August 16: Packers at Colts – 1:00 p.m. ET
August 23: Packers vs. Seahawks – 4:00 p.m. ET (NFL Network)
Colin Cowherd lists the top 10 teams post NFL free agency. Hear why the Super Bowl Champion Philadelphia Eagles top the list. How will the Packers do this season?
Carmen Vitali predicts that the Packers will finish the year at 10-7. Here's Vitali:
"I don't see a significant change for the Packers, and that's a good thing. It should be enough to again get them into the playoffs, even if it's via Wildcard. The schedule is really going to be an uphill battle with the NFC North having to play the AFC North and NFC East this season in an absolute gauntlet. On top of that, the Packers get Carolina, Arizona and Denver, all of which should be at the very least respectable if not downright good in 2025. With the additions along the offensive line and an actual first-round receiver for the first time since Jordy Nelson in 2008, quarterback Jordan Love should have the means to stay healthy and be productive. The defense has to take another step forward, especially in the pass rush, if it wants to contend. But the Packers are the most stable organization in this division, if not the conference. They're going to be a tough out, regardless."

Contract secured, Courtland Sutton wants to help Broncos return to glory
Courtland Sutton spoke to media members on Tuesday after agreeing to a four-year contract extension with the Denver Broncos on Monday. First things, first, Sutton had a lengthy thank you list that included Jesus Christ, agent Jacob Presser, manager Daniel Gresham, Broncos owner/CEO Greg Penner (and the entire ownership group), general manager George Paton, VP of football administration Rich Hurtado and head coach Sean Payton. "I'm just grateful," Sutton said. "I have a heart of gratitude for this opportunity, and I'm just grateful." Following Tuesday's practice, Payton said Sutton is "everything you want in a pro." "[H]e epitomizes what we're looking for," Payton said. "Then you match that with his play, and I mean just each box you're checking, leadership, work ethic. I'm excited for him and for the club." Sutton, 29, joined the Broncos in 2018, and he endured six losing seasons to begin his career. Last year, in Payton's second season, Denver had a breakthrough and returned to the playoffs for the first time since they won the Super Bowl following the 2015 season. Sutton now wants to help the franchise return to the NFL's mountaintop. 'It is legacy, being able to be here, signing the contract," Sutton said. "The biggest thing for me was being able to be here and bring back the years that Broncos fans have known. The organization has such a long historic tradition of being successful. You all know that I've been here through the thick and the thin. There's a lot of promise on the other side of the horizon here. To be able to be here and have more years of being able to chase greatness with this great team that we have, and with this great organization, that was one thing I was looking forward to. "We have the best fans in football. It's not a cliché thing to say. It's one thing that I believe wholeheartedly. I've played in almost every NFL stadium, and there's nothing like Empower Field [at Mile High] and being able to play in front of Broncos Country. I'm just grateful to be able to be here and continue my legacy here.' Sutton's 5,340 receiving yards rank 11th in franchise history, and he only needs 22 yards this fall to pass Emmanuel Sanders and crack the top 10. He's also just two touchdowns away from passing Eric Decker (33) on the team's all-time receiving TDs list. And although he's entering his eighth year in the NFL, Sutton believes he can still improve. "There's always growth that's able to be done," Sutton said. "I tell the young guys all the time, I'm always trying to find different ways to master and become better at my craft on and off the field. I'm a thief when it comes to finding different ways to be better, whether it's a recovery thing, whether it's watching film, whether it's a pre-practice thing, whether it's a post-practice thing. I'm always trying to find something to be better at whatever it is I can be better at. Complacency scares me, so to find different ways to step forward and continue to better myself, I'm trying to do that.' Now signed through the 2029 season, Sutton has five more years to continue improving in Denver. Social: Follow Broncos Wire on Facebook and Twitter/X! NFL analyst says Rams should retire this Super Bowl winner's jersey
The Los Angeles Rams have only retired eight jersey numbers in their franchise history, but CBS Sports' Bryan DeArdo writes that the team should add another to this list: Hall of Fame quarterback Kurt Warner's No. 13. It's surprising that Warner's number hasn't already been retired given the fact that the Rams have eight retired numbers, although Warner's accomplishments came when the franchise played in St. Louis. Warner is a two-time league and one-time Super Bowl MVP, so he's more than deserving of the honor. Warner had an illustrious career in his six seasons with the then-St. Louis Rams, where he went 35-15. He led the league in passing yards once and passing touchdowns twice as the kingpin of "The Greatest Show on Turf." Aside from his MVPs and Super Bowl ring, Warner led the NFL in completion percentage three times, passing touchdowns twice and passing yards once. He also made three Pro-Bowls and two first-team All-Pro teams. Warner is seventh in franchise history in passing yards, sixth in passing touchdowns, sixth in wins and first in passing yards per game. The other names on the The issue with Warner is that he didn't finish his career with the Rams. While he played there for half of his career, he went on to have solid production for another six seasons elsewhere, including a Super Bowl appearance for the Arizona Cardinals in 2008. It's unclear what the prerequisite for jersey retirement is for the Rams, but Warner certainly has the personal and team accolades to be considered.

Kansas City Chiefs WR Nikko Remigio is motivated to take advantage of the moment
During Friday's training camp press conference, Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Nikko Remigio expressed his motivation to push for more in training camp. "I think the thing that I've learned with this business is that if you get too comfortable, you're gonna get got," said Remigio. "I work too hard to get to this point in my career, to get to year three, to let it slip through my fingers. So, you know, really, I approach every day like I'm an undrafted rookie, that barely got a shot to make it to the NFL, and I'm scratching and clawing to just get an opportunity." Remigio is a favorite to continue as the starting punt returner, thanks to his contributions late last season into the playoffs. "Coach (Andy) Reid talks a lot about (motivation) during training camp, you're going to have to get to a dark place. And that dark place resembles the space in your head that you're going to have to get to in the AFC Championship, in the playoffs, when you're down in the Super Bowl," said Remigio. "There's a lot that goes into that. And like you said, knowing my story and the journey it took for me to get here, I'll never forget that. I'll never forget that, and it's always going to be a driver and a motivator for me." In 2024, especially during the divisional round postseason victory over the Houston Texans. Remigio's 41 total punt return yards in the game ranked fifth-most in a postseason game in team history. He also had the fourth-longest postseason punt return in franchise history.
