Haunted doll tour: Paranormal investigator Dan Rivera dies at 54 while showcasing Annabelle doll; cause of death unknown

Dan Rivera (Image credit: X/@OfficialATU) and Annabelle doll (Image credit: X/@GACrewFans) Dan Rivera, a well-known paranormal investigator died on Sunday while touring with the infamous Annabelle doll in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, as confirmed by his tour organisers. Rivera was a US Army veteran and lead investigator with the New England Society for Psychic Research (NESPR). He was in the middle of his 'Devils on the Run Tour' when emergency responders were called to his hotel. Despite efforts to revive him with CPR, he died at the scene. His exact cause of death remains unknown, New York post reported. Rivera was known for his appearances on paranormal television shows, including the Travel Channel's 'Most Haunted Places,' and for producing Netflix's '28 Days Haunted.' He was touring with NESPR members to display Annabelle, a supposedly haunted doll made famous by paranormal legends. The tour had just completed a three-day sold-out stop in Gettysburg from Friday through Sunday, hosted at the Soldiers National Orphanage by Ghostly Images of Gettysburg Tours. Rivera often used social media, including popular TikTok videos, to promote the tour and share paranormal stories with a wide audience. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Đây có thể là thời điểm tốt nhất để giao dịch vàng trong 5 năm qua IC Markets Tìm hiểu thêm Undo Fellow paranormal investigator Ryan Buell paid tribute to Rivera. 'I have so many amazing memories with this guy. Just as recently as two months ago, we traveled around the country and introduced a whole new generation to Ed and Lorraine Warren's legacy,' Buell wrote on TikTok. Annabelle is linked to stories dating back to the 1970s. The Warrens claimed the doll was demonically possessed and responsible for disturbing activities, including moving on its own and causing harm. They moved it to the Connecticut museum for safekeeping. Ed and Lorraine Warren, who founded NESPR in 1952, gained fame investigating cases like the Amityville Horror. Their work inspired 'The Conjuring' film series. After the deaths of Ed in 2006 and Lorraine in 2019, their daughter Judy and son-in-law Tony Spera took over the museum and NESPR. The museum closed to the public in 2019 due to local government regulations.

Watch: Vlogger Leaves Restaurant After Eating Only Free Bread On Table. Internet Has A Lot To Say

A content creator recently went viral for entering a restaurant and leaving immediately after eating the free bread provided at the table. The stunt has received a range of reactions online, with some calling it "courageous" and others finding it insensitive to staff. The now-viral reel was shared by a vlogger named Keith (@yung_earn) and was filmed in Johannesburg. At the beginning of the clip, he reads out a comment in which a social media user challenges him to "go to a restaurant but only eat the free bread that they give and then leave." Keith first wonders if one is allowed to do that, but decides to attempt exactly that. He goes to "one of the fanciest and most expensive restaurants" he could find. At the entry, he asks a staff member if they permit walk-ins. They do, so he requests a table for one. After he is shown to his seat, he narrates that the server asked him if he wanted a specific type of water, which would apparently cost him 80 rand (approx Rs 383). Keith declines and asks for tap water instead. "He didn't look happy that I said glass of water," the vlogger says to the camera. He got his water and was then served the free bread. After he took a few bites, the waiter returned to check on what he would order. He replied, "To be honest, I think the bread has made me full already. I don't think I'll order anything." That's not all. He also requested the waiter to pack the remaining bread as a takeaway, and he obliged. The content creator thanked him, took his parcel and then left the restaurant. Some were impressed and reacted positively. Others claimed that such a stunt is disrespectful, as they felt he took advantage of the staff unfairly. The spot he visited is called The Big Mouth in Johannesburg. The restaurant seemed to take it in its stride, however, as it commented, "Hey Keith, your Big Mouth sure knows how to make a statement - but how about we make sure it's full of flavour next time? Let's upgrade that bread to a meal you won't forget, on us!" Read some of the reactions of Instagram users below: "Bro's a breadwinner." "Bro ate and left no crumbs." "This challenge was simply diabolical." "I swear you are giving me ideas." "They handled it with decorum, though. I respect that." "Na man!!! You are one brave soul to try that." "I would be embarrassed to do that." "I work at the square, it's allowed according to company laws, but as a human being who has been in the same position as your waiter, that's heartless, especially since it is winter and business has been slow." The viral video has clocked more than 440K views on Instagram so far.

Karnataka moves to cap movie tickets at Rs 200

In an effort to make cinema more accessible to the public, the Karnataka government on Tuesday issued draft rules capping movie ticket prices across the state at Rs 200, inclusive of entertainment tax , reported TOI. According to the report, stakeholders have been given 15 days to raise any objections or suggestions. If none are received within this period, the draft will be notified as final. The proposed rules eliminate all distinctions between seating categories—such as balcony or premium seats—by removing the provision in the Act that allowed classification. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like 중년 나이 될수록 늘어나는 "내장지방" 굳기 전에 녹여 남재현 체지방 다이어트 더 알아보기 Undo — Karthikravivarm (@Karthikravivarm) This means that every seat in a theatre or multiplex, regardless of location or amenities, must now be sold at a uniform price of Rs 200.
