Dianne took to her Instagram with recent clips of her reuniting with her granddad following her successful stint on the show.
In one heartwarming moment, Dianne surprised her grandad with a special visit in Australia.
The 99-year-old was chuffed to see his granddaughter and called her a "champion" after her Glitterball win, as they held hands and swung them side-to-side.
Sharing her heartbreak, Dianne wrote: "Rest in peace pop, you were 99 years young. Thank you for all the stories and I just know you will be up there dancing with Nan already."
Dianne's fellow Strictly pals were quick to share messages of support.
Nancy Xu wrote: " Sending you all the love," with a string of purple heart emojis.
Pro dancer Michelle Tsiak posted: "I'm so sorry for your loss Di. Sending you and your family all my love."
Vito Coppola shared a red heart and prayer emoji in the comment section.
The sad loss comes just a weeks after Dianne's grandmother died.
In March she shared a montage of clips with her late nan and wrote: "Rest in peace nan. Love you very much. I'm so grateful I was home to say goodbye to such a special lady in my life.

"Now go be with pop he has been patiently waiting for you."
Dianne has been open about her family and their health battles - including her dad's battle with cancer.
In April 2024, she shared the happy news that her father Mark has finished chemotherapy in Australia after 12 rounds of treatment.
She wrote at the time: "To my daddy you did it 6 months later and 12 rounds done.
'I am so so PROUD of you it's been a tough road but you have always done it with a smile and a thumbs up. I know you were scared and I know it was not easy but you have done it.'
She continued: 'I wish so much I could be there right now and just cuddle you,' she penned. 'You're my hero and you have made me realise we all have so much more strength then we think.
'And to my beautiful mum who has not left your side and been the best support system ever thank you. Us kids are so lucky to have you both we love you so much.
'Now we need to book that trip in back to UK for the both of you.'
Dianne first appeared on Dancing with the Stars in Australia in 2015. She then joined Strictly Come Dancing in the UK in 2017.

Lewis Capaldi announces 2025 Australian summer tour dates

Scottish pop star Lewis Capaldi will return to Australia this summer for the first time in five years. After keeping a relatively low profile for the past two years, the Someone You Loved hitmaker is back with a vengeance after a bravura set at the recent Glastonbury Festival. Keeping the momentum going, Lewis, 28, will return to Australia in December for five headlining dates. Kicking off his antipodean run with two New Zealand shows, Lewis will begin the Australian run at Brisbane Entertainment Centre on December 4, before hitting Sydney 's Qudos Bank Arena on December 6. The tour will then roll into Melbourne 's Rod Laver Arena and Adelaide Entertainment Centre on December 12 and 15, before finishing at Perth 's RAC Arena on Wednesday, December 17. Lewis, who was last in the country for the Falls Festival in 2019, left Aussie fans heartbroken when he was forced to cancel an Australian tour. To make up for the heartbreak, fans who bought tickets for the 2023 shows will have exclusive access to a past purchaser pre-sale from 11am on Thursday, July 10. Meanwhile, Secret Sounds pre-sale gets underway from 11am on Friday, July 11, while general on sale is from 12pm on Monday, July 14. News of Lewis' return to Australian shores was met with much excitement from fans on Instagram. Commenting on the Live Nation announcement, one wrote: 'The world is healing. We've missed you @lewiscapaldi.' Others were hopeful that more shows would be added with the likes of: 'One show in Melbourne won't do anything lol all the previous people will get the tickets before anyone else can.' Back in 2023, Lewis apologised profusely to Aussie fans on Instagram as he announced he would no longer be touring 'for the foreseeable future'. He was initially slated to play shows in Sydney, Perth, Adelaide and Melbourne, before heading to Byron Bay for Splendour in the Grass. However, the Scotsman cancelled all shows in Australia due to persistent struggles he was experiencing with his Tourette's symptoms. 'I'm so incredibly sorry to everyone who had planned to come to a show before the end of the year but I need to feel well to perform at the standard you all deserve,' he wrote in a lengthy message. He added: 'Playing for you every night is all I've ever dreamed of so this has been the most difficult decision of my life. I'll be back as soon as I possibly can.' The move didn't come as a shock to fans, as the Someone You Loved hitmaker had difficulties completing his 2023 Glastonbury set. Lewis became emotional during the set as his tics made it difficult to complete songs, prompting fans to sing along in a heartwarming show of support. He had taken three weeks off before his gig on the Pyramid Stage, but admitted it was not enough as he cancelled the remaining 24 live dates he had scheduled. 'I used to be able to enjoy every second of shows like this and I'd hoped three weeks away would sort me out,' he explained in his message. 'But the truth is I'm still learning to adjust to the impact of my Tourette's, and on Saturday it became obvious that I need to spend much more time getting my mental and physical health in order, so I can keep doing everything I love for a long time to come. 'I know I'm incredibly fortunate to be able to take some time out when others can't and I'd like to thank my amazing family, friends, team, medical professionals and all of you who've been so supportive every step of the way through the good times and even more during this past year when I've needed it more than ever.' Reflecting on his 2023 Glastonbury performance, Lewis – who has teamed up with BetterHelp, the world's largest online therapy platform, for a new promotional campaign – recently admitted he thought it would be the last of his career. 'I think I probably knew two songs into the set at Glastonbury that I couldn't do it,' he said. 'Glastonbury's obviously a big deal - it's kind of like the biggest deal - and it was the Pyramid Stage, so it was a big old gig. 'Second song in I was like probably like, I can't keep doing this to myself and other people as well. People are coming to gigs, it's not how you want to watch a show. And as far as I was concerned, I was like "I'm done indefinitely."' The singer-songwriter subsequently announced a hiatus from music while he prioritised his mental health, but looking back he believes he also needed a complete break from the industry as a whole. 'I didn't take a break to just focus on getting better,' he said. 'I took a break because I needed a break, and to sort of release the pressure valve a little bit.'

