Post Malone Ties His Own Radio Record — And He's About To Beat It

Post Malone's 'I Had Some Help' ties 'Circles' with 60 weeks on Billboard's Radio Songs chart, ... More making them his longest-running hits as the country duet continues. (Photo by Christopher Polk/Variety via Getty Images) Variety via Getty Images Post Malone first became a musical superstar thanks to the songs he released that fit within the hip-hop genre. He found incredible commercial success right out of the gate, but when it comes to his performance on Billboard's main radio ranking, his longest-running smashes can't be classified as rap. Instead, his biggest pop tune and his first proper country hit are now tied for a special place within his discography. Malone's collaboration with Morgan Wallen, "I Had Some Help," as well as his solo tune "Circles" have both spent 60 weeks on the Billboard's Radio Songs chart. That tally ranks the singles that rack up the largest number of total audience impressions across all airplay formats in the U.S. It's rare for any track to live on the list for a year or longer, and now Malone has scored a pair of those massive wins. "Circles" debuted on the Radio Songs chart in September 2019 and reached No. 1 in December. It spent 11 weeks ruling and still stands as Malone's longest-running champion by far. "I Had Some Help" only held on to the top spot for about half as long — five frames. It launched on the competitive ranking in May 2024 and has not disappeared since. While "I Had Some Help" is currently matched with "Circles," the two likely won't be tied for very long. Malone's first country win rises to No. 20 on the 50-spot roster, so there's a good chance it will continue to live on this list for several more months. In fact, by the time it's done, "I Had Some Help" may rank as one of the longest-charting tracks in the history of the Radio Songs tally. "I Had Some Help" is Malone's only current hit on the Radio Songs chart this week, but Wallen fills 10% of all the available spots. Amazingly, "I Had Some Help" is his highest-ranking win, even after more than a year on the roster, as it sits just above both "Just in Case" and "I'm the Problem," which give him a winning streak as they occupy Nos. 21 and 22, respectively. Further down on the ranking, "Love Somebody" dips to No. 44, while "What I Want," Wallen's collaboration with Tate McRae, lifts to a new peak of No. 46 in its second frame on the tally.

Morgan Wallen's No. 1 Hit Is Barely Making Noise At Country Radio

Morgan Wallen and Tate McRae's 'What I Want' rises to No. 15 on Adult Pop Airplay but barely clings ... More to the Country Airplay chart at No. 60, reflecting its pop-focused strategy. 'What I Want,' his collaboration with Canadian pop singer Tate McRae, launched atop multiple tallies at once, including the Hot 100, where it gave McRae her first career champion on that list. Weeks later, it's clear that 'What I Want' is becoming a major success at pop radio. Meanwhile, the country world — where Wallen remains the biggest star the scene has experienced in many years — has yet to fully embrace the track. 'What I Want' Returns to the Country Radio Chart 'What I Want' returns to the Country Airplay chart this frame, but only barely. The Wallen/McRae duet appears on the ranking of the most successful tunes at country radio at No. 60, in last place. Morgan Wallen's Low-Ranking Hit This frame is just the second for the track on this roster, as it previously debuted and peaked at No. 55. 'What I Want' is likely not being promoted to country radio, or at least not heavily. Instead, it's being pushed to pop stations. Although Wallen remains a fixture at country radio, the fact that 'What I Want' appears may be due solely to his incredible popularity and the general success of the tune. 'What I Want' is a Pop Radio Win While 'What I Want' is off to a very slow start on Country Airplay, it is currently performing significantly better on two of Billboard's three pop radio lists. This frame, Wallen and McRae reach a new high point of No. 15 on the Adult Pop Airplay list, up one spot from last time around. 'What I Want' also holds its all-time peak of No. 19 on the Pop Airplay tally, the most important top 40 radio list in America. Morgan Wallen and Tate McRae Rise on the Radio Songs List 'What I Want' is also just getting started on the all-genre Radio Songs chart, where the collaboration debuted last week. This time around, it improves slightly, pushing to No. 45, though it still ranks below all of Wallen's other successes at the moment. Morgan Wallen's Five Country Radio Smashes While 'What I Want' may never become a breakout hit at country radio, that doesn't mean it's not successful. Wallen and his team are likely just giving different radio formats one or two tracks to focus on at a time instead of flooding the country market. As 'What I Want' returns to the Country Airplay list, Wallen fills five spaces on the 60-spot roster, which is nearly unheard of on one of Billboard's most competitive tallies.

Raheem DeVaughn Drops ‘The Love Experience (20th Anniversary Mixtape)'

Source: N/A / n/a It's been two decades since Raheem DeVaughn dropped his game-changing debut album The Love Experience , and now the self-proclaimed Love King is giving fans a nostalgic gift to celebrate. Just in time for the 20th anniversary, DeVaughn has released The Love Experience (20th Anniversary Mixtape)—a soulful blend of remixes, rare cuts, and exclusive commentary that captures the spirit of the original album and the era it was born in. Hosted by DJ Lil Mac, the mixtape delivers that classic mid-2000s feel, with a modern-day spin. 'This mixtape is a love letter to my day-one fans and a reintroduction to a project that changed my life,' said DeVaughn. 'Working with DJ Lil Mac again brought everything full circle.' Originally released on June 28, 2005, The Love Experience made waves immediately, debuting at No. 9 on Billboard's Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. It featured the standout lead single 'Guess Who Loves You More,' produced by Kenny Dope, and included timeless tracks like 'You,' 'Believe,' 'Ask Yourself,' and 'Is It Possible.' Fun fact: 'Is It Possible' was originally written for fellow neo-soul artist Dwele, who even recorded a version that's still floating around the internet. At the time, Raheem said, 'I think he's real dope, he's a friend of mine and we'll probably do some stuff down the pipeline in the future.' Since then, DeVaughn has built a catalog full of rich, romantic R&B—dropping acclaimed albums like Love Behind the Melody (featuring Grammy-nominated 'Woman' and 'Customer'), The Love & War MasterPeace , Love Sex Passion , Decade Of A Love King , and What A Time To Be In Love , just to name a few. Currently, Raheem is on his Quiet Storm Lover Tour, with upcoming stops in Baltimore, Washington D.C., Detroit, Cincinnati, and more. On top of that, he continues to serenade listeners as the host of WHUR's Quiet Storm radio show and is reportedly working on new music. With The Love Experience (20th Anniversary Mixtape) , Raheem DeVaughn isn't just celebrating the past—he's proving that timeless R&B still has a place in today's world.
