Il Gattopardo in Dubai
Nestled inside the 51st floor of ICD Brookfield Place, there's an air of business about the place, but it's definitely relaxed, and as you sink into your seat, you'll notice the easy-going vibes almost immediately.

Describing itself as serving Italian classics with a modern interpretation thrown in now and again, Gattopardo's menu really does do what it says on the tin – and well.
Despite sitting pretty at the top of a Dubai tower, the Italian doesn't come with penthouse prices. You could easily demolish a margherita pizza smothered in fior di latte and a glass of grape without denting the bank balance too hard.
But if you're going all out, the mains become steeper, with anything from the fish or meat selection sitting well above Dhs200.

Kick off with a smoked burrata topped with grilled courgettes and pistachios, paired with a plate of the classic beef bolognese and smoked scamorza arancini (for a little crunch). They won't bowl you over, but they don't disappoint.
There are plenty of options for a main course, from fresh fish to truffle pizzas and an expertly cooked rack of lamb if you're in the mood. For a dish that tastes as good as it looks on the 'gram, the granchio taliolini is a must-try – a hearty plate of pasta full of fresh lemon zest and a sweeter brown crab broth that you won't forget easily.

Yes, of course, there's tiramisu on the menu, but we'd suggest branching out when it comes to your dessert. Order one of the tavoletta chocolate bars to finish, adorned with a glistening golden gattopardo (leopard) on the top. Pick up the adorable chisel served with it and get to work breaking it into bite-sized pieces for a rich and lasting sweet note.
Managing to offer up a lively Italian without too many replays of That's Amore, Il Gattopardo gives the exact energy you need for a solid post-work bite in a space that isn't roaring for attention. With its refined setting, confident cooking and just enough edge to stand out in a crowded jungle of DIFC dining, this leopard has comfortably found its spot.