Robert Irwin admits he forgot to pay the bill at Australian restaurant

Robert Irwin, son of Steve Irwin, publicly apologized for accidentally leaving a restaurant in Coffs Harbour, Australia, without paying for his meal. The 21-year-old explained on Instagram that he was distracted by many fans seeking photos and autographs, causing him to forget to pay for his salad. Irwin only realized his mistake the following day and immediately contacted the Jetty Pavilion restaurant to settle the bill. The restaurant, however, declined payment, expressing understanding for the situation and asking him instead to leave a positive review. In response, Irwin used his platform to encourage his followers to support the Jetty Pavilion, promising to pay them back on his next visit.

Bankrupt influencer Christie Swadling gets married in VERY low-key ceremony after welcoming her first child with fiancé Joel Price

Christie Swadling has married her fiancé Joel Price in a very intimate ceremony. The 28-year-old influencer shared the exciting news to Instagram on Monday after marrying Joel at their home. She posted a series of sweet images of the couple reading their vows alongside their two-month-old son Rocco. 'My dream since a little girl was always to have all my kids at my wedding, and because we are not done having babies yet we decided to get married prior towards our big day,' she wrote. 'We've been engaged for 5 years already but now I'm officially a wifey & will have the same last names as my babies and I still get to have my big wedding I've dreamed of when I'm ready with no pressure whatsoever. Totally recommend!!' From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. Christie wore a long white dress while Joel looked stylish in a white knit shirt and matching coloured pants. Their newborn son looked as cute as a button in black pants, a white buttoned shirt and suspenders. Christie also shared a family video and wrote: 'Mrs Price lol BUT so glad I did this as it's taken the pressure of me to plan our wedding sooner, so I can just enjoy being a mummy and having our babies for a bit.' Christie and Joel announced the arrival of their son in May. The influencer shared a gallery of maternity content to social media, confirming she had given birth to a healthy baby boy. One heartwarming clip showed her newborn lying peacefully on her chest as they rested in the hospital's maternity ward. Christie looked focused in the sweet footage as she tenderly cradled her adorable bub. She captioned the footage with some heartfelt words: 'Only place he will sleep. I'm so in love. I had a fully unmedicated birth'. 'Birth story is wild and keen to share. But for now I'm just gonna stare at him all night and be in my newborn bubble.' The announcement came one year after Price was served with a restraining order and charged with domestic violence-related common assault. Price, 38, was served an interim Apprehended Violence Order (AVO) by NSW Police on behalf of Christie in April 2024. He pleaded not guilty to the assault charge. Daily Mail Australia understands the matter was heard in court on August 6. In 2022, Swadling filed for bankruptcy after racking up a pile of debt she can't pay back. Documents leaked online in February, 2023 showed the social media star was in financial strife, even though she projects a lavish lifestyle on social media. It was revealed she was bankrupt after an anonymous user on the Tattle Life forums paid $15 to obtain the paperwork on her bankruptcy filing. The Instagram model listed her job as an 'advertising and marketing professional' in the publicly available document filed on December 29, 2022.
