Jack Osbourne reveals adorable moment Ozzy's granddaughter realises his fame

Jack Osbourne shared a sweet moment with his daughter Maple as they watched Ozzy Osbourne perform on screen years before the Prince of Darkness' death
Jack Osbourne captured the adorable moment his daughter Maple realised her granddad was a hugely famous musician. Following the sad news of Ozzy Osbourne's death on Tuesday at the age of 76, a resurfaced clip from 2023 showed the loving bond he had with his granddaughter.

While Jack, 39, often shared clips of his kids, including them with Ozzy at their home, it was a video of Maple watching her " Papa" perform that really pulls at the heartstrings. Jack is sitting on a settee in the clip, while his toddler daughter is excitedly standing, with the help of a table.

The duo are watching footage of Ozzy performing on stage and while Jack has a wry smile on his face, his daughter is a lot more vocal in her glee. The excited tot keeps shouting "papa" at the screen while beaming with joy. She then points towards the clip as she continue to smile and shout.

And further clips showed how the bond has continued to blossom between the pair as Jack showed Maple enjoying her papa's final ever show under three weeks ago. "It never gets old. Still mesmerized by grand-dad," Jack gushed as he shared a clip of his kids enjoying Ozzy's performance on stage at Villa Park.
While Jack shares Maple with current wife Aree Gearhart, he also has three daughters — Pearl, Andy and Minnie — with his ex-wife Lisa Stelly. The trio were also seen in his recent clip enjoying the tunes of Ozzy.

Just before his death, Jack gushed over his 'loving' father amid his many health woes. He proudly spoke about his dad's life and career just two weeks ago, describing Ozzy as 'funny and unique'.
Ozzy's son Jack had been at a screening of a new Ozzy Osbourne documentary, 'The Nine Lives Of Ozzy Osbourne', in Birmingham on July 4, the day before the Back To The Beginning concert.

Speaking at the Millennium Point Centre in Birmingham, Jack said: 'What are my three words to describe my dad? I would say funny, unique and powerful. He is an incredible man. He really is. His contribution to music is bigger than his faults. This whole weekend has been emotional.'
Jack also revealed his dad's planned biopic; the production will be even more eagerly awaited by fans now. He said: 'We do have the film on the way.
"We have a lot of good forward momentum on the Ozzy biopic. We have a director attached now and the script is done and Sony Studios is going to be producing it.

'We are really excited about it so maybe we will do the premiere here in Birmingham. It is about to go through a script rewrite. It's going to be raw. We are not pulling any punches, we are really laying it all out. The director we have is absolutely phenomenal.
'I can't say who he is but we are very lucky to have him and he is a die hard fan. I have the smiley knee tattoos that my dad has and he (our director) has them too. The film is in good hands. If the evil overlords of Hollywood give us the green light we could be filming in the spring so maybe it will be out summer 2027 fingers crossed.'

She took to Instagram to share snaps of the special day, writing the caption: "a gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous day celebrating Hanni & Jack." Her followers got a glimpse of the stunning table and ceremony setup and decor inside the grand gothic cathedral, along with the bus that guests travelled on. Despite a cloudy day, the pair pulled out all the stops. A total of 150 white padded seats were laid out on the flagstones while staff worked hard to instal a detailed floral altar. After their nuptials at the cathedral, they headed the short distance to The Lowry hotel in Salford for the wedding breakfast and reception. Lucy also posed for a photo with her on-screen mum, Tina O'Brien, who looked stunning in a plunging blue floral dress. Tina put on a loved-up display with her new man as she left the wedding. She brought her new boyfriend, interior designer Adam Fadlé, to the star-studded bash and the pair couldn't keep their hands off each other. The couple embraced and kissed before the actress looked up lovingly at her boyfriend while holding his arm. The pair were understood to have met through friends in Cheshire where they both live. Tina, 41, who has played Sarah Platt on the ITV soap in two stints over 26 years, split with 40-year-old Adam No1 in March. The pair, who were married for six years, share son Beau together. Real-life soap couples Soaps are renowned for their sweet and scandalous romances – but it's not just in scripted storylines where love is blossoming. A number of our favourite small-screen actors have fallen for co-stars and soapland rivals when the cameras have stopped rolling. Max Parker and Kris Mochrie Despite playing brothers Luke and Lee Posner on Emmerdale, the pair never actually shared any scenes together. But the pair still fell in love after meeting on set. Max and Kris got together in 2020, moving in together later than same year and got engaged in 2022. In a sweet Instagram post, the couple confirmed they're planning a 2025 wedding. Beth Cordingly and Ian Kelsey Beth, who plays Ruby Fox-Miligan, announced her love for her co-star Ian Kelsey, who played Dean Glover, shortly after she joined Emmerdale at the beginning of 2024. 'I am very in love with Ian and very happy. I think it really does work him being an actor too. He has been so fantastic," she gushed. Laura Norton and Mark Jordan Kerry Wyatt and Daz Eden actors Laura and Mark met on the set of Emmerdale in 2014. The couple, who got engaged in 2018, told Loose Women they spent a long time deciding whether they should "just stay as friends." Although it seems they were meant to be and the pair now share two children together. Zoe Henry and Jeff Hordley Emmerdale favourites Zoe and Jeff, who play Rhonda Goskirk and Cain Dingle met at drama college in 1994 and have been together ever since. While working together might be too much for some couples, that's definitely not the case for Zoe and Jeff. Zoe previously told The Sun: "Working on the same show as Jeff also helps because if one of us is having a bad day then the other will completely understand." Lesley Dunlop and Chris Chittell Lesley and Chris are another Dales romantic success story. Unlike some of the other soap stars, the pair who play Brenda Walker and Eric Pollard, are together on and off screen, officially tying the knot in 2016. They also adore working together, but have clear home-work boundaries. "We make a point of not talking about Emmerdale when we're at home, though – that would be just too sad, wouldn't it?" Chris revealed. Sally Carman and Joe Duttine Abi Franklin and Tim Metcalfe actors Sally and Joe got together after meeting on the set of Coronation Street in 2017 and they tied the knot in July 2022. But unlike some of the Emmerdale stars, Sally and Joe prefer that their characters don't interact much. Sally previously admitted it "would be horrendous" to work on a storyline with Joe because "he's too funny." Anthony Cotton and Peter Eccleston Sean Tully may have been unlucky in love on the cobbles, but in real life Antony's met his Prince Charming. The soap star started dating long-term partner Peter in 2005, after they met when he was working as an assistant props buyer on Corrie. Rock band reschedule handful of shows to 'grieve' Ozzy Osbourne

