Frankie Grande Has Released His Debut Album And Received Sage Advice From Sister Ariana

Frankie Grande, the elder brother of pop sensation and Oscar-nominee Ariana Grande, has released a debut album entitled 'Hotel Rock Bottom'. It is inspired by his sobriety journey and was released in tandem with Pride month. 'I'm eight years sober,' he told ITV News. 'Had I tried to release an album while I was drinking and using, I probably would have never released it, it probably would never have seen the light of day. If it did, god knows what it would have sounded like. I'm grateful that I took my time and waited until my instrument was clean and pure, and I could tell the stories that I wanted to tell.' Frankie, 42, is an American actor, singer, dancer, television host and producer who boasts 1 million Instagram followers and 1.5M TikTok followers. He performed on Broadway as Franz in the musical Rock of Ages (2014–2015) and in Mamma Mia! (2007–2010) and has also starred in regional theatre productions. In 2014, he was a contestant on series 16 of Big Brother , and in 2023, he was a contestant on Big Brother Reindeer Games . Frankie Grande and Ariana Grande at the Paris Olympics in 2024. (Photo: IMAGO) He recently celebrated the launch of his album at London Pride. 'It's a beautiful place with so many people of different backgrounds,' he told ITV News. 'The LGBTQ+ community has always been so accepted here, especially in music. I do think you have broken many queer artists here before the United States.' Frankie spoke openly about how supportive his family has been, both about his sexuality and his sobriety journey. 'I'm so blessed that I have such an amazingly accepting family who has allowed me to be my authentic self and supported me through some of the difficulties of being a public figure who is out, loud and proud!' 'As someone who has the privilege to be this gay publicly,' he continued, 'I'm really grateful to be handing the microphone, and I'm hoping to inspire younger people to feel empowered and to be themselves authentically.' Frankie says his younger sister Ariana, who is one of the leads in the mega-hit Wicked , has given him some sage advice about his music career. 'She's been unbelievable throughout this process. I think the thing she's learnt throughout her many years in the music industry is to trust her gut. For me, as a fledgling artist, I am scared to trust my gut; I will overthink things if I'm allowed to. I learnt from her to trust your gut, and it will lead you on the path that you are supposed to go down.' His new music, including singles like 'Boys' and 'Rhythm of Love' can be found on Spotify and other streaming platforms. Also supporting Frankie's music career all the way is his husband-of-three years Hale Leon. The pair was married by Frankie's mother, Joan Grande, at the Grande family home in Boca Raton, Florida, in a small, Star Wars -themed ceremony on 4 May 2022. Ariana once described them as 'two very incredible and cosmically destined souls'. Hale Leon, 33, is a model, actor and influencer. After their wedding, Frankie posted on Instagram to write: 'I can't wait to share all of these amazing stories, pics and videos with you all slowly as we get them, but for now, let me just say I am the happiest I've ever been. I'm married to the man of my dreams, our families have merged together so beautifully, and we are well on our way to happily ever after. I love you Hale Grande. I am so so honored to be your husband.' Nikki Peach is a writer at Grazia UK, working across entertainment, TV and news. Charlize Theron, 49, details 'amazing' one-night stand with a 26-year-old

Charlize Theron has spoken candidly about her sex life aged 49, revealing she recently had sex with a 26-year-old man – and it was 'f***ing amazing'. Theron also said she was having the 'kind of sex I never had in my twenties or in my thirties'. The Oscar-winning actress, known for her roles in Mad Max: Fury Road and Monster, shared that despite being single and focused on raising her two adopted daughters, she is very satisfied with her sex life. 'I've probably had three one-night stands in my entire life. But I did just recently f*** a 26-year-old and it was really f***ing amazing,' she told host Alex Cooper on the Call Her Daddy podcast. 'I've never done that. And I was like, 'Oh, this is great. OK.'' Cooper then joked that the man in question was 'the luckiest man walking on this goddamned planet' who would be 'walking different today' knowing he'd been intimate with Theron, to which she laughed: 'He for sure is not, but thank you.' While the South African-born star, who was previously in relationships with actor Stuart Townsend from 2001 to 2009 and Sean Penn from 2013 to 2015, said she hadn't made a habit of having one-night stands in her life, she was clear he had no regrets about embracing them now. 'I don't have many of them, I'm sitting here sounding like I do. So when I do, I'm like, 'Oh, f*** yeah, I should have done this in my twenties.'' She went on: 'I was married from the time that I was like having sex to the time that I had my last relationship. Then I had children. Who has f***ing time for dates and shaving and waxing and make-up? And I've got two children that have to go to school.' She adopted her first daughter Jackson in March 2012 and then August in June 2015, announcing in 2019, that Jackson, then seven, was transgender. The actress, who is in new Netflix film The Old Guard 2, also emphasised that being single has allowed her to explore sex in a way she hadn't previously. 'I'm having sex now for the first time, like I never had before, because I'm not in relationships,' the FX star shared – who will be seen next summer in Sir Christopher Nolan's upcoming adaptation of The Odyssey. 'That part has been really exciting. But I'm not missing a relationship. I'm not missing the partnership that I think people think you miss when you're me.' In terms of sex advice when she was asked to proffer it, Theron was equally candid saying she'd observed that 'women who come across as confident, women who come across as outspoken, ones that wouldn't speak up for themselves tend to also be, in bed, people who want to please males'. 'And I have found this in my experiences with talking to other women about this,' she continued. 'Isn't it strange? We should be the ones that are like, 'F**k you. I'm gonna have an orgasm.' And yet I, my whole life, was so concerned about [pleasing].' After Cooper agreed it had been the same for her, Theron continued: 'Okay, so my advice would be this. Don't f***ing do that – for two reasons. You're gonna have better orgasms and guess what? Your man's gonna like that.' She added that she 'found this freedom' in her forties. Theron also recently made headlines for slamming the star-studded excess of billionaire Jeff Bezos and fiancée Lauren Sánchez's three‑day £40million Venice wedding. More Trending The guestlist was a who's who, including the likes of Leonardo DiCaprio, Tom Brady, Oprah Winfrey, Ivanka Trump, Bill Gates, Orlando Bloom and Kim Kardashian. The actress quipped at her fifth annual Block Party for the Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project over the weekend: 'I think we might be the only people who did not get an invite to the Bezos wedding.' After giggles and applause from the audience, with a deadpan expression, she added: 'But that's OK, because they suck and we're cool.' Got a story? Inflation could not end sooner for Javier Milei

