Revealed: Every Irish Premiership fixture for the upcoming 2025/26 campaign
Defending champions Linfield will get their title defence up and running with a home clash against Irish Cup holders Dungannon Swifts on Saturday, August 9 after the Sports Direct Premiership's fixtures for the 2025/26 campaign were released on Monday morning.
Glentoran, meanwhile, will begin what they hope will be a title challenge at Shamrock Park when they take on Portadown, with Nathan Rooney's Larne setting out on their quest to wrestle back the Gibson Cup when they travel to fellow title hopefuls Coleraine.

The Rangers goalkeeper has joined Championship club Dunfermline with the aim gaining vital first team experience. 'He's very good,' said Lennon of the 6'3'' Munn, who is under contract at Rangers until 2028. 'He's got good size and he's a good shot-stopper. He is very talented and he needs to play. 'A bit like Tobi was last season, it's a young, quality goalkeeper coming in. 'I like his size. We've worked with big goalkeepers before and sometimes they make saves other goalkeepers can't make. 'We're pleased to have him and I think he's pleased to be here – and hopefully it's a marriage of convenience for both.' Donaghadee man joined the Gers from Glentoran in 2022, making his first team debut in 5-0 win over Fraserburgh in the Scottish Cup earlier this year. He is under contract at Ibrox until 2028. The 19 year-old's father Jon Munn was a talented Amateur League goalkeeper, spending the majority of his career with Millisle outfit Abbey Villa with a brief stint in the Irish League with Ards. Munn's Rangers teammate Ross McCausland is edging towards a permanent Ibrox exit. The Northern Ireland international has been linked with several MLS clubs, with St Louis City now emerging as favourites to secure the winger's signature. Elsewhere, League One outfit Plymouth Argyle have joined Blackpool in the race to sign Nottingham Forest and Northern Ireland forward Dale Taylor. There's also more bad news for another Northern Ireland international. Cambridge United striker Shayne Lavery will miss the first month of the season with a hamstring problem. The injury may rule the ex-Linfield man out of September's World Cup Qualifiers with Luxembourg and Germany.
