Milos Kerkez deal could see Liverpool left-back join Rangers
Liverpool are facing a transfer overhaul in the current transfer window. We've already seen the club move on from Trent Alexander-Arnold, Caoimhin Kelleher and Nat Phillips - among others - but expect more departures before the summer is out.
Sporting director Richard Hughes and Arne Slot will require several outgoings to finance the next phase of their transfer plans - which include adding a new striker and perhaps even a new centre-back.

It means plenty of Liverpool squad members - as well as fringe players - could be on the move in order to facilitate the new arrivals.
For example England under-21 trio Jarell Quansah, Harvey Elliott and Tyler Morton could all end up at new clubs come next season.
Owen Beck linked with Rangers
Quansah looks closer than the other two to the exit - with Bayer Leverkusen close to wrapping up a £30m transfer. But even those further away from the first-team picture could be cashed in. One of those players who could potentially move on is Owen Beck.
The 22-year-old left-back impressed out on loan last season in the Championship with Blackburn Rovers. The Wales international previously spent time away from the club at Dundee, Bolton Wanderers and Famalicao.

And according to a report in Ibrox Noise, Rangers could be the next destination for the homegrown Liverpool defender.
Kerkez arrival could see a clearout
The Scottish giants are undergoing a transformation this summer under new head coach Russell Martin and reportedly see Beck as a key target.
Given his previous success in the SPFL with Dundee, Rangers are now 'making a serious move' for the left-sided defender.
Beck has been at Liverpool since under-13 level, making his first-team debut in 2021. His current contract is listed as expiring in 2026 - per Transfermarkt.
Therefore Liverpool could try to convince Beck to sign a new contract before sending him out on loan.

LONDON (AP) — To be clear, Coco Gauff didn't bring up the word 'star' during a recent interview with The Associated Press; the reporter did. So as Gauff began to answer a question about balancing her life as a professional athlete with her off-court interests, she caught herself repeating that term. 'I definitely didn't know how it would look like,' she began with a smile, 'before I got to be, I guess, a star — feels weird to call myself that — but I definitely did want to expand outside of tennis. Always. Since I was young.' She still is young, by just about any measure, and she is a really good tennis player — Gauff owns the Grand Slam titles and No. 2 ranking to prove it as she heads into Wimbledon, which begins Monday — but the 21-year-old American is also more than that. Someone unafraid to express her opinions about societal issues. Someone who connects with fans via social media. Someone who is the highest-paid female athlete in any sport, topping $30 million last year, according to with less than a third of that from prize money and most via deals with companies such as UPS, New Balance, Rolex and Barilla. Someone who recently launched her own management firm. And someone who wants to succeed in the business world long after she no longer swings a racket on tour. 'It's definitely something that I want to start to step up for post-career. Kind of start building that process, which is why I wanted to do it early. Because I didn't want to feel like I was playing catch-up at the end of my career,' said Gauff, who will face Dayana Yastremska in the first round at the All England Club on Tuesday. 'On the business side of things, it doesn't come as natural as tennis feels. I'm still learning, and I have a lot to learn about,' Gauff said. 'I've debated different things and what paths I wanted to take when it came to just stimulating my brain outside of the court, because I always knew that once I finished high school that I needed to put my brain into something else.' In a campaign announced this week by UPS, which first partnered with Gauff in 2023 before she won that year's U.S. Open, she connects with business coach Emma Grede — known for working with Kim Kardashian on Skims, and with Khloe Kardashian on Good American — to offer mentoring to three small-business owners. 'Coco plays a key role in helping us connect with those younger Gen-Z business owners — emerging or younger entrepreneurs,' Betsy Wilson, VP of digital marketing and brand activation at UPS, said in a phone interview. 'Obviously, she's very relevant in social media and in culture, and working with Coco helps us really connect with that younger group.' While Grede helped the entrepreneurs, Gauff also got the opportunity to pick up tips. 'It's really cool to learn from someone like her,' Gauff said. 'Whenever I feel like I'm ready to make that leap, I can definitely reach out to her for advice and things like that. ... Albion kit team completes 35-mile charity walk
The team walked 35 miles to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the club's charity foundation [Johnny Cantor/BBC] The team which looks after the kit for Brighton and Hove Albion's players has completed a 35-mile (56km) charity walk. Alex Burrows, Harry Wood and the club's media manager Matt Bishop set off from the village of Rustington in West Sussex on Wednesday and arrived at the Amex Stadium on Friday afternoon. Advertisement The event was to mark the 35th anniversary of the Brighton and Hove Albion FC charity foundation, with a fundraising target of £35,000. Mr Burrows said "the support was incredible all along the route". Known as Buzz, he is raising money for The Brain Tumour Charity after his son was diagnosed with a tumour. He said: "As a kit team, we work closely with the foundation and we all know the amazing work they have done in the local area to change lives through football over the last 35 years. "We're hoping to raise some money to help them over the next 35." The team members were joined on the first day of the walk by DJ and Seagulls fan Norman Cook, known as Fatboy Slim, and 2013 Masterchef: The Professionals winner Steven Edwards, a Hove restaurateur. Advertisement Mr Burrows told BBC Radio Sussex: "The first two and a half days were predominantly flat, but we hit some inclines on Friday which was tough. "I'm glad we got them on the last day rather than the first."
