Huge Ravi and Harry twist in EastEnders as partnership takes unexpected turn

Metro2 days ago
This article contains spoilers for Friday's episode of EastEnders, which airs tomorrow at 7pm on BBC One or can be streamed now on iPlayer.
Harry Mitchell (Elijah Holloway) has realised the full extent of what Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara) is capable of.
In the wake of Bernie Taylor (Clair Norris) robbing from the family's businesses, Ravi turned to drug dealing in order to be able to afford daughter Avani Nandra-Hart's (Aaliyah James) birthday party.
After receiving a contact – and a stark warning – from Nicola Mitchell (Laura Doddington), he hid the stash in his car and employed associate Okie (Aayan Ibikunle Shoderu) to distribute them.
Ravi then made a deal with Harry to keep the vehicle in The Arches… and it wasn't long before the narcotics were discovered by his colleague Kojo Asare (Dayo Koleosho).
Spooked by the situation, he took the drugs home and flushed them down the loo. Harry and Nicola were then forced to implement some damage control to save him from Ravi's wrath, and staged a break-in.
Harry, knowing he had a lot of making up to do, offered his nightclub to Avani for her bash.
Although Ravi was pleased with the offer, he asserted that there was still a lot of making up to do.
In today's instalment, to Harry's surprise, Ravi leapt to his defence when Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) tore strips off him in the wake of the 'burglary' at the garage.
He was even more shocked when an invite to attend the celebrations was offered – it seemed like he really had managed to convince the hard man that the robbery was authentic.
Later, the two men began to strike up a conversation about the events, and Harry's face dropped. Luckily, Ravi's favourite song began to be played and he jumped up to dance.
Phew.

However, when Okie reared his head, Ravi wanted Harry's assistance in getting rid of him. They marched the dealer out into Turpin Road and an argument quickly ensued. More Trending
Okie told his boss that without Nish (Navin Chowdhry) at the helm of the Panesar empire, everyone thought the family were a joke.
Ravi wasn't going to listen to such slander, and began to brutally attack him. Harry watched on in fear, but things only got worse when Ravi turned the tables and told him that he knew he was lying.
To make matters worse, he now wants Harry to work for him.

Still Game star Gavin Mitchell's dog poisoned in 'frightening' incident

Gavin Mitchell spoke about having to rush his beloved dog Bob to an emergency vet after ingesting poison. Still Game star Gavin Mitchell has revealed his beloved pet dog was left fighting for his life after swallowing poison. The actor, famed for his role as Boaby the Barman in the hit BBC TV comedy, was left shocked after his dog, Bob, began suffering seizures. ‌ He rushed the distressed pooch for emergency treatment as vets told him they believed the animal had ingested poison. ‌ After an overnight stay, Mitchell said experts hope Bob is on the road to recovery but warned his pet is not out of the woods yet. Experts told Mitchell not to visit Bob, adopted in 2019 from a Glasgow rescue centre, amid fears it may stress the dog. He said: 'After a long, sleepless, dark and teary night, I've been told 'he's amazing'. 'He woke hungry as always, tail wagging and walked, albeit somewhat unsteadily. He has had no more seizures so far and the antitoxin drugs have been doing their job. 'However, we're not out of the woods yet. There's still a problem with his left side and left eye after all the seizures. So they want to keep him in again overnight for observation. ‌ Join the Daily Record WhatsApp community! 'At the moment, no MRI or further investigation, they do think it was something he ate that poisoned him. ‌ 'Please, keep those fingers crossed for him. It's been an awful, dark and frightening 24 hours or so. We're not quite there yet but my boy is a fighter and a survivor and so am I. I just want to hold him!' Mitchell also pleaded with fans not to use poison to deal with vermin and issued a stark warning to yobs who harm pets. He added: 'If you put down poison for vermin, please, know that it can also attract and affect other domestic animals. 'Or if there are 'vermin' out there who have done this for kicks, I will f*****g end every single last one of you.'
