As the delegation arrived at Delhi airport, while speaking to ANI, Purandeswari said that after their delegation, led by BJP MP Ravi Shankar Prasad, produced evidence, the countries affirmed their support to India.
'Well we have as a delegation led by Ravi Shankar Prasad have been to six countries. These are the European countries and we have spoken to the Government officials, representatives of governments and even Indian Diaspora who are living in other countries. We have also produced evidence of the terrorism that India has been suffering under to the government representatives, the MPs and the officials as well. So they are aware of the effect of terrorism, that India is suffering. After the evidences that have been given to them, they have definitively said to the world that they would stand by India in its fight against terrorism,' Purandeswari said.
The Indian Embassy in Germany on Saturday said that the All-Party Parliamentary Delegation concluded its visit to Germany. The delegation successfully conveyed India's firm and principled position against terrorism.
In a post on X, the Embassy stated, 'As the All-Party Parliamentary Delegation concluded its visit to Germany, India's firm and principled position against terrorism found resonance across the top political leadership, decision- makers and think-tanks -- reinforcing depth of the India-Germany Strategic Partnership.'

During their Europe tour, the delegation held key meetings with government officials, parliamentarians, and think-tanks in countries including Germany.
Vice President of Germany's Bundestag, Omid Nouripour, met with All-Party Parliamentary Delegation led by BJP MP Ravi Shankar Prasad. He remarked that 'India is the country on earth, for the last decades, which has been most affected by terror attacks... we have to stand at the side of the people in India and help, without any escalation, that the country is kept safe.' New Delhi: The world in 21st Century will be multipolar instead of bipolar and would come with a new set of global institutions, non-state actors and challengers, said Ram Madhav - ideologue of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, the BJP's ideological mentor, in his new book - "The New World: 21st Century Global Order and India". "The world we are entering into will be very different from what we have lived in for last seven decades," Ram Madhav told NDTV in an exclusive interview, pointing out that while many are saying so, no one has yet defined it. "I proposed in this book that we must understand that the world in 21st century will not be bipolar. It will be multipolar and it will be heteropolar. Heteropolar in the sense that while countries will rise as important poles -- we have risen as an important pole. World recognizes that. So is Russia today. So is Turkey today," he said. The first very important change, he said, will be the rise of China "and at the same time, a decline in influence of the western powers especially America". "When I say decline, I am not at all saying that probably America will disappear or it will no longer be there as a power," he added. There are other nations that are rising as well, including India, and as long as they do not come into their own, there could be a cold war between these two power centres. What would eventually emerge is a multipolar world, where nations would play a key role in their immediate and extended neighbouhood, he said. In this multilateral world, global bodies too, would be multilateral, he said. Pointing out that China has recently announced a new arbitration arrangement for nations with Hong Kong as headquarters, he said, "What will happen to International Court of Justice in The Hague? Because now countries if they prefer, they simply can go to Hong Kong and China will mediate and solve your problems. New institutions are coming up". The new world order would also come with its own set of non-state actors and challengers -- including religious, media, big tech organizations that will become big enough players to affect sovereign nations, Ram Madhav said. "Beyond multipolarity is heteropolarity. In multipolarity you have multiple countries as rising as middle powers... In heteropolarity, non-state players of different natures will rise," he said, giving examples of Syria and Afghanistan where those called terrorists till recently are ruling. "You know, in India also, some of our people in my movement call George Soros a danger to India. Ford Foundation a threat to India. They are posing certain challenges. I don't deny that. But are they countries? Do they have armies to pose challenges? They are just NGOs," he said. But for some, even someone like George Soros could be a challenge, he said, recalling his visit to Hungary, where Prime Minister Viktor Orban had counted the billionaire investor as a "biggest threat" his country faces. "We are seeing in Elon Musk what he is doing, the challenge he is throwing to a person like Trump. This is the kind of world we are entering into where tech giants can be important players. They can challenge your sovereignty," he said. To survive in this new world order, India, he said, has to eschew romanticism and be pragmatic, break new grounds in education, research and development and hone talent.. "The government understands it. That's why government has introduced certain very pragmatic measures. I talked about, you know, strategic autonomy policy of the government. It's a very important policy at a time when the world is transitioning," he said. Today, between expectation from America and China also that India should join them, India under Prime Minister Narendra Modi has taken a principled stand of strategic autonomy.

