According to police, this involved focused efforts through June, as part of a broader campaign aimed at locating and reuniting missing persons, particularly vulnerable minors, with their loved ones.
DCP (southwest) Amit Goel said, "As a part of the extensive search plan, the local police launched multiple operations upon receiving reports of any missing or kidnapped individuals. Through technical surveillance and local intelligence, police tracked down the individuals."

"Their movements were also traced through inquiries with bus drivers, conductors and vendors. Records of nearby police stations and hospitals also played a crucial role in the search operations," DCP Goel added.
Kapashera police led the effort, reuniting 33 individuals with their families, followed by Sagarpur police with 30 and Palam Village police with 24. Anti-Human Trafficking Unit (AHTU) successfully reunited 11 children, while Kapashera police reunited the highest number of adults, 28, with their families.
According to police, the total number of reunited missing persons in the district for the year 2025 so far is 521, which includes 149 children and 372 adults.

Varanasi: A 22-year-old domestic worker, accused of the cold-blooded murder of his employer and her 14-year-old son in South Delhi's Lajpat Nagar, was arrested on Thursday from a train at Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Junction in UP's Chandauli while trying to flee to his native village in Vaishali, Bihar. Man wanted in Doon rape case arrested from Bihar
Dehradun: Uttarakhand police's special task force (STF) arrested a 22-year-old man wanted in a rape case registered at Dehradun's Premnagar police station last year, from Bihar's Saharsa on Thursday. Police said that the accused was carrying a reward of Rs 15,000 on his head. STF SSP Navneet Singh Bhullar said, "A police team was tracking accused Nitish Choudhary. After getting his location, the team travelled to Bihar and carried out a five-day pursuit. Officers had to travel on foot and cross rivers by boat before finally finding him on a small island. He was arrested, and during questioning, he confessed to the crime." Bhullar added that he is being brought to Dehradun on transit remand from Bihar. In another incident, a joint team of the Maharashtra crime branch and Uttarakhand STF arrested an alleged illegal arms supplier linked to international poaching gangs from Dehradun on Thursday. "The accused, Kamran Ahmed, 30, a resident of Delhi, had been living in Clement Town for the past few months. He was previously arrested by Delhi Police for possessing 2,000 cartridges," said SSP Bhullar. Hotel night manager stages robbery with former jailmate, 4 held
New Delhi: A robbery in a hotel in west Delhi's Kirti Nagar on Tuesday turned out to be an inside job, with police arresting its night manager for allegedly staging the crime in collusion with a former jailmate and two juveniles. They were also apprehended. According to police, the alleged robbery was reported around 3am on Tuesday, when the complainant, night manager Prince Kumar, claimed that two masked men entered the hotel, threatened him with a knife and looted Rs 83,000 along with a smartphone from the reception. A case was registered and a police team started probing the case. "During the investigation, CCTV footage raised concerns, and Kumar's behaviour was flagged as suspicious, particularly his attempts to erase data from his phone during questioning. The unusually large amount of cash at the reception, given the modest scale of the hotel, strengthened the suspicion of insider involvement," additional DCP (west) Sukant S Ballabh said.
