The technical blunder saw Phil unable to hear Ben as he instead continued preparing the dish he was working.
Cat laughed as she quipped: "He could be just ignoring us", while Ben remarked: "Oh, dear."
Looking for a solution, Ben asked out loud: "Has anyone got a phone? Someone phone him. Can the cameraman hear us?"
He added: "So, nobody can hear us at the moment. This is quite fun, we can just watch them and see what they get up to."

'I've been here for six years now and I've just signed for another year. It's a lovely place to work. I feel very blessed.' The star's character Bernie is set to marry Dev Alahan next week in a huge soap wedding - but typically things go horrifically wrong. Cat Deeley's wedding ring confession before Patrick Kielty marriage split

This Morning host Cat Deeley once admitted that her wedding ring wasn't brand new when she wed RTÉ One's The Late Late Show presenter, Patrick Kielty. The special piece carries deep sentimental value, tracing its history back to the 1940s. During an appearance on the Outspoken Beauty podcast, the 48-year-old opened up about various aspects of her life, from motherhood and beauty tips, to her professional journey. When discussing confidence, presenter Nicola Bonn remarked to Cat: "I think a lot of people would say you are a traditional beauty, but I like that, I love imperfections as well. "Like, my wedding ring is bent now and it's got a little diamond missing but I'm like, no, that's like marriage, marriage is a bit bent." Patrick Kielty and Cat Deeley share two sons Cat responded in agreement: "Exactly." Cat, who presents the This Morning alongside Ben Shephard, then revealed more about her treasured wedding band. She disclosed in 2020: "My wedding ring is actually my nan's wedding ring. And it says, I think, 'Lil and Jim 1942' in it. "I think my grandad got it from under the counter because there was no gold because it was after the war, so very similar." The television personality and 54-year-old Patrick tied the knot during a private ceremony in Rome in 2012, surrounded by their nearest and dearest. The couple are parents to two boys, Milo, nine, and James, six, whom they shield from media attention. In a joint statement, they said via a spokesperson: "We have taken the decision to end our marriage and are now separated. There is no other party involved. "We will continue to be united as loving parents to our children and would therefore kindly ask for our family privacy to be respected. There will be no further comment." Since the announcement, both presenters have kept quiet on their respective social media accounts. Cat will also steer clear of appearing on-screen as the news becomes public knowledge, owing to her planned break from ITV during the summer period. Patrick's most recent public tribute to his wife dates back to 2024 when she stepped in for Holly Willoughby on the programme. Cat Deeley took over from Holly Willoughby on This Morning Sharing a collection of her photos on Instagram, he penned: "I didn't know what a morning person actually was until I met this woman. "She gets up every day with a smile on her face. [At] 5.30am, whistling in the shower, smile on her face. "Then downs two coffees, and gives you the look. The 'What the f**k's wrong with you, let's do this'." He continued: "It's not a pretend smile. And it's not just some mornings. It's every morning. Which is b****y difficult cos she's married to me. "I should also mention she likes a chat. To anyone. About anything. Anywhere. If there's anyone in the world made for a show called @thismorning, it's this human." Patrick ended his post by wishing his wife success in her new role, humorously adding: "Strap yourself in @benshephardofficial. And welcome to my world. We couldn't be prouder of you @catdeeley Go get 'em mama!".

Former Love Island star shows off incredible transformation of old chapel into new home

A former Love Island star has shown off the incredible transformation of a chapel he bought, which he worked hard at making into an incredible home. Luke Mabbott, who participated in the 2020 winter season of Love Island, bought the 150-year old chapel in Cornwall with his family — and then spending over 18 months breathing new life into the home. Taking to social media, Luke showed off the chapel back when it was, well, a chapel, before sharing what it looks like now — a truly incredible living space incorporating a ground floor living area and kitchen, with stairs leading up to the added-on first floor. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Luke mabbott (@lukemabbott) While some would think that a historical building undergoing a renovation would mean that some of the chapel's original features could be lost, Luke and his family managed to keep the stunning wooden beams and the chapel's original shape on the roof. Taking to his Instagram, Luke wrote that the chapel went 'from tired to timeless' and they added that the home is now going to go on the market. 'After 18 months of hard work, long nights, and muddy boots, my family and I have brought this 150-year-old chapel in Cornwall back to life,' Luke wrote. 'It's been an honour getting stuck in and restoring a true piece of history.' Luke transformed the home into something truly special, including a marvellous eight metre high open plan living area. Pic: Luke Mabbott/Instagram 'We've respected the past while breathing in the future, every detail, every fitting, every finish has been done with care and craftsmanship. This place deserved nothing less. Now, it's ready to stand strong for another 150 years.' Luke's friends were impressed by the truly stunning transformation, with fellow Love Island alum Dami Hope commenting 'Insaneeeee brooo.' 'Forever proud of you, this is MAD MOVES,' another commented, while another added 'amazing work! Well done guys. I'm honoured to have worked just a tiny bit on your property. Your hard work thoroughly paid off!' Luke was in the sixth season of Love Island in 2020. Pic: ITV Luke joined the 2020 winter season of Love Island as a bombshell on day 12, coupling up with Jess initially before coupling up with Natalia, and then coupling up with Demi — where they finished third. The then heating engineer owns Brotherhood Properties, and has renovated homes previously including his own in Cornwall.
