Israeli Strike Massacres Family in Shati Refugee Camp
In one of the deadliest incidents of the day, an Israeli airstrike targeted the home of the Nassar family near Martyrs' Square in the Shati refugee camp, west of Gaza City.
According to Palestinian Red Crescent paramedics, five people were killed and others injured in the attack, while several remain trapped under the rubble. Victims were transferred to Al-Shifa Hospital as search efforts continued under increasingly dangerous conditions.
In the Tal al-Hawa neighborhood, close to Al-Quds Hospital, Israeli warplanes bombed Al-Awda Tower (2) after a previous threat. Patients, medical personnel, and displaced people taking refuge nearby were all terrified by the strike; many had fled previous strikes only to find themselves in danger again.
In the Al-Rimal neighborhood, west of Gaza City, a group of tents housing displaced families was the target of another deadly attack. Several civilians, including children, were reportedly killed or injured in the bombing, which targeted a site where dozens of families had taken refuge.
In the southern Gaza Strip, the devastation continued. A source at Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis confirmed that 10 people, most of them children, were killed in an Israeli strike that hit a tent encampment for displaced persons in the Al-Mawasi area.
On Monday alone, at least 62 Palestinians were killed in Israeli raids across the Strip. The occupation forces reportedly targeted tents sheltering displaced people, gatherings of civilians, a water distribution vehicle, and groups of people waiting in line to receive so-called 'aid' under U.S. and Israeli supervision.
One particularly devastating strike killed six members of the same family, a father, mother, and their four children, when their tent near the Palestine Mosque in western Gaza City was directly hit. More than 30 others were injured in the same attack.
The source noted that many of the injured were in critical condition, warning of a likely rise in the death toll. Since the Israeli genocide began on October 7, 2023, the number of Palestinians killed has increased to 58,386, the great majority of whom were women and children, and 139,077 have been injured.

Settlers attack Palestinian land and vehicles in the village of Burqa, in the West Bank
DaysofPal—The village of Burqa, east of Ramallah, was rocked by tension and fear Monday after dozens of Israeli settlers attacked violently, setting cars on fire and trying to burn down houses. The settlers, backed by Israeli occupation forces, descended on the village in a coordinated attack that left parts of the area in flames and residents fearing further violence. Villagers said they confronted the settlers as they hurled incendiary materials at cars and properties. A video circulating online showed settlers throwing fire-starting substances at parked vehicles. Several cars were completely burned, and flames spread toward nearby wooded areas. According to witnesses, the Israeli military entered the town shortly after the settlers withdrew and blocked Palestinian civil defense teams from reaching the scene to extinguish the fires. The attackers reportedly retreated to the nearby Tzur Harel settlement outpost. Still, residents of Burqa expressed deep concern that similar attacks may soon follow, especially given the lack of intervention, or even facilitation, by Israeli forces. Military Raids and Violence Across the West Bank While settler violence escalated, Israeli occupation forces carried out widespread raids across the West Bank, storming homes, assaulting residents, and arresting several individuals in a continued campaign of repression. In the eastern West Bank city of Jericho, local sources reported that Israeli forces surrounded a house in the city center. Meanwhile, in the Jenin governorate, a series of military incursions targeted towns and villages, including Kafr Ra'i, Kafr Dan, and Fahma. Homes were raided, clashes erupted, and live ammunition was fired. The raids followed the killing of 20-year-old Yusuf Walid Abdullah Sheikh Ibrahim near Jenin. According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, the General Authority for Civil Affairs was informed by the Israeli side that the young man had been shot and killed by occupation forces. Later that night, troops raided the home of his family in Kafr Ra'i. In Jenin's Jabal Abu Dhir area, soldiers deployed snipers, raided homes, and briefly detained a young man. Nearby towns such as Kafr Dan and Fahma also witnessed violent searches and home invasions. In the northern West Bank, the city of Tulkarm and its surrounding areas, including Aktaaba, Shuweika, Dhanaba, and Nabi Yaqoub Park, saw a broad campaign of harassment. Soldiers stormed neighborhoods, set up checkpoints, stopped and searched vehicles, and interrogated citizens on the spot. Several people were assaulted, including a child who was attacked while riding his bicycle; his bike was destroyed by the soldiers. A young man was also beaten after troops raided his shop, and another was arrested. Elsewhere, in the village of Hajja, east of Qalqilya, Israeli forces raided with military vehicles but made no arrests. In the central West Bank, occupation forces stormed the village of Al-Mughayyir, northeast of Ramallah, establishing a military checkpoint at its entrance and raiding at least one home. Palestinian Prisoners Suffer Terrifying Conditions in Israeli Caustody
DaysofPal—Raed Amer, Director of International Relations at the Palestinian Prisoners Club Association, has described the situation inside Israeli prisons as 'terrifying and deeply alarming.' Amer said in a statement on Tuesday that testimonies from released prisoners and attorneys have revealed the grim and degrading conditions faced by male and female detainees held in Israeli prisons. He explained that human rights organizations have extensively documented accounts from former prisoners and lawyers who managed to visit detainees, reporting 'horrifying' details about the abuse, mistreatment, and violations occurring behind bars. Amer added that the Palestinian Prisoners Club is actively working on the international level to bring attention to the suffering of prisoners and to inform relevant global bodies about the ongoing violations taking place inside Israeli detention facilities. He pointed to a newly released report on the state of the Palestinian prisoner movement during the first half of 2025, describing it as containing 'extremely dangerous findings' related to conditions of detention, and the Israeli policies of abuse, starvation, and humiliation. 'This is reflected in Israel's admission that 73 prisoners have died under torture, which amounts to executions,' Amer said. 'And this figure does not even include prisoners from Gaza who were executed.' According to Amer, Israeli forces have arrested more than 18,000 Palestinians in recent months. Currently, there are around 11,000 Palestinians held in Israeli jails, nearly half of them under administrative detention without charge or trial. Among them are 50 female prisoners and approximately 40 journalists. Shortlink for this post:
