Kelly Clarkson cried after cancelling Las Vegas show
The 43-year-old pop star was forced to cancel the opening night of her residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace after falling ill, and Kelly actually apologised to her fans after taking to the stage this weekend.
She told the crowd: "It took me a minute. I'm so sorry.
"I know some of y'all had tickets for last weekend's shows. I'm so sorry. We can't help our bodies sometimes. You know, we get sick, and that happens.
"But thank y'all for showing up. We are so excited. This is my favourite residency — my favourite show I've ever put together, because I love being in the studio."
Kelly subsequently revealed that she was reduced to tears by the cancellation.
She shared: "I'm celebrating because I had to cancel last weekend. I cried. I was so sick. It sucked. I'm so happy to be here!"
Kelly actually announced the postponement of the opening night of her residency on social media.
The pop star was supposed to begin her residency at Caesars Palace on July 4, but Kelly was forced to postpone her plans amid concerns about her voice.
The singer - who rose to fame by winning the first season of American Idol in 2002 - wrote on Instagram at the time: "We have been working 24/7 to make Studio Sessions the most intimate and extraordinary experience with and for my incredible fans. I am beyond grateful that you always show up for me and I am devastated to have to postpone tonight and tomorrow's opening at Caesars.
"The prep and rehearsals have taken a toll on my voice. I want the shows to be perfect for y'all and I need to protect myself from doing serious damage so I am taking this weekend and next week to rest up so that we can deliver what you all deserve.
"The show is truly incredible. The musicians and singers are outstanding, and I want us all to start out strong.
"I can't wait to be back next weekend and show y'all what we've been working on. (sic)"

The 65-year-old music mogul - who has enjoyed huge success with TV shows like The X Factor and America's Got Talent - has joined forces with the streaming giant to create Simon Cowell: The Next Act, a docu-series that will launch later this year. The logline for the show reads: "What Simon says, goes. And what Simon's saying right now is that the world is in serious need of its next boy band sensation. "Music mogul and record executive Simon Cowell has single-handedly created some of the biggest music superstars in the world. In the brand-new docuseries Simon Cowell: The Next Act, launching in Dec. 2025, cameras follow him as he sets out to do it once again. From raw open casting calls to the release of the group's debut single, this is an all-access pass for viewers to catch every moment of Cowell's next chapter. Will he strike gold and break industry records once again?" The docu-series promises to give viewers an "intimate" look at Simon's approach to business. The music mogul has already enjoyed huge success with the likes of One Direction and Fifth Harmony, and Simon is now keen to find the next big band. The logline continues: "Reality and music fans alike have watched Cowell build acclaimed bands on television many times before. Since 2001, he has appeared as a judge on several music reality competition series including Pop Idol, American Idol, The X Factor and The X Factor UK, Britain's Got Talent, and America's Got Talent. On these shows, he became infamous for his snarky remarks and harsh critiques. "Through his production company, Syco Entertainment, he has launched the careers of notable pop groups like One Direction, Little Mix, and Fifth Harmony. He also signed successful boy bands like Westlife, PrettyMuch, and CNCO to his record label Syco Music, which Cowell established as a division of Syco Entertainment in 2002 and sold as a wholly-owned subsidiary to Sony Music in 2020. Who will be the next group to join the ranks of these beloved bands?"

Jennifer Lopez is 'done' with marriage
Jennifer Lopez is "done" with marriage after splitting from fourth husband Ben Affleck last year. The 55-year-old pop star-actor was married to Ojani Noa, Cris Judd and Marc Anthony before tying the knot with Affleck in 2022, but they split in 2024 after less than two years of marriage and Lopez has now suggested she won't be walking down the aisle ever again. Video taken during her concert in Bilbao, Spain on Wednesday and posted on X, showed Lopez spotting an audience member holding up a sign which read: "J. Lo, marry me?" and she said: "I think I'm done with that. I've tried that a few times." Lopez, 55, was engaged to Hollywood actor Affleck in the early 2000s, but the relationship ended shortly before they were due to get married. They got back together in 2021 before tying the knot in two ceremonies in 2022 - one in Las Vegas and one in Georgia. The divorce filing came exactly two years after the couple's extravagant second bash on August 20, 2022. The paperwork listed the official date of their separation as April 26, 2024. The singer later admitted it had been an "intense year" and she was looking forward to taking time off and spending the holidays with her family. The former couple's divorce was finalised in January. Lopez has since returned to the road after cancelling her previous tour to focus on family matters. The singer kicked off her Up All Night tour in Pontevedra, Spain, on July 8. The shows will be performed across Europe before heading to the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Armenia, Turkey, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan. The Jenny From The Block star will then return to the US later in 2025 to launch her Up All Night residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas on December 30.