In Wild Tales, one of the most famous Argentine films of recent years, the character played by the actor Ricardo Darin decries the cost of a birthday cake he is buying for his daughter. 'Is it imported?' he asks the women behind the counter, a nod towards the eye-wateringly high cost of imported goods in Argentina. At the end of May, in a case of life-imitating-art, Darin inadvertently sparked a row with Javier Milei's government over the cost of another staple foodstuff: the empanada. Appearing on La Noche de Mirtha, a cozy evening talk show, Ricardo Darin decried their cost, saying a dozen empanadas can now easily cost 48,000 pesos – roughly equivalent to £30. This off-the-cuff statement prompted a rebuke from the country's economy minister and a slather of abuse from online libertarians. It was a rare intervention from someone who – unusual as this is for an Argentine – has always kept his cards close to his chest politically. Darin is undoubtedly one of Argentina's most successful actors, starring in the Oscar-winning The Secret in Their Eyes, which was subject to a disappointing English-language remake starring Julia Roberts and Nicole Kidman, and he is currently helming the Netflix series El Eternauta. That even he put his head above the parapet is perhaps a sign of patience with Milei's government wearing thin among some sections of society. Empanadas, meant to be a cheap and affordable snack, are a good barometer for how much prices have risen. Darin's comments came during a discussion about Milei's latest attempt to get Argentines' dollars out of their mattresses and into the country's banks. 'Who are they talking about? A dozen empanadas costs 48,000 pesos, so I don't understand what they're talking about, there are a lot of people who are having a very hard time,' Darin said. A key pledge of Milei's campaign was dollarisation of the economy; the abolishment of the peso and adoption of the US dollar. These plans appear to have been put on ice. For now, Argentina lacks sufficient reserves of foreign currency to turn them into reality. This is part of the reason for Milei's latest gambit to try and get the informal dollars held by Argentines into the system. Official estimates suggest Argentines own around $270 billion outside of the formal system. While much of this is held in foreign bank accounts, a good deal is estimated to be kept in cash. Distrustful of domestic banks since the 2001 economic crisis in which the public was blocked from withdrawing their savings before the peso was devalued, this has been the saving method of choice for most Argentines since. Milei hopes to coax this money back into the system. A tax amnesty last year gave the economy an $18 billion boost, but now he plans to go further. Anyone paying dollars into the system will not be required to account for where they got the cash. Unsurprisingly, this has been described as a money launderer's dream by several analysts. While the empanada row with Darin might suggest a frustration with regression of living standards under Milei, there is evidence that the libertarian president has some rope left. In regional elections earlier in May, his party won its first salvo in its bid to crush the centre right. Manuel Adorni, Milei's official spokesman, won the regional elections in Buenos Aires, traditionally a centre-right stronghold. Milei's La Libertad Avanza party doubled its vote count compared to the previous elections in 2023. Inflation, too, seems to be abating. Monthly inflation slowed to its lowest level in more than five years in May: 1.5 per cent. Wholesale prices even fell 0.3 per cent. Argentina is preparing for midterm elections in October this year. These are crucial for Milei. Will he solidify his position and cast off the need for compromise? Or will voters who are feeling the pinch choose to punish him?
