Coming off a season that saw him bear the brunt of criticism for the Jets' failures and seeing his name thrown up as a trade candidate, Breece needs a big season under Tanner Engstrand.
And he's determined to get it.
Speaking on the Get Got Pod with Marshawn Lynch and Mike Robinson, Breece knows what he can do, and it involves doing something rather eye-popping in 2025.
"I can receive and I can run the ball," Hall said. "For me, it's not more so rushing the ball, it's just about my total output because I can be a 1,000-yard rusher and a 1,000-yard receiving back. I feel like for me it's just more so about me getting my touches, I just need to touch the ball and I feel like whenever I touch the ball I can make a big play out of it."

That is quite the goal.
However, with Aaron Glenn's desire to use all three backs, Hall, Braelon Allen, and Isaiah Davis, Breece likely won't be getting the number of touches needed to hit those marks.
Christian McCaffrey did it in 2019, but he had 287 rushing attempts and 116 receptions (142 targets). Both of those are significantly higher totals than Breece has ever had.
Hall has shown his ability as a genuine pass catcher, but he will be fighting with Allen and Davis for touches. So while Breece wants to show his worth and get ample touches, it might not be his decision.
But if he does, we imagine that a nice contract extension either from the Jets or someone else will be coming his way.

Key Luka Doncic Decision Could Change Everything For Lakers

Key Luka Doncic Decision Could Change Everything For Lakers originally appeared on Athlon Sports. The Los Angeles Lakers and LeBron James might be heading towards divorce, whether it's now or in the offseason. Advertisement He didn't sign a contract extension or opt out of his deal to sign a new long-term contract, and the Lakers' decision to keep some salary cap flexibility for the future hints at their plans of building around Luka Doncic. However, they still need to make sure that Doncic will be there for years to come. Los Angeles Lakers guard Luka Doncic (77).Jerome Miron-Imagn Images That's why ESPN insider Brian Windhorst believes that Doncic's decision to sign a contract extension will change everything not only for the Lakers but also for the entire league: 'I almost would argue the most important thing in the whole NBA this summer is Luka Doncic, whether he extends or not, because that frames so much of what the Lakers are going to do, and frankly, the whole league would do,' Windhorst said on NBA Today. Advertisement Windhorst argued that Rob Pelinka needed to make sure to get Doncic to put pen to paper, even if it's not with a long-term contract extension: 'So, I don't want to put too much pressure on it, but the Lakers really need to get him locked down, even if it's for a couple of years to verify that he's bought into what they're doing,' added Windhorst. Of course, nothing hints at Doncic not being happy or entirely bought in with the Lakers and their project. But we've seen how quickly things can change in the NBA, and if LeBron leaves, Doncic might also question his chances of winning a ring in Southern California. "Projects as a P4/high-major defensive piece whose ultimate positional home could depend on scheme/staff. Owns physical traits and natural athleticism that could lead to long-term NFL Draft candidacy." Advertisement Although Okpala also took official visits to Baylor, Miami, and Houston throughout the month of June, several recruiting predictions were entered back in April for the Longhorns to land the versatile linebacker. Texas now holds the No. 13 recruiting class in the nation for the 2026 cycle per 247Sports. Aaron Rodgers wastes no time bonding with new Steelers teammates in offseason photos

Aaron Rodgers' love life is off-limits, but he apparently doesn't mind sharing glimpses of his professional adventures. On Wednesday, the Steelers quarterback shared two photos from offseason workouts with his new teammates on Instagram. The first shot showed Rodgers alongside those who will be catching his passes this upcoming season, including new star receiver DK Metcalf and fellow wideouts Scotty Miller, Calvin Austin III, Ben Skowronek and Roman Wilson, along with tight end Pat Freiermuth. 4 Aaron Rodgers poses with his Steelers teammates. @aaronrodgers12/Instagram The second image showed Rodgers, Miller, Austin, Miller and Skowronek posing against a scenic water backdrop after a workout. It's likely the workouts happened in California, since Rodgers tagged Proactive Sports Performance in the posts, which is headquartered in Westlake Village. Entering what he expects to be his last season, the 41-year-old is trying to develop rapport with a new group of offensive weapons. Rodgers is notoriously tough to play alongside — just ask his ex-Jets teammate, Garrett Wilson — due to his expectations and demands on his pass-catchers, and any extra time together can only help. 4 Aaron Rodgers (c) flanked by his new teammates. @aaronrodgers12/Instagram The Steelers went 10-7 last season with Russell Wilson but lost their last five games and are hopeful Rodgers can provide better play under center. They signed him to a one-year deal with a base of $13.65 million that can be worth up to $19.5 million. Rodgers is coming off a two-season stint with the Jets, where he played alongside BFF Davante Adams in 2024 as Wilson, the 2022 Offensive Rookie of the Year, took a backseat. 4 Aaron Rodgers could be entering his last season. AP Oddsmakers, though, aren't buying it. The Steelers' win total is 8.5 at DraftKings, and they are favored in just six of their 17 games. Getting back to football activities surely is a welcome reprieve for Rodgers, who revealed that he's married — although his wife remains a mystery. Rodgers had been dating a woman named Brittani as of last December and wore a black ring on his left ring finger while signing his Steelers contract in June. There has since been plenty of chatter about his marriage, which he's not pleased with. 4 Aaron Rodgers could not save the Jets. Getty Images 'My private life is my private life and it's going to stay that way, and I'm with somebody who wants to be private, and if and when she wants to be out and there's a picture, she'll choose that,' Rodgers said last month on the 'Pat McAfee Show' on ESPN. 'But the entitlement to information about my private life is so f–king ridiculous and embarrassing.'
