Full trade compensation for Steelers trade with Dolphins for Jalen Ramsey

There are big trades in the NFL and then there is this trade. On Monday, multiple NFL sources reported that the Pittsburgh Steelers and Miami Dolphins had finalized a trade to send All-Pro cornerback Jalen Ramsey to Pittsburgh. But wait, there's more. It was then revealed that Steelers All-Pro safety Minkah Fitzpatrick was also involved. But if that wasn't enough, the trade also includes Dolphins tight end Jonnu Smith and a swap of picks in the 2017 NFL draft.
Here's the full draft compensation and how it breaks down.
Steelers get:
2027 Seventh-round draft pick

Cornerback Jalen Ramsey
Tight end Jonnu Smith
Dolphins get:
2027 Fifth-round pick
Safety Minkah Fitzpatrick
This trade looks massive on paper and it is. But we are sure that both sides view this as a win. The Steelers got help on offense and defense, the Dolphins get Fitzpatrick back to help bolster a Ramsey-less secondary and the Steelers don't have to part with any draft capital for the 2026 NFL draft. All signs are that the Steelers are going all-in for a quarterback in the 2026 NFL draft and this trade accomplishes all their current goals without sacrificing the future in the draft.

Bengals' Zac Taylor drags Joe Burrow down in QB-coach NFL rankings

Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow is a top-five player at his position. Bengals head coach Zac Taylor, however, is not a top-five coach in the NFL right now. So says new rankings from Sports Illustrated's Matt Verderame, which aims to list the best quarterback-head coach duos in the NFL. Burrow and Taylor land just inside the top 10 at No. 9 overall: 'The Bengals might not have much defense, but they employ a good coach and a top-five quarterback. Burrow, the former No. 1 pick, had his best season in 2024, throwing for league-bests with 4,918 yards and 43 touchdowns to help Cincinnati stay in playoff contention until the final day. With Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins signed long-term, expect more fireworks for years to come.' RELATED: Cincinnati Bengals' 53-man roster projection following 2025 offseason The problem, as one should expect, is Taylor. Burrow is fourth in his respective rankings, while Taylor is 16th. It's a fair assessment, at least, as the debate continues as to whether Taylor should be on the hot seat and just how much leash the coaching staff should have on the goodwill of the recent Super Bowl appearance. For now, the Bengals will be more than happy to charge forward with a tandem that lands in the top 10 alongside the likes of Kansas City, no matter how lopsided the scale. If you're playing golf on the Fourth of July, here's one rule you need to remember

If you're playing golf on the Fourth of July, you might be on a course where all 18 pin flags have an American flag on them. This is one of the great gestures golf courses can do as we celebrate our independence. A tournament official holds a flag stick with the American flag on it on the ninth green during the 2021 NCAA Men's Golf Championship at Grayhawk Golf Club. Often, golf courses will also provide special holders called flag stands near each green.
