Nicky Katt, Boston Public Actor, Dead at 54
The news of Katt's death was confirmed by his attorney, John Sloss, to our sister site The Hollywood Reporter. A cause of death has not yet been revealed.

On the TV side, Katt was best known for his role in Fox's drama series Boston Public, which ran from 2000-2004. He played geology teacher Harry Senate who taught kids in the 'Dungeon.' Katt ultimately exited the series during Season 3, after his character suffered a mental breakdown and took a leave of absence.
In addition to Boston Public, Katt appeared in Law & Order, The Guardian, Friends, Dear John, Father Murphy and Herbie, the Love Bug.
Katt was also known for his work on the big screen: In 1993, he played Clint Bruno in Dazed and Confused; in 2000, he played Greg Weinstein in Boiler Room and Obecks in The Way of the Gun; and in 2005, he played Stuka in Sin City.
His other film credits include Doom Generation, Strange Days, The Brave One, A Time to Kill and Batman & Robin.

"It was not an accidental touching," Busey told the judge, according to The Guardian. Busey's criminal defense attorney Blair Zwillman tells PEOPLE that in order for the judge to accept the guilty plea, "there has to be a factual basis where he admits the offense. He had to admit that it was non-consensual.' 'This was the best disposition for him," says Zwillman. "He's glad to put this behind him. He is basically a family guy. He is not a criminal." Busey, who was initially charged with four counts of criminal sexual contact and one count of attempted criminal sexual contact, has yet to be sentenced. He faces fines and one to five years of probation. 'We're going to ask that he'd just be fined and end it,' says women reported that the actor touched them inappropriately during an autograph signing meet-and-greet at Monster-Mania in 2022. The actor initially denied any wrongdoing. "None of that happened,' he told TMZ. 'It was a partner, a camera lady and me, and two girls ... it took less than 10 seconds, and they left. Then they made up a story that I assaulted them sexually and I did not. Nothing happened, it's all false." Busey was nominated for an Oscar for his portrayal of Buddy Holly in The Buddy Holly Story. He also has appeared in dozens of other films including Predator 2 and Point Break. Anthony Mackie Jokes He's the 'White Dude Legend' After Multiple Co-Stars Earned Emmy and Oscar Nominations
Anthony Mackie reacted to being nominated for a guest actor in a comedy Emmy and joked that he has helped many of his former co-stars earn Emmy and Oscar nominations while working together. While appearing on the Wednesday episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the host congratulated Mackie on getting two Emmy nominations. The Marvel star then shared how he learned about his nomination for his guest appearance on The Studio. 'So the way I look at it, I'm very honored and proud to be nominated,' he said. 'But the reality of it is, I'm excited to be in second place.' Mackie continued, 'Because you know it's Ron Howard, and it's Scorsese. So, one of them is going to take it, but they're going to take votes from the other person. So, I'm going to be in second.' ‘Glee' Star Chris Colfer's Book Series ‘Land of Stories' in Works as Warner Bros. Movie
Warner Bros. is set to start a new chapter with the adaptation of a best-selling book series from Glee alum Chris Colfer. The studio has acquired Colfer's book series The Land of Stories and has attached filmmaker Phil Johnston to write the script. The series kicked off with The Wishing Spell, published in 2012. With seven books in the original series, Colfer has also published several prequel titles. In 2017, The Hollywood Reporter reported that Colfer was set to write and direct a feature version of the book series for 20th Century Fox and Shawn Levy's 21 Laps.