Iconic metal band Pantera has cancelled several shows following the death of long-time friend Ozzy Osbourne. The Black Sabbath vocalist and music pioneer died aged 76 on July 22, with his family announcing the news to his legions of fans. It came just weeks after Ozzy and Sabbath performed their final show in their hometown of Birmingham, raising £140million for charity. Pantera – made up of Phil Anselmo, Charlie Benante, Rex Brown, and Zakk Wylde – were among the star-studded bill of Back To The Beginning, performing Cowboys from Hell, Walk, Planet Caravan, and Electric Funeral. Zakk was the longtime guitarist for Ozzy and joined Pantera in 2022 when the 80s band reformed. Following Ozzy's death, the group has rescheduled two concerts and cancelled three others to allow the band members to 'mourn' and 'grieve' their friend. In a message posted to social media, they said: 'Ozzy wasn't just a legend who shaped the very foundation of heavy metal and inspired Pantera from the beginning — he was family. 'A mentor, a brother, and a constant presence in our lives both on and off the stage. The bond we shared with him ran far deeper than music. 'In light of this profound loss, we need time and space to grieve — to be with our families, our crew, and each other as we process and honour the life of someone who meant so much to us. 'Out of respect, and to allow members of our team the time to mourn, we will be rescheduling the following shows.' Their US shows in Gilford, Birmingham, and Virginia Beach will no longer take place. Their July 20 show in Saratoga Springs has been rescheduled to September 9, and their July 31 date in Holmdel will now be held on September 8. Following the news of Ozzy's death, Pantera shared a tribute online expressing their deepest sympathies with his wife, Sharon, and his children, including Jack and Kelly. 'RIP @ozzyosbourne Thank you for all that you did for metal & Pantera. We wouldn't be here if it wasn't for you. Sharon, Jack, Kelly, Amy & Louis, we are so very sorry for your loss ❤️‍🩹,' they wrote. Ahead of the Back To The Beginning show, Zakk, who toured extensively with Ozzy throughout his career and reunited with the musician at the Villa Park show, shared some of his fondest memories of the Crazy Train hitmaker. 'I remember we played the Budokan [Arena] in Tokyo. I'd always have a bag of beer with me, just in case anywhere we were going didn't have beer,' the Black Label Society musician told NME. 'So, Oz comes in the room after the gig. He goes 'Zakky, Zakky… you got any beers?' I go, 'Yeah, but I'm not giving you one here. You're going to get us fired! Mum's [Sharon Osbourne] right across the hall – she's going to come and see the two of us drinking, is that going to be good?' He said the pair were like 'a couple of naughty school kids' opening up on the 'wholesome' touring memory. '[Ozzy] goes, 'Alright, tell you what, I'll meet you in the bathroom.' So I go in the bathroom, I'm waiting. All of a sudden, I hear the door open. He comes in the stall right next to me, and I push a Kirin or Asahi under there. I hear the 'psssst' of the can, then 'glug, glug, glug!' He downs it in one, puts the can down, pushes it back under and goes, 'Thanks, Zakk. I'll see you at dinner'.' To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video Plenty of celebrities across the globe have also shared tributes, including Sir David Beckham, Queen legend Sir Brian May, and the Gallagher brothers, who displayed Osbourne's photo on-screen during their Wembley concert. Osbourne's death was announced by his family, who revealed that he was 'surrounded by love' when the moment came. More Trending They said in a statement: 'It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning. He was with his family and surrounded by love.' As well as Sharon, he is survived by six children from his two marriages. Fans will know Kelly and Jack, whom he shared with Sharon and starred in their hugely popular reality series The Osbournes. But he also had another daughter, Aimee, with the former X Factor judge. As for his other kids, Osbourne welcomed Elliott, Louis, and Jessica with Thelma Riley, to whom he was married from 1971 to 1982. Got a story? Huge rock band reschedule several shows so they can 'grieve' Ozzy Osbourne

