Aaron Judge ties A-Rod on Yankees' all-time home run list at 351 in win over Braves
Judge hit his 351st career homer in a 4-2 win over the Braves on Sunday, moving into a tie with A-Rod for sixth place in Yankees history.
'Just an incredible honor, especially, you know, growing up watching A-Rod for so many years and watching what he did in pinstripes,' Judge said. 'He's a legend. One of the best ever players.'
Judge trails Yankee greats Babe Ruth (659), Mickey Mantle (536), Lou Gehrig (493), Joe DiMaggio (361) and Yogi Berra (358) in career homers for New York.
Judge's homer on Sunday was his 36th of the season. He is two behind MLB leader Cal Raleigh of the Mariners, who won the Home Run Derby in Atlanta on Monday.
Judge hit a solo shot in the first inning that traveled 409 feet to right field off Grant Holmes, giving the Yankees a 1-0 lead. It was his eighth home run in his last 17 games.
The Yankees travel to Toronto to face the AL East-leading Blue Jays in a three-game series starting Monday.

HOUSTON (AP) — Carlos Correa is returning to Houston, giving the Astros a huge — and familiar — boost after they reacquired the shortstop from the Minnesota Twins just before Thursday's trade deadline, according to a person with direct knowledge. The person spoke to The Associated Press on the condition of anonymity because the deal hadn't been announced. Additional terms of the deal weren't immediately available. Correa spent his first seven years in Houston, where he became one of the most beloved players in franchise history, helping the team to six playoff appearances, three American League pennants and its first World Series title in 2017 — a title tainted by a sign-stealing scandal. The top pick in the 2012 amateur draft and 2015 AL Rookie of the Year was part of the homegrown core that helped the Astros go from the league's laughingstock to perennial contenders. Cowboys coach chooses archaic punishment for training camp fights
New Dallas Cowboys coach Brian Schottenheimer might have gone a little too "old school" this week during training camp to punish the team for getting into fights. Scuffles are a regular feature to training camp activities, as the summer heat mixes in with the heat of competition and gets guys brawling a bit out of pride and frustration. Unless things really get out of hand, they're not a big deal, and sometimes can indicate the passion in the building is trending toward success. Well, Schottenheimer didn't see it that way on Wednesday, as he made his whole team and even some of the coaches run as a punishment for a few dust-ups. Team reporter Tommy Yarrish filmed video of the running. Look, discipline is always important for a good football team, but running for training camp fights feels like a bit much, doesn't it? These aren't high school athletes; they are grown men who are out there competing their butts off in the sweltering California heat, some of them for their football livelihoods. Passions will flare up. As long as the fight doesn't spill over into something worse and nobody gets hurt, a bit of conflict shouldn't be punished with team-wide running. Schottenheimer has been a football coach for a long time, so we'll let him make his calls for what he feels is right for his Cowboys team. However, this method of discipline for typical training camp tension might not go over well.
