a new cast joining Lisa Vanderpump — in November Vanderpump Rules is getting ready to raise the bar! On July 25, Bravo released a teaser on X for the upcoming 12th season, eight months after they announced they were rebooting the series. In the clip, Lisa Vanderpump is seen hanging up a "Help Wanted" sign at SUR as she says in a voiceover, "The faces may have changed... but my rules, they've stayed the same." The video then transitions to show the phrase, 'It's time for a shift.' While no release date has been confirmed, the clip also teases the new season will be 'coming soon.' 'New shift. Same rules. #PumpRules Season 12 shakes things up soon,' the caption reads. The teaser comes after Bravo confirmed in November that a new cast would be joining SUR and TomTom owner Vanderpump, 64, for season 12. The new cast includes a 'close-knit SUR-vers who are as complicatedly involved with one another as their iconic predecessors,' the network announced in a press release at the time. However, no names have been announced. 'The last 12 years of filming have been an extraordinary run full of laughter, tears and everything in between,' Vanderpump said in the release. 'I can't thank enough those who have shared their lives. How I love you all. In the restaurant business, one shift always gives way to another. Cheers to the next generation of Vanderpump Rules.' Alex Baskin, executive producer of the show's production company 32 Flavors, added: 'What a thrill it is to build on the legacy of this series by doing it all over again. With profound appreciation for the original group and their iconic run, we can't wait for the audience to see a dynamic new group of co-workers and friends make their way through life together." Vanderpump Rules premiered in 2013 with stars Kristen Doute, Scheana Shay, Jax Taylor Tom Schwartz, Katie Maloney, Tom Sandoval, Stassi Schroeder, Peter Madrigal, Mike Shay, Laura-Leigh, Frank Herlihy and Ariana Madix. Over the years, cast members have come and gone, with others like Brittany Cartwright, Lala Kent and Rachel Leviss joining the series. After the reboot was announced, a source close to the situation told PEOPLE that the legacy cast learned about the decision one day prior to the news going public. 'They're understandably upset that it's all coming to an end, but no one was necessarily surprised,' the insider said at the time. 'It's more relief that they finally have an answer.' Since 'there were so many fractions' among the cast following the season 11 reunion, the source revealed that Bravo felt they needed to move on with a new group. 'There had been a long pause in production, and nothing had really changed among the cast since the reunion,' the source added. 'Everyone was still stuck in their feelings and refusing to bend. The network felt there was no path forward with the group in that capacity.' A second source noted that money did not play a factor in Bravo's decision to start fresh, noting that the network opted for a reboot before discussions of salaries even began with the former cast members. "It was completely driven by creative," the insider explained. "There weren't any negotiations happening between the cast and the network where money was even discussed."
