Bills are only team favored in all 17 games on their 2025 schedule

NBC Sports22-05-2025
The 2025 NFL schedule shapes up nicely for the Bills to have a big year.
After the schedule was released, point spreads were released for all 272 regular-season games, and only the Bills were favored in all 17 games on their schedule, according to David Purdum of ESPN.
The Bills benefit from getting their two toughest games at home, with the Ravens coming to Buffalo in Week One and the Chiefs coming to Buffalo in Week Nine. The Bills also benefit from the Chiefs having a short work week in that Week nine game, as the Chiefs play on Monday night in Week Eight.
The Chiefs and Ravens are each favored in 16 games, and underdogs only at Buffalo.
The Bills have built a team that looks like it should be a Super Bowl contender any year that Josh Allen is healthy. This year, the schedule is favorable for them to earn the No. 1 seed in the AFC, and perhaps for Allen to finally reach his first Super Bowl.

Will the Chiefs actually regress in 2025?

Yahoo Sports' Jason Fitz and senior NFL writer Frank Schwab discuss how the defending AFC champions could take a step back this season. Hear the full conversation on 'Inside Coverage' - and subscribe on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, YouTube or wherever you listen. View more Video Transcript Give me a Super Bowl caliber team that you're boom or bust on. Oh, I'm gonna do this again. I, and I, it's so dumb when I do it, and I do it all the time, but, uh, I'm not a very smart man. I don't learn from my mistakes. The Kansas City Chiefs are gonna regress, right? Like, let's think about last year. We all remember they were winning every close game. They caught every break any team could possibly catch. They set an NFL record with consecutive wins in one score games. Uh, I don't think they, I don't want to sit here and say they were exposed in the Super Bowl. They played a really good team and just had a bad day, and I, I don't think that that was indicative of who the Chiefs are. But all of a sudden now, Rashee Rice, his suspension might be back on the table, and Travis Kelce is getting older. Chris Jones is getting older, as great as he's been. Throughout this Chiefs' run, uh, I think 9 straight division titles, how often has there been a good second team in the AFC West? And the answer is pretty rarely. I think there's two now. We can debate whether you like the Broncos or Chargers more to compete with the Chiefs in this division. Maybe the answer is both. I like the Chargers. Others prefer the Broncos, but I think you're going to get, again, these two teams did make the playoffs last year. I think you're gonna get both of those teams kind of nipping at the Chiefs' heels this year. I think we're gonna look up in December and say, wow, the Chiefs could be a wild card team this year because the Broncos and Chargers are right there with them. I, I feel like the Chargers are a 10-win team and the Broncos are a 10-win team, and the Chiefs are a 13-win team. I can get the Chiefs down to like 12 and 5, and maybe that will feel like tremendous regression, but I don't know, man. Like I just, I have a hard time betting against them. I, I just think that, again, the bust for the Chiefs is you, you, you are a wild card team and maybe, you know, you go on the road, Buffalo week one or Ravens week wild card weekend, and you lose. That's a bust for them. Uh, I think if some of these breaks don't go their way, all of a sudden we're looking and saying, oh wow, they they have to go on the road week one. This is the first time ever for the Chiefs as a wildcard in the playoffs here. I think that's on the table. Close

Dallas Cowboys Star Announces It's Super Bowl Or Bust

Dallas Cowboys Star Announces It's Super Bowl Or Bust originally appeared on The Spun. Expectations for the Cowboys are actually pretty modest this year — at least outside of the building. Following a 7-10 season that saw Dallas finish third in the NFC East, the team has since moved on from head coach Mike McCarthy and inserted Brian Schottenheimer. But that isn't stopping a star member of the Cowboys offensive line from thinking they can still hoist the Lombardi in 2025. Asked about his prediction for the season as training camp begins, two-time Pro Bowler Tyler Smith didn't shy away. Telling reporters, "Super Bowl champions … That's always the expectations." Outside of Micah Parsons' contract situation, Dallas is also facing a looming contract extension for Smith who could become the league's highest-paid guard whenever that deal takes place. As ESPN's Todd Archer notes: "The Kansas City Chiefs signed Trey Smith to a four-year deal worth $94 million. The Eagles' Landon Dickerson was the highest-paid guard at $21 million per; now it's $23.5 million for Trey Smith. Would the Cowboys be wise to match that? Go a little higher in the average? Probably so." "Smith recently made an agent change, moving to Joe Panos. In 2014, Panos was Tyron Smith's agent when he signed his eight-year extension. The Cowboys had exercised Tyron Smith's fifth-year option in 2015, but signed him in training camp. So there's a good working history between the club and agent." Smith has been awesome in his three seasons with the club after being drafted 24th overall out of Tulsa. But with so much of the franchise's expenses tied up in two (and soon, three) players, it's going to be interesting to see how it shakes out. The Dallas Cowboys have not reached a Super Bowl or even an NFC Championship in three decades now. Will that finally come to an end in February?Dallas Cowboys Star Announces It's Super Bowl Or Bust first appeared on The Spun on Jul 21, 2025 This story was originally reported by The Spun on Jul 21, 2025, where it first appeared.
