The reality show The Traitors debuted with a bang, generating a lot of attention online. The show, hosted by Karan Johar, premiered on Prime Video on June 12 with three episodes every week. The nerve-racking tasks and great lineup of celebrity contenders have left spectators eager to watch how the twists will play out. This week, another five contestants are ahead of the grand finale that is set to take place next week.
Janvee Gaurr – In the seventh episode, Harsh Gujral and Janvee Gaurr were the last two remaining while everyone else arrived at the breakfast room. Many anticipated Harsh would be ousted, but when the results were released, Janvee was eliminated. Elnaaz Norouzi and Purab Jha resolved to eliminate her.
Elnaaz Norouzi – During a task, Uorfi Javed and Elnaaz had a conflict, leading Uorfi to question whether Elnaaz was the Traitor. Several contestants, including Jannat Zubair and Jasmin Bhasin, also expressed doubts about Elnaaz. In the Circle of Shaq (doubt), both Elnaaz and Purab were suspected of being Traitors. Later, Elnaaz received numerous votes, resulting in her exit from the show. Before leaving, she confessed to being a Traitor.
Sufi Motiwala – Purab became the sole Traitor after Elnaaz was evicted. He was charged with discreetly selecting the person he wanted to eliminate during a cocktail arranged for the contestants. Purab decided to eliminate Sufi. Later, a task was assigned to inform the participants who were ousted last night. Karan mentioned that the person who was 'poisoned' would be eliminated during this task. Sufi's time on the show came to an end following this challenge.
Anshula Kapoor – Harsh Gujral and Uorfi Javed were suspected of being traitors following Sufi's removal. But, the majority of votes went against Anshula, resulting in her eviction from the competition.
Jannat Zubair – Harsh Gujral, The Traitor, wanted to remove Jannat. Harsh and Purab decided to vote Jannat out, especially after she learnt that Harsh had been recruited as the new Traitor.
