Anna Kendrick, Adam Driver & More Star in Chris Rock's Next Movie
Rosalind Eleazar (Slow Horses) has been cast as the lead role of Misty Green in Chris Rock's first feature for A24.
The project, which is currently untitled, sees Rock starring in and helming from his script.
Others newly aboard to star include Anna Kendrick (Another Simple Favor), Adam Driver (Megalopolis), and Daniel Kaluuya (Judas and the Black Messiah).
Currently in production in Los Angeles, the movie follows Misty Green, a gifted actress with a derailed career until someone from her past offers her a chance at a comeback.
Character details for Driver, Kaluuya, and Kendrick are under wraps.
Peter Rice, Rock and David Worthen Brooks are producing, with Nelson George, Shaum Sengupta and Miles Alva exec producing.
Best known for her role of Louisa Guy on Apple's Emmy-winning series "Slow Horses," led by Gary Oldman, Eleazar also recently starred in Netflix's "Harben Coben," and thriller "Missing You".
Other TV credits include "Class of '09" (FX) alongside Brian Tyree Henry and Kate Mara; "Deep Water" (ITV) with Anna Friel; the Starz miniseries Howards End with Matthew Macfadyen and Hayley Atwell; Rellik (BBC1) with Richard Dormer; and "Harlots" (Hulu/ITV) opposite Liv Tyler, Lesley Manville and Jessica Brown Findlay. Also seen in Armando Iannucci's "The Personal History of David Copperfield".
Most recently seen starring in Michael Mann's "Ferrari" and Francis Ford Coppola's "Megalopolis," Driver's upcoming slate also includes Jim Jarmusch's "Father Mother Sister Brother," which is premiering at the Venice Film Festival; James Gray's "Paper Tiger," where he stars opposite Scarlett Johansson and Miles Teller; and the Apple series "The Dealer," where he's set to star opposite Jessica Chastain.

"A Quiet Place 3" Lands 2027 Release Date, John Krasinski Returns as Director
Yara Sameh John Krasinski is returning as the director, writer, and producer of 'A Quiet Place Part III.' The cast is not confirmed at this time, so it's unclear if Emily Blunt, Noah Jupe and Millicent Simmonds, who co-starred with Krasinski in the first film, will return. Plot details of the sequel are being kept under wraps, but we're going out on a limb to guess that they involve alien creatures with very sharp hearing, and human beings who have to evade them on tiptoe while using their inside voices. Paramount Pictures will release 'A Quiet Place Part III' in theaters on July 9, 2027. Krasinski and Allyson Seeger's Sunday Night Productions, which has a first-look deal with the studio, is producing along with Platinum Dunes. Krasinski directed the first two films in the 'Quiet Place' franchise, with Michael Sarnoski directing the 2024 spin-off 'A Quiet Place: Day One.' The series has grossed over $900 million. Krasinski also directed the family comedy 'IF' for Paramount, but the film was a box office disappointment. Krasinski got his start on the NBC sitcom 'The Office.' He also starred in the Amazon Prime series 'Jack Ryan' and appeared in such films as 'It's Complicated,' 'Promised Land' and '13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi.' He most recently starred opposite Natalie Portman in 'Fountain of Youth' for Apple Original Films. Krasinski announced his involvement on the third 'Quiet Place' film on Instagram. Apple Ships 3 Bln iPhones
Rana Atef Apple announced that it has shipped its three billionth iPhone. Tim Cook announced the news during a call for the company's third-quarter earnings. The company released the first iPhone in 2007 and sold its billionth iPhone in 2016. So, the audience can guess that the company has shipped its two billionth sometime in 2021, and now, only four years later, it has reached the new milestone. Apple's CEO said the iPhone enjoyed a double-digit growth in the third quarter and that the company earned $94 billion in revenue, up 10 percent year over year. Apple expert Mark Gurman suggested that iPhone sales over the past quarter were driven by people who bought one out of fear that the device would be out of their reach in the future due to Trump's tariffs. Margot Robbie in Talks to Lead & Produce Tim Burton's "Attack of the Fifty Foot Woman"Remake
Yara Sameh Margot Robbie is in early negotiations to join Tim Burton's remake of 'Attack of the Fifty Foot Woman' for Warner Bros. If the deal closes, Robbie would produce the remake with LuckyChap partners Tom Ackerley and Josey McNamara with an eye to star. News broke last February that Burton was working on a reimagining of the 1958 science-fiction horror movie, which follows a wealthy heiress who grows into a giant after an alien encounter and exacts revenge on her cheating husband. 'The Nightmare Before Christmas' creator planned to direct, as well as produce alongside Andrew Mittman and Tommy Harper. Kai Dolbashian serves as executive producer. 'Gone Girl' writer Gillian Flynn penned a first draft of the screenplay, but has since exited the project due to other commitments. The producing team is currently searching for a new writer, and Robbie's involvement as the lead actor would depend on the final version. The potential collaboration would be a union between two of Warner Bros.' most successful recent collaborators. The studio was eager to continue doing business with LuckyChap following the success of the Oscar-winning 'Barbie' — the highest-grossing movie of 2023 with $1.45 billion globally, as well as the biggest film in the studio's 100-year history — and signed the company to a multi-year, first-look feature film deal to collaborate on future projects.