Members of heavy metal band Pantera were good friends with Ozzy Osbourne and his wife Sharon, and Phil Anselmo, Rex Brown, Zakk Wylde and Charlie Benant need to 'mourn' his death Rockers Pantera say they can't face taking to the stage following the death of their 'inspiration' Ozzy Osbourne. ‌ The heavy metal band have rescheduled a number of shows so they can grieve the music icon. The death of the Black Sabbath frontman, a pioneer in the genre, was announced last Tuesday. His devastated family said in a statement that the 76-year-old was 'surrounded by love' at the time of his passing. ‌ Pantera - Phil Anselmo, Rex Brown, guitarist Zakk Wylde and drummer Charlie Benant - grew close to Ozzy and say they need time to come to terms with the loss of their friend. In 1997, the group performed at Ozzfest, a music festival featuring heavy metal acts organised by him and his wife Sharon and they stayed close ever since. ‌ Pantera said: 'Ozzy wasn't just a legend who shaped the very foundation of heavy metal and inspired Pantera from the beginning — he was family. A mentor, a brother, and a constant presence in our lives both on and off the stage. The bond we shared with him ran far deeper than music. 'In light of this profound loss, we need time and space to grieve — to be with our families, our crew, and each other as we process and honour the life of someone who meant so much to us. Out of respect, and to allow members of our team the time to mourn, we will be the following rescheduling shows. July 28 - Saratoga Springs, NY → Tuesday, September 9. July 31 - Holmdel, NJ → Monday, September 8." ‌ Out of respect, and to allow members of our team the time to mourn, we will be rescheduling the following shows: Zakk recently recalled the most 'wholesome' moment from his time on tour with Ozzy. In an interview with Metal Hammer back in April, he looked back at their time on the road together. 'I remember we played the Budokan [Arena] in Tokyo. I'd always have a bag of beer with me, just in case anywhere we were going didn't have beer,' he said. "He comes in the room after the gig. He goes 'Zakky, Zakky… you got any beers?' I go, 'Yeah, but I'm not giving you one here. You're going to get us fired! Mum's [Sharon Osbourne] right across the hall – she's going to come and see the two of us drinking, is that going to be good?'' ‌ '[Ozzy] goes, 'Alright, tell you what, I'll meet you in the bathroom.' So I go in the bathroom, I'm waiting. All of a sudden, I hear the door open - he comes in the stall right next to me, and I push a Kirin or Asahi under there. I hear the 'psssst' of the can, then 'glug, glug, glug!' He downs it in one, puts the can down, pushes it back under and goes, 'Thanks, Zakk. I'll see you at dinner.'' In a statement that devastated the music world last week, the Osbourne family, including Kelly and Ozzy's wife Sharon, had said: "It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning. ‌ "He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time. Sharon, Jack, Kelly, Aimee and Louis." Ozzy's former Black Sabbath bandmates have also issued moving statements. Sharon is said to have been left utterly broken by Ozzy's death. Fans have since been leaving tributes outside his Buckinghamshire home, with flowers and loving message laid outside the gates. Half-drunk pints and bottles of beer have also been left alongside candles as mourners toast the rock icon on Birmingham's Black Sabbath bridge. In the wake of his sad death, details surrounding his final hours have emerged as it's been reported air ambulance crew flew to the Black Sabbath star's mansion in Buckinghamshire and worked for two hours to save his life. Thousands of fans have called for Birmingham Aiport to be renamed after the Prince of Darkness, but the airport has announced its own plans to honour Ozzy. Instead, Birmingham Aiport is planning to add artwork paying tribute to the Black Sabbath frontman in its terminal. A spokesperson told BirminghamLive: "Ozzy Osborne is an inspiration to so many in our region proving that talent, hard work, and commitment can take you to all corners of the world. In the coming weeks, we will be looking at how we can celebrate his heritage and contribution to the region via terminal artwork, creating a greater sense of place for Birmingham and his fans."
