Julian McMahon, "Charmed," "Fantastic Four" and "Nip/Tuck" Star, Dies at 56

Julian McMahon, the suave Australian actor best known for his performances on 'Charmed,' 'Nip/Tuck," 'FBI: Most Wanted' and the early aughts 'Fantastic Four' films, died Wednesday in Florida after a battle with cancer. He was 56.
McMahon got his start on a string of Australian TV soaps, including 'The Power, the Passion' and 'Home and Away.'
He made his film debut playing a lifeguard in the 1992 comedy 'Wet and Wild Summer,' co-starring with Elliott Gould and Christopher Atkins.
One of McMahon's first American TV jobs was a 22-episode arc on the NBC soap opera 'Another World.'
He then landed a recurring role on another NBC program, 'Profiler,' before breaking out as Cole Turner on 'Charmed.' He starred in three seasons of the supernatural teen drama.
McMahon's first major leading role in television was on Ryan Murphy's campy plastic surgery series 'Nip/Tuck,' which ran for six seasons on FX.
He starred as Dr. Christian Troy, a womanizing and arrogant surgeon, who worked with Dylan Walsh's more milquetoast Dr. Sean McNamara. He earned a Golden Globe nomination for the role in 2005.
Years after the FX series, McMahon's next major TV role was on 'FBI: Most Wanted,' where he played Jesse LaCroix, a supervisory special agent who mentored younger members of his team.
He joined the series in 2020 and starred in 43 episodes before exiting in 2022.
McMahon's other TV credits include 'Full Circle,' 'Hunters,' 'Runaways,' and 'The Residence.'
McMahon's best-known film role was playing the villainous Doctor Doom in Tim Story's 2005 'Fantastic Four' and its 2007 sequel 'Rise of the Silver Surfer.'
Other film credits include 'Red,' 'Faces in the Crowd,' 'Paranoia,' 'Swinging Safari,' 'Monster Party,' 'The Surfer' and 'The Supremes at Earl's All-You-Can-Eat.'
McMahon, born in Sydney, Australia on July 27, 1968, was the son of Billy McMahon, the Australian Prime Minister from 1971 to 1972.

Yara Sameh Egyptian actor Karim Abdel Aziz is preparing for a new TV series, which he plans to participate in during the Ramadan 2026 drama marathon. The series features Abdel Aziz embodying a man from Upper Egypt for the first time. It witnesses the "Blue Elephant" star's comeback to the drama marathon after opting to skip this season. He made his last participation in the marathon with the 2024 TV series " Al-Hashashin ". The drama also reunites Abdel Aziz with the "Al-Hashashin" scriptwriter Abdel Rahim Kamal and director Peter Mimi. The series takes place in the 11th century and sees the actor playing Hassan Al-Sabbah, the founder of Al-Hashashin. Al-Hashashin was a sect of assassins that operated between 1090 and 1275 CE. During that time, they lived in the mountains of Persia and Syria and the covert murder of leaders who were considered enemies of the Nizārī Ismāʿīlī State. Shery Adel to Star in TV Series "Ma Tarah Les Kama Yabdo"

Yara Sameh Egyptian actress Shery Adel has landed her next TV role in the story "Dejavu" from the TV series 'Ma Tarah Les Kama Yabdo'. The series consists of 35 episodes, each divided into seven stories that are presented in 5 episodes and highlight different combinations of social, suspense, and humanitarian themes. The stories feature different casts and creative teams to offer visual and dramatic diversity within a single production that caters to the diverse tastes of the audience. Shery Adel The series also boasts a large group of talented actors that includes Mariem El Gendy, Ahmed Khaled Saleh, Hanady Mehanna, Tara Emad, Rana Raeis, Ahmed Gamal Said, Hager El Sharnouby, Nancy Helal, and Amr Saleh. 'Ma Tarah Les Kama Yabdo" is a unique and distinctive drama experience in development by producer Karim Abu Zekry and United Media Services. Shery Adel The show's creators are keen to deliver distinctive content in both form and content, in line with the development of the modern drama industry in Egypt.
