With former Benjamin Russell star and Pro Football Hall of Fame receiver Terrell Owens one of many on hand, Morgan chose Alabama over offers from Auburn, Georgia, Florida, Clemson and Colorado.
"This is the only program I wanted to be a part of since I was younger," Morgan said after donning a white Crimson Tide jersey.
What is Alabama getting in Morgan?
"A straight dog," he said after his commitment. "I'm coming to produce as a freshman and get (Alabama) back to the national championship."
Listed at 6-foot-4, 210 pounds, 247Sports ranks Morgan as the nation's No. 2 wide receiver in the class of 2026 and the No. 11 player overall. He entered the day as the top recruit in the state of Alabama.

Morgan's decision gives Alabama 17 hard commitments in its 2026 class. Morgan is the eighth offensive player to commit to the Crimson Tide, who have risen dramatically in the latest recruiting rankings after adding 12 of those commits since June 1.
Since June 23, Alabama has added 5-star EDGE Xavier Griffin from Gainesville (Ga.), 5-star running back Ezavier Crowell (Jackson, Ala.), 4-star tight end Mack Sutter from Dunlap, Ill., and 3-star recruits Javari Barnett (running back, Tampa), Rihyael Kelley (safety, Cincinnati), Zay Hall (linebacker; Hillcrest High School in Tuscaloosa), and Owen Cabell (wide receiver, Nashville).
Alabama on Monday picked up a commitment from 6-foot-4, 185-pound receiver Brian Williams, a three-star recruit from Orlando.
With the Crimson Tide's recent run in recruiting, 247Sports and On3 now ranked Alabama with the No. 6 overall class in 2026.

Georgia football lands 4-star WR over 3 SEC rivals
The post Georgia football lands 4-star WR over 3 SEC rivals appeared first on ClutchPoints. Two months ahead of the 2025 college football season, Georgia landed its next major class of 2026 recruit. Kirby Smart continued the never-ending recruiting process by adding four-star receiver Craig Dandridge to the Bulldogs' evolving offense. Advertisement Dandridge committed to Georgia over offers from Tennessee, Oklahoma, Florida, Georgia Tech and Stanford, On3 Sports' Hayes Fawcett reported. The athletic wideout is rated as the 38th-best wide receiver prospect of the class by 247 Sports. Upon landing in Athens, Dandridge will be a part of Georgia's new offensive era. The Bulldogs' current top wideouts — Zachariah Branch, Dillon Bell, Noah Thomas and Colbie Thomas — are all expected to leave after the 2025 season. Georgia's current group of young receivers includes four-star freshmen CJ Wiley, Talyn Taylor and Landon Roldan. Three-star prospects Tyler Williams and Thomas Blackshear are also competing for snaps. Craig Dandridge joins Georgia football's class of 2026 Joshua L. Jones / USA TODAY NETWORK via Imagn Images Dandridge is only the latest recruit to join Georgia's 2026 college football recruiting class. The Bulldogs' incoming class is currently a top-three group in the country, led by five-star quarterback Jared Curtis. Advertisement Coming off a disappointing 2024 season, Smart has been active in recruiting during the 2025 offseason. Georgia has not let off the gas, seemingly obtaining a new high-profile recruit every few days. While the hype for the 2026 season is already high, Georgia will have to get through a challenging 2025 season. After losing quarterback Carson Beck in the transfer portal, the Bulldogs have a massive question to answer under center. They are currently slated to have former backup Gunner Stockton take over, despite how poorly he played in Beck's stead in the 2024 postseason. In addition to Beck, Georgia also lost defensive stars Mykel Williams, Jalon Walker and Malaki Starks, who were all taken in the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft. Offensive linemen Dylan Fairchild and Tate Ratledge also departed, along with running back Trevor Etienne. The draft departures added to the Bulldogs' transfer portal losses, setting up substantial changes on both sides of the ball. Alabama football stays hot on recruiting trail with 2026 WR
