The move underscores the increasing importance of robust, technology-driven logistics in powering the country's evolving consumer economy.
Prozo, which integrates warehousing, freight, and fulfilment through a single tech-enabled platform, enables businesses to scale with speed, reliability and control.
Represented exclusively by RISE Worldwide, Sharma's investment highlights the rising synergy between sports and entrepreneurial ecosystems, especially those built on performance and precision.
According to a Deloitte India report, the digital commerce market in India is set to surpass $350 billion by 2030, driven by a boom in direct-to-consumer brands, omnichannel retail, and rapid logistics digitisation. In such a competitive environment, supply chains have become crucial to delivering seamless customer experiences and ensuring business continuity.

Founded in 2016 by Dr Ashvini Jakhar — a former Naval doctor and McKinsey consultant — Prozo operates 42 warehouses spanning 2.2 million square feet, delivering to over 24,000 pin codes across the country. With a revenue run-rate of ?250 crore, the company has secured $20 million in funding, backed by investors including Sixth Sense Ventures and Jafco Asia.

Sitharaman proposes partnering with European Investment Bank on digitalization
Finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Tuesday met Nadia Calvino, president of the European Investment Bank (EIB) Group, and proposed partnering with the bank to take India's digitization expertise to third countries. They met on the sidelines of the Fourth International Conference on Financing for Development (FFD4) in Seville, Spain. Discussions were held on wide-ranging issues, including EIB's expanding portfolio in India—seven metro projects and an urban rail project—and diversifying in other sectors such as water and sanitation. Digital diplomacy Recognizing India's strength in digitalization and its role in promoting economic growth and inclusivity, the finance minister and Calvino also discussed the scope for partnering in third countries in this field and other areas. 2036 Olympic Games bid: Ahmedabad officially put forward as host city as Indian delegation meets with IOC in Lausanne
Just days after the International Olympic Committee (IOC) paused the process of selecting hosts for future Games, an Indian delegation met the top brass of the world body in Lausanne on Tuesday, confirming – for the first time officially – that Ahmedabad is the country's choice to stage 'a future edition' of the mega event. The high-level group that made its way to Switzerland included representatives of the union sports ministry, the Gujarat government, as well as Indian Olympic Association (IOA) president PT Usha. The process was conducted despite new IOC chief Kirsty Coventry announcing in her first media interaction recently that the process to select host cities has been halted as members wanted more say in the matter. With Brisbane hosting the 2032 edition, 2036 is the next Summer Games on the table, and India has officially announced its bid. 'The discussions provided a vital platform for the Indian delegation to articulate their vision for hosting a future Olympic Games in Amdavad (Ahmedabad). Concurrently, they gained invaluable insights from the IOC regarding the requirements for the Olympic Games and its ambitions for the future of the Olympic Movement,' a press release from the touring party said. Though it had been widely believed that Ahmedabad was the government's choice to host the Olympics, it's the first time it has been officially communicated to the IOC. The release added that an Olympics in India would 'serve as a catalyst to elevate Indian sport, offering 600 million young Indians their first opportunity to witness the Olympics on home soil. It would be a generational springboard for socio-economic development, innovation, education, and youth pride, advancing both India and the Olympic Movement. The bid embraces the Indian ideal of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam – the world is one family – and will welcome the world as one during the Games.' Gujarat sports minister Harsh Sanghavi said hosting the Olympics will be a significant development for the state. 'We are eager to be a true partner to the IOC in the coming months of this process and, hopefully, in the years to come, as we work together to realise this shared ambition,' he said after the interaction. Usha stated: 'The Olympic Games in India would not just be a spectacular event, they would be one of generational impact for all Indians.' Apart from India, Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, Turkey and Chile are said to be among the other bidders for the 2036 Summer Olympic and Paralympic Games. The ongoing process to select future hosts was deemed to be on pause as IOC members expressed reservations about the current rules, in which they have virtually no say. Coventry said a working group will be formed to 'review how the future hosts are selected and when'. 'There was overwhelming support from the IOC members for a pause to be done and a review of the future host election process and we will be setting up a working group to look into this,' Coventry had said after chairing her maiden Executive Board meeting in Lausanne. 'Firstly, members want to be more engaged in the process and secondly, there was a very big discussion on when the next host will be awarded.'

'What was the problem is bowling to Zach Crawley and bowling to Ben Duckett who are partners. They both have different reach," he explained. 'So, first of all, you need to have adjustment between right-hand, left-hand combination. Obviously, that's a line which you need to adjust as a bowler in a same over. Suppose if I'm bowling first ball to Zach Crawley, he will change the strike to Ben Duckett and in the second ball, Ben Duckett will come to the crease." 'The similar length which Zach Crawley plays on the front foot, exactly the same length Ben Duckett is cutting. So, adjusting the particular length is very very important and that's the key for all our success in the history when you go to SENA countries because the pitches are true. You need to actually bowl that right length," he added. Irfan said that bowling the right length has to vary depending on the batter at the crease and that it what the Indian bowlers could not do and hopes that can be improved upon. 'But bowling the right length according to the batsmen which is very important which I think we lacked in the first game. Hopefully, we will come back stronger and adjust that. And I'm saying that if you look at his wagon wheel also, Ben Duckett plays square on the offside, square on the leg side, not so much in the weak," he said. 'But at the same time, Zach Crawley takes out the big front foot trying to cover that line and swing. So, adjusting the line and the length according to the batsmen and according to that particular pitch is very important which I think will be the key going ahead as well," Irfan added.