The best clubs in Rome for 2025
As the land of la dolce vita, we Romans have a reputation for embracing pleasure in all its forms – whether that's lingering over a wine-fuelled dinner or dancing until dawn. Nightlife in the capital is just as diverse as the city itself. You might find yourself sipping Spritzes under string lights in a garden that feels more like Bali than central Rome. Or moving to electronic beats in a cavernous, post-industrial space where the music never stops. And if glamour is more your thing, you'll want to head somewhere with velvet ropes, strobe lights and a guest list full of stilettos and champagne. Whatever your vibe, Rome has a dance floor – and a crowd – for it. Best clubs in Rome 1. Alcazar Live Things to do Concerts price 2 of 4 This ex-movie theatre-turned-club in Trastevere is one of Rome's most popular venues. Lewis Hamilton reveals the one thing he doesn't miss since Ferrari Formula One switch
Lewis Hamilton reveals the one thing he doesn't miss since Ferrari Formula One switch The seven-time Formula One world champion got used to working with a largely British garage when driving for McLaren and Mercedes (Image: Getty Images ) Sir Lewis Hamilton experienced a massive culture shock when he moved to Formula One team Ferrari - although he is happy he no longer has to endure the smell of curry on race days. The seven-time Formula One world champion got used to working with a largely British garage when driving for McLaren and Mercedes before making the switch to Ferrari in 2025, for which he now spends most of his time in Maranello, Italy. Lewis, 40, admits the culture is totally different with his Italian team making time for a lengthy lunch each day, but one thing he doesn't miss is the strong smell of spices and garlic on a Sunday morning, which was what would enter his nostrils because his British technical team and mechanics would always go for a curry on a Saturday night before race day. Ahead of the British Grand Prix this Sunday (06.07.25), Lewis made an appearance in London week to mark the grand opening of The House of Peroni Nastro Azzurro 0.0 and spilled about how his life has changed since becoming a Scuderia Ferrari HP driver to Nick Grimshaw. He said: "The Brits loved curry, my British team they would always have a curry so like on Sunday morning when they'd come into the race they'd literally stink, they all smelled of curry in the morning, garlic was just in our engineering room all the time. "They weren't passionate about food otherwise. Italians? Oh my God. There's literally a scheduled time in the day, lunch they can never, ever miss. Article continues below "Sometimes I go into the garage to talk to my mechanics, I'm like, where is everyone? They're at lunch. "I think they're the only team that does that!" Lewis has won the British Grand Prix nine times and been on the race's podium 11 times throughout his illustrious career. And despite having zero podium places so far out of the 11 races this season, Lewis is hoping for a "strong result" at his beloved Silverstone track. Speaking at a media day on Thursday (03.07.25), he optimistically said: "There is always magic here at Silverstone. "It is a very, very special race, and I am hoping all sorts of things can help us. I am hoping and praying. "I cannot wait for Friday. Driving a Ferrari at Silverstone for the first time will be special and unique in its own way. We have the best fans here, and for a British driver, they really do make a difference." Following Lewis launching The House of Peroni Nastro Azzurro 0.0, the attraction is open until July 5 and features a full schedule of immersive fan experiences with highlights including a pizza masterclass with 50 Top Pizza Europa no.1 Pizza Chef Michele Pascarella, and a cocktail-making workshop hosted by award-winning mixologist Federico Riezzo. Here, guests can learn to create pizzas and drinks inspired by Hamilton and Charles Leclerc. The House of Peroni Nastro Azzurro 0.0 is located at The Stables, Covent Garden. Victoria Beckham's heartbreaking family message in anniversary tribute to David
Former Spice Girls singer Victoria Beckham has shared some sweet words about her family on her and David's 26th wedding anniversary - amid their family feud with son Brooklyn Victoria Beckham has made a heartbreaking comment about her family while paying tribute to her husband David on their wedding anniversary. The mum-of-four, 51, took to Instagram to gush over David, on their 26th wedding anniversary after they tied the knot on July 4, 1999. Sharing a throwback photo of herself and David sharing a passionate kiss in a swimming pool, Victoria wrote: "Another year, another chapter in our love story. I'm so proud of the beautiful family and life we've built together. You and our four incredible children complete me. I love you so much @davidbeckham. Here's to 26 years." The comments made about her 'beautiful family' and her incredible four children comes after months of a family feud with Victoria's eldest son Brooklyn, 26, who has distanced himself from his parents and siblings, Romeo, 22, Cruz, 20, and Harper-Seven, 13. David also reached out to his eldest son, Brooklyn – who he affectionately calls 'Buster' – in the midst of the family feud. Brooklyn and his wife, Nicola Peltz, 30, left the newly-appointed Sir 'heartbroken' when they swerved his 50th birthday in May. The bash was attended by all of David's other kids: Romeo, Cruz and Harper as well as important other members of the Beckhams' inner circle. Brooklyn made no reference to his dad's milestone – or his long-awaited knighthood title – despite wishing his father-in-law and brother-in-law a happy birthday on social media. However, David, has now tried to reconnect with the hot sauce enthusiast, despite Brooklyn's repeated snubs, once again. Paying tribute to 'Lady Beckham' on their wedding anniversary, David thanked Victoria for giving him four children. Sharing a snap of the couple from their lavish nuptials in Ireland, he wrote: "26 years today you said YES to me. Happy Anniversary and thank you for giving me our beautiful children and building the life that we have together. "I love you Lady Beckham @victoriabeckham @brooklynpeltzbckham @romeobeckham @cruzbeckham #harperseven." Brooklyn's brother, Romeo also appeared to reach out to his brother but for very different reasons. Romeo sent a heartfelt message to his sibling following the tragic death of Liverpool footballer Diogo Jota. Diogo and his brother lost their lives on Thursday after their car crashed in Spain. Paying tribute to the footballers, Romeo shared a shared a passionate post about telling the people you love how much you appreciate them. Taking to Instagram with a string of broken hearted emojis, he shared a message, which read: "The people that truly love you and care for you will always be there." Brooklyn, meanwhile, is still keeping silent - apart from promoting his latest six-figure photoshoot with Nicola. The couple, who got married three years ago, posed up a storm for Italian brand Moncler in London, just two miles away from the Beckham's family home. On the day of the shoot, David was even closer to his son as he attended the Chelsea Flower Show, which was only a mile away. Photos from the shoot have finally been released, as Brooklyn and Nicola put on a very loved-up display. However, a source told The Mirror: 'The fact that Brooklyn was in the country and failed to see any of his family was heartbreaking. And not only that, but here he was posting about it.' "Brooklyn had kept the visit quiet from not only his mum and dad but his siblings and extended family. It was terribly sad that he had flown thousands of miles to London and hadn't engaged at all. It would have been very easy to meet up.'