Karnataka HC halts deportation of Russian woman's children found living in cave
The Karnataka High Court has intervened to temporarily halt the deportation of a Russian woman's children, emphasising the need to consider their best interests as mandated by the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC). Nina Kutina had said there was no danger to her or her children's lives when they lived inside the cave.(ANI) The decision of Justice S Sunil Dutt Yadav came during the hearing of a writ petition that was filed to challenge a sudden deportation order issued against the children. The petitioner, represented by advocate Beena Pillai, argued that the deportation process disregarded the children's welfare and violated UNCRC principles. The assistant solicitor general (ASG), appearing in the matter for the Union of India, informed the court that the children currently lack valid travel or identity documents. Based on this submission, the court observed that immediate deportation was not reasonable at this stage. However, the court stressed the importance of a detailed hearing to thoroughly examine the case. It directed the respondents to submit a written affidavit, confirming the absence of valid documents, and file their objections within two weeks. Additionally, the court issued a clear directive that no deportation plan can be executed without prior intimation to it, effectively stalling any unilateral deportation effort until the next hearing scheduled for August 18. Nina Kutina (40), along with her two daughters Preya (6) and Ama (4), was rescued by police from the Ramatirtha cave at Gokarna in Uttara Kannada district on July 11. Kutina was staying here even though her visa had expired.

Female trainee constables protest at U.P.'s Gorakhpur centre over basic amenities, abusive language, cameras
Fresh batch of women constable recruits at Gorakhpur's 26 Battalion Provincial Armed Constabulary (PAC) campus of U.P. Police on Wednesday (July 23, 2025) protested and raised slogans alleging lack of basic facilities like drinking water, electricity, abusive language of trainers and even claimed that they were being forced to bathe in the open and cameras in bathroom corridors. In the viral videos, which were shared widely the new recruits could be heard saying, 'If they (authorities) could not make arrangements, why were we called here, there was shortage of everything from electricity to drinking water, our privacy was compromised, there were of lack of private bathing areas,". Another recruit added, "one Reverse Osmosis (RO) set was given for around 600 students, for 30 girls four fans were functional, even the fans were not in proper working condition,". Some protesting recruits question the high number of appointed women called at once for training while a few claimed presences of CCTV cameras in bathroom corridors, terming it as a breach of privacy. While administrative officers dispersed the protestors who were blocking the road and directed them back inside the centre, the recruits protested outside the administrative building, demanding addressing of their basic demands. Amid the protest senior officials including senior PAC officer Akhil Kumar and district police officials rushed to the spot and initiated an inquiry. "Officials took serious note of the issues raised by the women recruits of 26 Battalion PAC, Gorakhpur and a detailed inquiry was initiated. It was found that due to a 'technical fault' electricity shortage happened which led to a temporary water scarcity, the issue has been promptly resolved. Following the preliminary enquiry, Physical Training Instructor (PTI), who used abusive language with women recruits was suspended. The claim of camera in bathroom is completely wrong, the U.P. police give highest priority to women security and respect," reads an official statement issued by Additional Director General (ADG) PAC, Uttar Pradesh. Opposition parties hit out at the State government over the mismanagement accusation adding for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) women worship is only a slogan. "Unfortunate news is coming from Gorakhpur about the mismanagement of the training centre for women police recruits. There is no electricity, no water, no dignified bathroom. When this is the condition of the main city then what can one say about the rest. Women worship is a slogan of the BJP," wrote the Samajwadi Party (SP) president Akhilesh Yadav, on X. The 26th Battalion PAC centre, which serves as a police training school, recently seen induction of 598 women constable recruits from various districts of Uttar Pradesh as part of the 2023 batch.
