Netflix has brought back the smash hit, "Quarterback" series, which takes a behind-the-scenes and deeper look at some of the NFL's biggest names at the position. The first season featured Kansas City Chiefs' Patrick Mahomes, Minnesota Vikings' Kirk Cousins, and Atlanta Falcons' Marcus Mariota.

Now, the second season is coming, which not only brings back Cousins but will feature two newcomers in Cincinnati Bengals' Joe Burrow and Detroit Lions' Jared Goff.
The new trailer showcases Burrow talking about longevity in his career, though he only has five years under his belt, the idea of making it to 10 years seems like it'll happen too fast.
The trailer then pivots to Goff talking about being a member of the Lions. He also reveals more personal information about his exit from the Los Angeles Rams.

Goff also takes a shot at Tom Brady, saying, "Too bad, Tom, you're retired." Why he says that has not been revealed, but it's sure to be a big talking point.
What makes this season interesting is how it will follow Cousins. The former Vikings starter signed with the Falcons to become the starter, but things have gotten complicated since then.
There has been plenty of drama surrounding Cousins and his situation on the Falcons team. He was replaced by Michael Penix in 2024 after throwing 16 interceptions.
Cousins was apparently willing to waive his no-trade clause to be moved to another team, but that was not the case. The Falcons made it known they would move forward with the former starter as the backup for Penix in 2025.
The "Quarterback" series might highlight the 2024 season, while giving fans a deeper look at what Cousins has been dealing with since the conclusion of the 2024 season.
Cousins being a focal point for the series is certainly understood, and the Netflix series also landed two of the biggest quarterbacks in Burrow and Goff.
Burrow and Goff are not only massively popular to their respective teams and fan bases, but they are also two of the most popular quarterbacks in the entire league. The series taking a deeper look at the pair, is certainly going to make for some good TV.

One Of Stephen King's Most Intense Horror Movies Is Streaming On Netflix

The work of horror author Stephen King has inspired so many great films and shows over the years. Of course, it can be difficult to keep track of them all. Here's a recommendation for one intense Stephen King adaptation you may have missed on Netflix – which was directed by none other than Mike Flanagan. Flanagan has made a name for himself both on and off Netflix, having been involved with several exclusive films and shows for the streaming platform. With original titles that include Hush and Midnight Mass , Flanagan also helmed the theatrical King adaptation Doctor Sleep . As for Netflix, however, he chose to adapt a King story that was long considered impossible to film. The story has a very unique setting, one which sees its protagonist trapped in a singular area. Of course, that's a great opportunity to induce some psychological horror, as King's novel exceled in doing. Flanagan takes those concepts and somehow makes it all work for a cinematic interpretation. The Mike Flanagan Netflix film based on the Stephen King novel, Gerald's Game , revolves around Carla Gugino's Jessie Burlingame and her husband, Gerald, played by Bruce Greenwood. The two take a vacation at an isolated lake house. During their time there, however, the two decide to spice up their relationship with a game of bondage, which leaves Jessie cuffed to their bed. One thing leads to another and Gerald suffers a heart attack, with Jessie forced to survive as she battles her inner demons and some that may be more real than she suspects. Mike Flanagan directed Gerald's Game from a screenplay he co-wrote with Jeff Howard based on Stephen King's novel of the same name. The cast includes Carla Gugino, Bruce Greenwood, Carel Struycken, Henry Thomas, and Kate Siegel. Stay tuned to ScreenGeek for more recommendations on Netflix and other such streaming services as we have them to offer, including other Stephen King adaptations. The master of horror has contributed to many great films and shows over the years, with Gerald's Game being just one small example.

Katie Taylor quashes any doubts about rivalry with latest win over Amanda Serrano

No need for a fourth fight. This matchup has turned into a mismatch. Advertisement Katie Taylor now firmly owns this one-sided rivalry. Third time was not the charm for Amanda Serrano. Taylor won by majority decision — with scores of 95-95, 97-93 and 97-93 — Friday night at Madison Square Garden to retain her undisputed super lightweight championship in the main event of a trailblazing all-women's card. 'I just thank God my hand was raised,' Taylor said. '… I thought I did enough. I boxed smart and well and she wasn't catching much tonight, but it is always a close contest. I have a huge amount of respect for Amanda. What a warrior.' Advertisement 5 Katie Taylor celebrates after defeating Amanda Serrano in their July 11, 2025 fight. Getty Images for Netflix Serrano was adamant she was robbed by the judges after losing the first two fights of this trilogy. Now she's lost all three, and any arguments will fall on deaf ears. Advertisement Friday's snoozefest bore almost no resemblance to their first two bouts, which were action-packed and all-out wars. It's hard to pick out a single moment when Friday reached the same intensity the first two fights possessed. 5 Katie Taylor throws a punch at Amanda Serrano during her win in their July 11, 2025 bout. AP Rare flurries too often made way for large periods of inaction. Advertisement Both fighters were tentative and lacked the needed urgency to match what started as an electric atmosphere. Puerto Rican and Irish flags littered the stands, though Serrano — who was born in Puerto Rico and grew up in New York City — owned a slim hometown crowd advantage over the Irish Taylor. By the time the main event got underway, a raucous and sold-out MSG was packed to the brim for the second time in three years to watch two of the best female boxers ever. 5 Amanda Serrano (r.) attempts to land a punch during a July 11 fight against Katie Taylor. Serrano turned up the temperature in the third round by landing a few left hooks before Taylor (24-2) clinched and took the sting out of the round. Serrano's relentless offense — her trademark — was largely missing, with brief periods of effectiveness repeatedly stifled by Taylor's defense. Serrano (47-4-2) threw more punches, but Taylor landed the cleaner and more effective ones. Advertisement 5 Katie Taylor lands a punch on Amanda Serrano during her win in their July 11, 2025 bout. Getty Images for Netflix 'We tried something different,' Serrano said. 'It was all about working smarter, not harder. I tried to keep my distance because apparently [my plan] didn't worth the first two fights. So we tried to stick with the long punches and it just wasn't enough. 'Thank you to Katie Taylor for an incredible three fights. It's been truly an honor. You're a true champion, a true warrior.' The two became the first females to headline a boxing match at MSG in 2022, when Taylor won by split decision in what was dubbed by a majority of outlets as the Fight of the Year. Advertisement In November, Serrano and Taylor were the co-main event on the Jake Paul-Mike Tyson card at AT&T Stadium and delivered the most-watched pro women's sporting event in U.S. history, with 47 million viewers in the country. 5 Katie Taylor looks on during her win over Amanda Serrano on July 11, 2025. Getty Images for Netflix That bout — which Taylor won by unanimous decision — stole the show on the card and left fans craving a third matchup despite Taylor owning a 2-0 advantage in the rivalry. That is how entertaining they were. Advertisement That's how much the appetite for women's boxing has grown in recent years. That's how strong Serrano's belief was that she had been wronged on the scorecards. But the third iteration was much more like Godfather 3 than Godfather 1 or 2. Advertisement At the very least, though, it ended with a clear winner of the rivalry. 'We're historymakers forever,' Taylor said. And I'm so happy about that.'
