Justin Timberlake sparks concern as fans demand refund for 'bare minimum' concerts

Daily Mirror4 days ago
Cry Me A River star, Justin Timberlake, has sparked concern over his appearance at his latest gig, with some fans claiming the singer looked 'tired' and 'withdrawn'
Justin Timberlake has worried fans with his appearance ahead of his final Forget Tomorrow World Tour show. The Cry Me A River star, 44, is due to wrap up his year-long tour on July 30, but some fans have expressed concern for the dad-of-two - while others have demanded a refund.

Justin, who is married to Hollywood actress, Jessica Biel, has been accused of 'hardly singing' and putting on 'lazy' performances during the gigs following a string of 'embarrassing and bare minimum' shows.

As he took to the stage in Georgia last week, his supporters urged the SexyBack star to 'take a break and recharge' following the damning backlash he has received.

Sticking up for the singer, they wrote: "I can't believe it's almost over! Going to miss you so much, but I know you are TIRED!!! So rest up good and we can do it all over again!"
Meanwhile, another said: "I saw you in Atlanta in November and you were amazing. Best concert I've been to. I think you just need a break and to recharge. You've been doing this tour for a year."

However, others weren't as understanding as they demanded their money back following the 'lacklustre' shows. One said: "Why is he treating performing like a side job?! How many words did you sing?'" Meanwhile, another quipped: "When are the audience getting paid for their performance? Imagine paying $600 to watch the crowd at a Justin Timberlake concert sing his songs."
One insider told the Daily Mail that Justin is 'in a rut' after shooting to fame with the Disney Club as a child and then later boy band, N-Sync, and desperately 'needs to do something new.'

After he played in Romania, a viral TikTok received thousands of likes after a fan who paid 'a lot of money' to see the Senorita star called him 'an absolute disappointment.'
Justin was late getting onstage, and then reportedly only sang a few words of each song, according to ticket-holders.
Expressing their disappointment, the TikTok user shared: "You can't be singing two songs and then taking a break," before calling Justin's behaviour "rude" and "disrespectful" before asking him to "rethink" the concept behind his tour. Many agreed with the claims and multiple fans demanded a refund.

Justin's world tour has been marred with controversy since his DWAI arrest in the Hamptons, US, last year where he hit the headlines when he told the officer: "This is going to ruin the tour".
The star was sentenced to community service last September after a judge rejected a 'disappointing' plea deal that would have let the singer off with a small fine and public statement about his Hamptons drunk-driving arrest.
Justin pleaded guilty to a lesser charge of driving while alcohol impaired instead of the more serious charge of driving while intoxicated and told the judge: "'I should've had better judgment. I understand the seriousness of this.'

The landscape gardener from Hertfordshire, 22, known for his washboard abs, was savagely dumped from the ITV2 show almost three weeks ago alongside villa flame, Lucy Quinn. On GK Barry's podcast Saving Grace, Tommy talked about his life before and after being a Love Island contestant. 'When I tell people I do gardening and stuff it doesn't sound as good, but we'd go to footballers' houses and celebrities,' Tommy said. GK asked Tommy who the most famous person he worked for was, and he replied with no hesitation that it had to be Liam Galllagher. 'I'm a massive Oasis fan and there was a point in time when a company I joined used to do his maintenance, cut his grass, cut back hedges, stuff like that, general tidy-up,' Tommy said. Though Tommy unfortunately didn't get to spend too long working for the star as shortly after he started, Liam moved while his home went under renovation. 'I was really unlucky - I joined that company when he [Liam] moved out for building work, his house was being renovated. He moved to the Cotswolds,' Tommy said. 'I was only at that company for three months, they only wanted me for the summer, and when I left he moved back in. I was actually gutted.' Tommy still remains hopeful that he'll have a chance to meet the music legends of Oasis in the future, as Liam's niece, Anais, reached out to him on TikTok. 'Noel Gallagher's daughter commented on my TikTok and I was buzzing,' Tommy said. Love Island fans furious as Tommy slams Shakira as b----- and a 'mean girl' as he speaks out on dumping 'I then went on Instagram and saw she follows me so I followed her back and she sent a video of Noel and Liam on stage and I messaged her like, 'Counting down the days.'' Tommy continued: 'I'm going in September at Wembley. She asked me what show I'm going to and I told her. She liked the message but that's all it's been left at.' 5 Tommy has been talking to Anais on various social media platforms Credit: instagram 5 The news comes around the same time as Tommy and Lucy calling it quits Credit: Shutterstock Editorial

Strictly Come Dancing star Wynne Evans splits from fiancée weeks after proposing

The opera singer hinted that his relationship with business owner Liz Brookes was "not healthy" Strictly Come Dancing's Wynne Evans has revealed he's parted ways with his fiancée Liz Brookes, just weeks after popping the question during a romantic Moroccan getaway. ‌ The Welsh opera singer hinted at an "unhealthy" relationship in a Facebook Live broadcast on Saturday, August 2, and confessed he's already dipping his toes back into the dating pool. ‌ Rumours of the couple's split started circulating last month when eagle-eyed fans spotted that Wynne had removed his engagement announcement from Instagram and stopped following Liz on social media. ‌ It now seems their romance has come to a definitive end. Insiders confided to the Daily Mail that the split was triggered by Wynne's hectic schedule since he decided to launch his own restaurant in his hometown of Carmarthen, whilst also kicking off his own radio show, set to be based in the eatery, reports the Mirror. The source disclosed: "Wynne and Liz called off their engagement a few weeks ago. The strain of his new business ventures led to a major disagreement. ‌ "Initially, there was hope they would reconcile once the bad feelings subsided, as they had broken up before and managed to mend things. "But with Wynne actively seeking new dates and publicly labelling the relationship as 'not healthy', it's safe to say they've permanently split this time." The Mirror has reached out to Wynne Evans' representatives for a statement. ‌ Liz, who operates a thriving events business in Wales, initially encountered Wynne in 2024 when he entertained guests at one of her company's corporate gatherings. She became a familiar face in the audience throughout his Strictly journey, frequently supporting him from the sidelines and posting encouraging messages across social media platforms. ‌ Wynne had previously credited Liz with motivating his fitness regime ahead of his BBC appearance, telling a podcast presenter: "I go out running with my girlfriend and stuff and I feel much better for it". Wynne popped the question to Liz in June, documenting the special moment on Instagram with a collection of photographs, including a detailed shot of her engagement ring. He wrote alongside the post: "Big news... I got engaged! This weekend in Morocco, somewhere between the couscous, the camels, and me limping around the souks like a man with no spatial awareness, I proposed to Liz - and she said yes! (No take-backs, I've checked.)". ‌ "She's clever, she's kind, she's got excellent taste in men. Absolutely no idea how I pulled that off, but here we are! Feeling very lucky, very happy, and just a tiny bit smug." The pair's split arrives during a challenging year for the Go Compare star, who was axed by the BBC earlier this year following a contentious "spit roast" remark during the Strictly live tour. ‌ Join the Daily Record WhatsApp community! While Wynne subsequently clarified the phrase related to fellow contestant Jamie Borthwick rather than presenter Janette Manrara as initially reported, he maintained he was compelled to issue an apology and has since severed ties with BBC Radio Wales. He has subsequently launched his own internet radio programme and established a wine bar and eatery called Welsh House by Wynne, which he pledged would feature MasterChef -style dishes on the menu as a tribute to his stint on the cookery programme.