The post Alabama football stays hot on recruiting trail with 2026 WR appeared first on ClutchPoints. It took the Alabama football team a little while to heat up on the recruiting trail, but it has arrived. The Crimson Tide have heated up, and they kept the momentum going on Monday with a commitment from three-star 2026 wide receiver Owen Cabell. Cabell was getting heavy interest from schools in the Big Ten and SEC as Illinois and Vanderbilt were also high on his list, but he chose Alabama. Head coach Kalen DeBoer is getting the job done in the 2026 class right now. Advertisement 'BREAKING: Class of 2026 WR Owen Cabell has Committed to Alabama, he tells me for @rivalsrecruits,' Hayes Fawcett said in a post. 'The 6'3 205 WR from Nashville, TN chose the Crimson Tide over Illinois and Vanderbilt.' Owen Cabell kept it short and sweet upon his commitment to the Alabama football team: 'All Glory to GOD!! Roll Tide!!' He said. Cabell is a three-star recruit, according to 247Sports. He is the #1,046 player in the 2026 recruiting class, the #165 WR and the #37 player in the state of Tennessee. Cabell currently attends CPA High School in Nashville, TN. He does have an offer from Tennessee, but Alabama was the right fit. Advertisement Like most years, the Alabama football team is recruiting at an incredibly high level. Kalen DeBoer didn't have a great first year on the gridiron with the Crimson Tide as Alabama failed to win 10 games for the first time since 2007, but he is doing a good job on the recruiting trail. If DeBoer continues to bring elite talent to Tuscaloosa, the program should be fine. Following this commitment from Owen Cabell, the Crimson Tide now have the #8 recruiting class in the country, according to 247Sports. Alabama has landed commitments from two five-stars, eight four-stars and five three-stars. When all is said and done in the 2026 class, the Crimson Tide will likely have one of the best hauls in the country. Alabama football's ridiculous recruiting run continues with 5-star WR
The post Alabama football's ridiculous recruiting run continues with 5-star WR appeared first on ClutchPoints. There are a few programs that are hot on the recruiting trail right now, but no one is doing a better job than the Alabama football team. The Crimson Tide are scorching hot, and they added yet another five-star on Wednesday. Elite 2026 wide receiver Cederian Morgan just announced his decision, and he is going to play for head coach Kalen DeBoer and Alabama. Florida, Georgia and Colorado were other top options for Morgan, but the Crimson Tide got the job done. Advertisement 'BREAKING: Five-Star WR Cederian Morgan has Committed to Alabama, he tells me for @rivals,' Hayes Fawcett said in a post. 'The No. 2 WR in the '26 Class chose the Crimson Tide over Florida, Georgia, & Colorado.' The Alabama native is feeling good after his decision to play for the Crimson Tide: 'Bama made, Bama raised, Bama stayed!!!! RTR,' he said. Cederian Morgan is a five-star recruit, according to 247Sports. He is the #11 player in the 2026 recruiting class, the #2 WR and the #1 player in the state of Alabama. Morgan currently attends Benjamin Russell High School in Alexander City, AL. He is staying home. Advertisement 'Evaluation echoes that of a luxury sports car: big, smooth, and powerful,' Morgan's scouting report reads. 'Plays with obvious horsepower, accompanied by some encouraging physical refinement and nuance in regards to fluidity and locomotion. Dominant in contested scenarios as a consistent high pointer who exploits significant physical advantages vs. smaller defenders. Owns an enormous catch radius that gives a QB a large target throughout the route tree. Immensely productive with huge receiving numbers and even some limited defensive reps.' Alabama is getting a player that is good enough to quickly make a major impact on the program, and one with pro potential as well. 'Excellent multi-sport profile that includes averaging a double-double in hoops, an Alabama 6A high jump silver medal (6-8), and a 21.74 200-meter rep,' the scouting report adds. 'Size and track speed suggests that another top-end gear in pads exists, and therefore consistent downfield separation ability. Shows encouraging short-to-intermediate route snap and leveraging ability, especially considering size. Uniquely gifted pass-catching target with outstanding physical tools and athletic chops. Projects as a high-major impact player with traits that suggest long-term NFL Draft high-round potential.' The Alabama football team got off to a slow start recruiting the 2026 class, but the Crimson Tide now have one of the best classes in the country. Alabama has landed three five-stars recruits, eight four-stars and six three-stars. The class is currently ranked #6 in the country, according to 247Sports. When the 2026 cycle is all wrapped up, the Crimson Tide might finish with a top-five class.
