Coming off Thursday's 7-3 victory over the Los Angeles Angels, which snapped their five-game skid, the Yankees host the Baltimore Orioles this weekend at Yankee Stadium.

And they'll be sending ace Max Fried (9-2, 1.89 ERA) to the mound for Friday night's series opener. He'll oppose Orioles starter Tomoyuki Sugano (5-4, 3.38).

He even feels like, in his mind, albeit a little limited, he could even be a player today. That's where he's at, but wants to do some quicker-twitch stuff out there. We'll continue to evaluate it and see if it's something we're going to avoid or wait at least another day. We'll see.'
