8 hidden facts and details of the Eagles' Super Bowl ring
The Eagles unveiled their Super Bowl rings commemorating their championship on Friday night as players received their rings in a team ceremony. Players were sized for their rings and selected designs during the locker room cleanout and exit interviews with the media in February.
The Super Bowl LIX Championship Ring was crafted by Jason of Beverly Hills, measuring 41 millimeters in diameter and featuring a total of 12 carats in diamonds, with a combined weight of 140 grams. The ring is composed of white gold and features a green sapphire, symbolizing the Eagles' performance.
With training camp just days away, we're examining eight hidden facts and details about the glitzy design.
Top of the ring
The top of the ring has two Lombardi Trophies for the two Super Bowls the Eagles have won since 2017. One side of the ring has the 40-22 final score from February. The other side of Hurts' ring has his name and jersey number.
Middle inscription
The middle inscription displays the final score of all four postseason matchups, beginning with the Wild Card win over the Packers and concluding with the Super Bowl win over Kansas City.
Wings that pop out
The rings also include a mechanism that allows the 'WINGS' to pop out of the ring and expand.
18 wins on the way to Super Bowl glory
Philadelphia went 14-3 during the regular season and then won four more postseason games. To commemorate that journey, every ring has 18 stones at the top.
Player name
Every player has their name and signature on the dazzling ring.
Ten points of diamonds
Philadelphia went on a ten-game win streak after starting the season out 2-2, and the franchise had ten diamonds placed at the top of the ring to commemorate the streak.
Brazilian Flag
Things started off with an impressive win over the Packers in Sao Paulo, Brazil, and the team celebrated that achievement by including a Brazilian Flag above the final score from their four playoff wins.
Coach Siriani's message
We highlighted the wings that protrude from the rings, and they feature an engraved message from head coach Nick Sirianni.
"You can't be great without the greatness of others"
There are 0.9 carats on those wings to represent six sacks and three takeaways in the Super Bowl.

Detroit Tigers ace Tarik Skubal welcomes second child. Here's when his next start is
PHILADELPHIA — Between starts, Detroit Tigers left-hander Tarik Skubal celebrated something far more important than baseball with his wife, Jessica: the birth of their second child. Baby Skubal is here. Manager A.J. Hinch relayed the news about the birth, but it's up to Skubal and his wife to announce further details. Back in October 2023, they welcomed their first child, a son named Kasen. "Baby Skubal arrived," Hinch said before the opener of a three-game series Friday, Aug. 1, against the Philadelphia Phillies. "He was really happy. Everybody is healthy, which is good. He will be here ready to pitch tomorrow." ACE SPEAKS: Tigers' Tarik Skubal at 2025 All-Star Game: 'Focus is on winning a championship' As for Skubal's status, the Tigers will send the best pitcher in baseball to the mound Saturday, Aug. 2, against the Phillies at Citizens Bank Park. The 28-year-old already took the three days of paternity leave MLB permits, from July 23-25. He was scheduled to arrive in Philadelphia on Friday in preparation for Saturday's start. In Saturday's game, Skubal will lead the Tigers into a matchup against Phillies right-hander Zack Wheeler. The showdown between Skubal and Wheeler projects to be one of the best pitching matchups in the 2025 season. "I still think starting pitching matters," Hinch said, reflecting on the clash of aces in the Skubal-Wheeler matchup. "The best guys stay in the game and show us baseball in the manner in which all of us either grew up, and even some people prefer. It does matter, the pitching matchup, when the schedule can line up two big boys." After Saturday's start, Skubal is lined up for his second post-baby start Friday, Aug. 8, against the Mike Trout-led Los Angeles Angels at Comerica Park. SCOTT HARRIS: Tigers' Scott Harris dismisses idea of Tarik Skubal window, calls it 'an illusion' Skubal has a 2.09 ERA with 19 walks and 171 strikeouts across 133⅔ innings in 21 starts. The reigning American League Cy Young winer ranks first in the AL with a 2.09 ERA, trailing only Pittsburgh Pirates right-hander Paul Skenes (1.83) among all MLB pitchers. Wheeler, 35, has a 2.56 ERA with 28 walks and a National League-leading 172 strikeouts over 133⅔ innings in 21 starts. In 2024, he finished runner-up to Atlanta Braves left-hander Chris Sale in the NL Cy Young race. "I think there are probably more interesting matchups than just Cy Young Award candidates that are out there," Hinch said, "but it's good for baseball when two of the best are going to have the ball in their hand in the first inning."
