The design is so pervasive and striking that you might forget this sunset-shaded expanse also serves food. Erik Ramirez, the chef and an owner of Papa San, is well aware of this.
'Everything is branding nowadays,' said Mr. Ramirez, who owns two other Peruvian restaurants in New York City. For diners, 'I feel like the food element is kind of an after thought.'
A decade ago, the country's most buzzed-about restaurants were largely defined by the ambition of the food and the credentials of the chef. Now, they're all about atmosphere and appearance. For many diners who grew up in the visuals-obsessed Instagram era, a restaurant doesn't need to have a particular aesthetic — it just needs to have a memorable one.

"Using these acquired skills, I share my passion by working on the marketing team for one of the largest theme park chains in North America, home to dozens of world class coasters. "That day I rode the Wild Mouse. Not a big coaster, but it had me hooked. It changed my life. I was so curious about the way it made its way around the track and how the systems worked to control it," he said. Jacob said his fascination grew quickly. "Ever since that one day, I've become a human encyclopedia for roller coasters, learning and memorizing the heights, speeds and stats of every roller coaster I could find on the internet, and trying to conquer as many of them as I could," he said. The first roller coaster he ever rode that went upside down was Hydra the Revenge, also at Dorney Park. "I choose to start with that one because it went upside down the most time in the park, seven times, and currently at that time held the inversion record in North America," he said. Despite his comfort with extreme rides today, Jacob recalled one that once gave him pause: "I remember Intimidator 305 (now known as Pantherian), a 305-foot roller coaster at Kings Dominion in Virginia, had me a bit frightened at first, and to be honest I think that's the only time I've ever felt nervous before trying a new ride. I must have been 9 or 10 years old around then, so I've basically become immune to all those feelings of anxiety around big drops and loops." Among the coasters in his top 30, Jacob's favorite is Steel Vengeance at Cedar Point. "My favorite roller coaster of all time, Steel Vengeance, is a 205-foot RMC hyper hybrid roller coaster located at Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio. Opening originally in the 1990s as Mean Streak, the old rough wooden coaster was given new life in 2018 with its transformation into arguably the greatest roller coaster of all time." The TikToker has a particular preference for RMC Hybrid roller coasters. "A hybrid roller coaster in a traditional sense is a coaster with wooden supports and twisted steel track," he explained. "When an old wooden roller coaster gets rough and no longer draws the crowds it used to, RMC, Rocky Mountain Construction, a legendary roller coaster manufacturer based out of Idaho rips off the wooden tracks, adds steel tracks to enhance the height, speed and whip factor of the coaster, thus transforming old rides into a modern beasts of an attraction." For Jacob, the best roller coasters are not necessarily the tallest or fastest. "For most true roller coaster enthusiasts, the factors that make up a truly good roller coaster aren't the height and speed; it's a creative layout with consistent pacing, having unique elements that flow into one another without rough transitions. The most important quality of a coaster for me personally is airtime, that's the feeling where you're being lifted up out of your seat and feel multiple times lighter as the forces of gravity weaken on you." Now at 492 different roller coasters and counting—with over 5,000 total rides including re-rides—Jacob is just eight coasters away from a major milestone. "With eight more coasters I haven't ridden yet left to go before I hit 500, I'm sure by the end of the year I'll finally meet that goal. Then it's on to 1,000." Along the way, Jacob said the community of fellow enthusiasts has been a rewarding part of the experience. "I have made many great friends over the years through my travels and you'd be surprised how many others there are with my same unique hobby," he said. Thus, it came as no surprise that the 50-year-old rapper recently denied assisting Rymir Satterthwaite, Jay-Z's alleged son, with his decades-long paternity case. A YouTube account that brands itself as revealing, 'the truth behind celebrity drama, family secrets, and industry moves you were never meant to see' claimed that the G-Unit leader, 'personally reached out to Rymir and offered up his powerful legal team.' Fif caught wind of the accusation and addressed it via Instagram. 'Yo I never met this kid and I'm not helping him with anything,' he wrote in a now-deleted post. 'Keep my name out of this [sh*t] please.' The 'In Da Club' rapper never shies away from commenting on people's business, and has proudly been a thorn in Hov's side for years, so this type of act could be easy to pin on him. However, the Power executive producer is not willing to let that narrative fly. Satterthwaite, currently 31 years old, has been pursuing the Brooklyn rapper for decades, claiming that he was involved with his mother in the 90s, which led to his conception. Weeks ago, US Weekly obtained court documents revealing that Hov's legal team called Satterhwaite's lawsuit the latest effort in a 'decades-long harassment.' Satterthwaite has held firm and even accused the '99 Problems' rapper of attempting to suppress him from telling his truth. 50 Cent and Benzino have traded insults across social media, reigniting their longstanding feud. The new Instagram beef started when 50 Cent uploaded a new freestyle from Benzino. Sharing the gritty clip, the Queens native exclaimed, 'Yo this is the worst sh*t I heard this year.' He continued to write, 'F wrong with him he 60 years old bro. Nah this ain't it.' While 50 Cent is a known troll, he may have a slight point. While Benzino had the flow down, some catchy one-liners, and a confident demeanor, critiques can be made about the subject matter in the Boston rapper's brazen bars. In the song 'YNZ,' a braided Benzino raps about having 'YNs,' that 'be on some kill sh*t' and being 'married to the streets,' while he flexes his muscles in a black tank top. The original clip was filmed in Columbus, OH, as part of the Uncle Joe Podcast Mic Drop series. Catching wind of the 'Many Men' rapper's post, Benzino shared a response from the gym. 'I just put a little video out…just minding my business…I see your man Curtis posted it,' he elaborated. 'This ni**a really f**k with Zino huh?' He continued, 'I tell you what, though, the boxing challenge still there. Im down to make a couple of m's. I'll go three rounds with your goofy a**,' and also challenged 50 Cent to hop in the booth, adding, ' Why dont you see if you could put out a song better than 'YNZ.''
