Zoe Ball set for new TV gig with dad Johnny and son Woody Cook

Ball returned to BBC Radio 2 in May after stepping down from her breakfast show in December 2024.
She also hosted TV special VE Day 80: A Celebration to Remember on BBC One and BBC iPlayer on May 8.

Now it appears Ball has landed another TV role.
The 54-year-old could be set to star on a new factual series about maths, created by her father Johnny Ball, according The Sun.
The new show would tell the story behind 'the history of maths' and is based on the first six chapters of his book - Wonders Beyond Numbers.
Zoe and Johnny Ball would team up to host the show along with Zoe's son Woody Cook.

Johnny Ball, speaking to The Sun, said: 'The material can be honed down to the essentials, so that anyone could present it in a light and transparent way.
'This is why I believe myself, Zoe and my grandson Woody could add all what each age group requires to make it a fascinating and revealing series.'
A channel for this untitled show is yet to be decided, with Johnny hoping to convince TV bosses to commission the series, admitting having Zoe on board is a 'big pull'.
Zoe and son Woody have appeared on Celebrity Gogglebox before, but this would be the first time three generations of Ball have appeared on air together.
Zoe Ball announced she was quitting her BBC Radio 2 breakfast show role in December last year, and was eventually replaced early in 2025 by Scott Mills.
She had been in the role for six years, but said it was time to step away so she could "focus on family".
Ball, at the time, added: "It's been a privilege. I think the world of you listeners and I'm grateful to my bosses here for their support, especially this year."
It came after a tough 2024 for the radio presenter who was forced to take time away from BBC Radio 2 after her mother, Julia, was "heartbreakingly" diagnosed with cancer before succumbing to the disease in April.

However, Ball returned to Radio 2 on May 3 with a brand new show.
She now goes to air once a week from 1pm to 3pm on Saturdays, having replaced Mark Goodier's Pick Of The Pops, which has moved to Sundays.
You can listen to Zoe Ball every Saturday from 1pm to 3pm on BBC Radio 2.

Oasis fan shows off huge reunion tattoo 12 hours after they came off stage

One Oasis fan went to extreme measures to become what he hopes is the first person to get a tattoo of the reunion tour after selecting a legendary first night image from Cardiff An Oasis mega fan wasted no time getting the tattoo of his dreams - hours after an iconic photo of the band's comeback was taken. The diehard was so desperate to mark the reunion that he had booked in to get inked the morning after their first performance in Cardiff. It is understood to be the first Oasis tour tattoo and the fan, identified only as Wayne, was determined to make his choice something special. ‌ Picking the moment once-warring bothers Liam and Noel Gallagher embraced in front of the crowd on opening night, a photo of the cuddle was swiftly transformed into a leg tattoo. Artist Alfie Ware showed off his incredible work on his Instagram page, and it's fair to say it went down a storm. ‌ "Wrapped up the last piece of Wayne's Oasis leg sleeve this morning, this shot's from their first gig back together last night," he wrote on his page, which displays some of the tats undertaken at Studio S2 in Alvechurch, Worcestershire. "Probably the first to get this photo tattooed as we started it 12 hours after it was taken. Was an absolute pleasure." Alfie's followers were understandably impressed by his attention to detail, and the image Wayne had selected. "That was so quick!" one told him. Another of the group's fans put: "Would get that exact sleeve myself!" Everyone concerned hopes the ink stands the test of time - and there's no big sibling fall out. When Liam and Noel took to the stage in Cardiff walking out hand in hand, it was a sight many of their original fans thought they would never see in their lifetime - so in order to maintain their amicable reunion, it has emerged that the brothers were advised to stay in separate hotels for the first gig of their world tour, in a desperate bid to avoid a clash. The brothers, who are famed for their volatile relationship, were placed in hotels half an hour away from each other. According to The Sun on Sunday, the famous duo skipped partying after their first night in the Welsh city and were driven away from the Principality Stadium at approximately 10.30pm. A source told the publication: "The atmosphere was absolutely electric and Liam and Noel were delighted with the first night. They were a bit shell-shocked." ‌ They added: "It went better than anyone could have imagined. The lead up has all been carefully orchestrated, as everyone knows how delicate and fragile Liam and Noel's relationship is." The insider close to the band continued: "They don't want to over-expose themselves to each other. Having separate residences is the best option so they can relax in their own space." They explained: "They stayed in separate locations outside the city around half an hour away from each other." "They're happy families at the moment and they want to keep it that way. Liam has been off the booze for a while and sounds better than ever," they added. According to the source, Liam is determined to get eight hours sleep a night and is steering clear of alcohol and partying. ‌ Fans were left in awe as the band, who were once synonymous with the stereotypical rock and roll lifestyle, belted out their iconic hits including Wonderwall, Stand By Me, Live Forever and Half The World Away. And it seems a contributing factor in Liam's clean living lifestyle is his partner Debbie Gwyther. Get Oasis updates straight to your WhatsApp! The source continued: "Debbie protects him from all the hype so he doesn't get carried away. They've swapped out Guinness for zero per cent alcohol beers and keep the vibe backstage as chilled as possible." Partying in the crows were Noel's daughter Anais, 25 and her mum Meg Matthews, 59. Liam's sons Lennon, 25 and Gene, 24, were also at Friday's gig. It has been reported that the Cardiff gig was emotional for their children who never thought the day would arrive when they would see their dad on stage as Oasis. And Anais was reportedly a "driving force in helping to reunite the brothers who at the time showed no intention of making the peace.

Nicola warns Ravi in EastEnders - and he'll soon learn she was right

Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara) enters into the dangerous world of drug dealing again in EastEnders this week – despite Nicola Mitchell's (Laura Doddington) warnings. It all kicks off following Bernie Taylor's (Clair Norris) explosive exit last week. As viewers of the BBC One soap will recall, she had stolen thousands from their businesses in order to start a new life in Spain. After initially framing Vicki Fowler (Alice Haig), the Panesars realised what was happening and installed spyware on her laptop to finally get the evidence they needed. However, with the computer programme working on a delay, it was too late to stop her leaving. Suki (Balvinder Sopal) had already stepped to one side to let Bernie into the taxi, fearful that she would expose that she was involved in the murder of her brother Keanu (Danny Walters). In upcoming scenes, the family try to rescue their livelihoods and Ravi has to take desperate measures. He asks Nicola for a drugs contact, but she's quick to warn him of the dangers involved. With daughter Avani Nandra-Hart's (Aaliyah James) birthday fast approaching, he knows that he'll need to cash to make sure she has a perfect day. After meeting up with dealer Okie (Aayan Ibikunie Shoderu), he's forced to hide a car – which contains a stash of narcotics – in the garage. Harry Mitchell (Elijah Holloway) reluctantly agrees to store the vehicle, unaware of the contents. It's not long before he and Kojo Asare (Dayo Koleosho) open the boot and find everything. Terrified of the consequences, Harry calls Ravi and tells him to move the car, while Kojo puts his foot down and refuses to work until it's out of sight. Nicola makes an attempt to intervene when she sees the men in a tense exchange, and later sneaks into The Arches to take a look at what's going on. Later in the week, Harry starts his shift and is shocked to see Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) working on Ravi's car. To make matters worse, the drugs have vanished.
