Edinburgh Oasis line-up 'officially confirmed' before reunion as new drummer brought in
With the Oasis reunion tour only days away, fans are now wondering what they can expect to see on stage.
Having last performed together back in 2009, the Britpop band are hitting Cardiff, Manchester, Wembley, Dublin and of course Edinburgh. They'll be taking to the stage in Cardiff at the Principality Stadium on Friday.
On Wednesday morning a list of every musician taking part in the tour was shared online, reports Chronicle Live.
The main Oasis band line-up will consist of Liam on lead vocals, Noel (guitar/vocals), Paul Arthurs aka Bonehead on guitar and piano, Gem Archer on guitar, Andy Bell on bass guitar and newcomer Joey Waronker on drums, who has played for Liam at his solo gigs. The latter has prompted much discussion from fans, with many gutted Alan White won't be picking up his sticks for the new tour and Zak Starkey also missing in action.
Several additional musicians also appeared on the list, with Christian Madden on keyboards, Jess Greenfield doing backing vocals, Alastair Whire on trombone, Steve Hamilton (saxophone) and Joe Auckland on trumpet.

On Monday (June 30), an application to Edinburgh City Council's licensing board to increase Murrayfield's capacity from 67,130 to 69,990 was approved, much to the delight of Scots Oasis fans with as many as 8,000 extra tickets expected to go on sale.
Licensing board convener and local councillor Louise Young, said: 'An application to increase the capacity at Murrayfield for the upcoming Oasis concerts was approved by the Licensing Board on June 23."

Fans who are members of Oasismynet have been urged to keep an eye on their inboxes for updates. "If you are an Oasismynet member, keep an eye on your inbox for an email from your regular Oasismynet or Ticketmaster correspondence address," the message added.
Details about the start time of the gigs was also teased by Liam, who told Cardiff fans he would 'start without them'.
The Oasis frontman posted: "OASIS on stage 8.15pm Cardiff don't be late or we'll start without you and you don't want that now do ya see ya there LG x."

Lewis Capaldi puts Noel Gallagher feud behind him at Oasis gig with famous pal
The Scots singer was spotted smiling with The View frontman Kyle Falconer. Lewis Capaldi and Noel Gallagher's infamous public feud hit headlines back in 2019 but appears to now be put to bed as Lewis attended the Oasis Live 25 tour in London. The Someone You Loved singer and The View frontman Kyle Falconer were spotted smiling for the camera at Wembley stadium as they waited for Oasis to take to stage at the weekend. Kyle and his wife Laura shared the snaps on Instagram as the doting dad took his young daughter Wylde to see her favourite band. Many fans would be surprised to see Lewis at the gig given his feud with the eldest Gallagher brother, Noel. Their spat first began when Noel said during an interview on Radio X in 2019 that he didn't know who Capaldi was. Despite Lewis' debut album ,Divinely Unexpired to a Hellish Extent, having just peaked at number one in the UK and Ireland, making it the fastest selling album of the year, Noel said: "Music is f***ing w*** at the moment". He then insulted the Glasgow-born star as he said: "Who's this Capaldi fella? Who the f***'s that idiot?" However, in true Capaldi fashion, the Scots singer left fans rolling about laughing as he took to his Instagram stories to celebrate Noel's comments in a sarcastic manner. While watching the interview, he responded: "F***ing c'mon! F***ing peaked – slagged off by Noel Gallagher! "Number 1 single – who gives a f***? Number 1 album – who gives a f***? Noel Gallagher has just slagged me off. This is dreams coming true." Capaldi didn't stop there as he wished Gallagher a happy Father's Day while he filmed himself enjoying Oasis' 2002 hit 'Stop Crying Your Heart Out'. Noel was quick to hit back with a tweet that poked fun at Capaldi's track Someone You Loved. He captioned the post: "@LewisCapaldi you big daftie. You might wanna try and find some joy in your tunes, you're destroying the 11yr old is in bits." Lewis further tormented the High Flying Birds frontman with a backstage photo beside his then-estranged brother and former Oasis bandmate, Liam Gallagher. A furious Noel referenced Capaldi's stunt in an interview with Variety and took things a step further as he poked fun at Lewis' appearance. He said: "F****** Chewbacca should enjoy his 15 minutes. The greatest day of his life that I slagged him off or called him an idiot. "It's the greatest day of his f****** life so far. He's just thinking 'wow'. Primal Scream attend Oasis concert and share praise
The Scottish rock band, formed in Glasgow in 1982 by Bobby Gillespie and Jim Beattie, took to social media to share their praise following the concert. The concerts on August 8, 9, and 12 will be the band's first appearances at the Edinburgh venue since their final tour 15 years ago. A total audience of 210,000 is expected across the three nights.
