VIRGIN Island was all about helping 12 innocents pop their cherries on TV, but I can reveal that those behind the scenes faced a sex BAN.
The crew, including therapists Danielle Harel, Celeste Hirschman and the experts tasked with helping the cast let loose, were all under strict rules not to get any thrills of their own.

Virgin Island became Channel 4's biggest launch this year

A source said: 'Location shoots like this are usually a hotbed for hook-ups.
"But Virgin Island was no fun for anyone except the virgins.
'Production wanted to make them feel comfortable and unintimidated.
"This sort of crew sex ban is unheard of in the TV world, but is very responsible of Channel 4.'
A second series has been ordered after the show became the broadcaster's biggest launch this year, averaging 1.4million viewers an episode and notching up 9million streams.

AS a pro dancer on BBC's Strictly Come Dancing, Gorka Marquez has been paired with top names including Helen Skelton, Alexandra Burke and Katie McGlynn.

Speaking at a Soccer Aid training day last week, Gorka said: 'I always say James Corden would be amazing because he comes from musical theatre.
'And he just moved back to the UK again. He can sing, he can move, I think he'd be amazing.
'I was having breakfast with Sir Mo Farah and I was telling him he'd be amazing on the show.
'But anybody who wants to do Strictly and loves dancing would be perfect.

Olivia Attwood's The Price Of Perfection is proving a big success

OLIVIA ATTWOOD returned for a second series of ITV2 documentary The Price Of Perfection last week – and it's already proving a big success with viewers.
Figures reveal that the show – which sees Olivia look into cosmetic procedures and mummy makeovers – achieved its highest ever overnight audience, peaking at 349,000 viewers.
So it is expected to hit the same heights as the first series, which reached nearly 8million streams.
Olivia's total views already stands at almost 40million across this format and her previous three series, Getting Filthy Rich, Bad Boyfriends and Olivia Attwood Vs The Trolls.
The Price Of Perfection is available to stream on ITVX.

THEY are two of the longest-running sitcoms on the BBC – and they show no signs of slowing down just yet – but their creators are already cooking up endings.
When discussing what was to come in the future, Mrs Brown's Boys' Brendan O'Carroll and Not Going Out's Lee Mack admitted they have very different ideas of how they would wrap things up.
Brendan revealed: 'I'd have the audience peeing themselves with laughter for 25 minutes and then crying their eyes out for the final five.'
But Lee Mack, who co-writes and stars in his series alongside Sally Bretton and Hugh Dennis, responded: 'I'd do it the other way around!'
Brendan's comedy about potty-mouthed Irish Mammy Agnes Brown launched in 2011, while Lee's show featuring him and co-star Sally as husband and wife Lee and Lucy first aired back in 2006.
ACTRESS JOANNA VANDERHAM says she found her role as Diana Mosley in UKTV's Outrageous harrowing. Diana, one of the Mitford sisters, married fascist Oswald Mosley, with Hitler as a wedding guest.
She said: 'Certain lines of hers I found difficult. Her thoughts were so scary.'
SQUID Game's third and final series lands on Netflix on June 27, but director Hwang Dong-Hyuk says the team struggled to come up with new sick games for it.
At a preview screening in London he said he felt 'relief and sadness' to close the show after dedicating six years of his life to it.

Vicky Pattison 'set to join Strictly Come Dancing line-up after wowing bosses'
Vicky Pattison has reportedly been offered a spot on this year's Strictly Come Dancing. The reality TV star, 37, is said to have caught the attention of producers when she cheered on pal Pete Wicks from the audience during last year's series - and now bosses are keen to bring her centre stage. She told the publication: 'When I found out Pete was doing it, I called him straight away to check he was alright. 'Because me and him are more 'stand in the corner, drink and have a laugh' than the 'centre of the dance floor' people.' She added that as she's got older, she knows she should be pushing herself out of her comfort zone. The rumour comes after Strictly bosses announced the professional lineup for this year's show and revealed there will be two brand new dancers joining. Dianne Buswell, who lifted the glitter ball in December with Chris McCausland, will be joining Nadiya Bychkova, Karen Hauer, Katya Jones, Neil Jones, Nikita Kuzmin, Gorka Marquez, Luba Mushtuk and Jowita Przystal in returning to the dance floor this September. MailOnline previously revealed that Strictly Come Dancing professional Karen will return to the BBC show this year. It was rumoured that the programme's longest-serving dancer was axed by bosses, sparking an 'ageism' row among the cast but it has been confirmed that the star, 42, will be back as normal when the series returns in September. Karen, who joined the lineup in 2012, is yet to win the glitter ball trophy but has reached several finals including with celebrity partners Made In Chelsea's Jamie Laing and former TOWIE star Mark Wright. Last year, Karen was partnered with former footballer Paul Merson, 57, but the pair were eliminated in week five and the previous season the dancer performed with DJ Eddie Kadi. A TV source told MailOnline: 'Karen is a well loved and respected member of the Strictly cast and there's no way she would be axed, especially not because of her age. 'She has dedicated years to the programme and can't wait to get back in the training room with a new partner in the next coming months.' Following speculation surrounding whether she would axed from the long running series due to being in her 40s, Karen spoke about not being 'threatened' by younger competitors. Indeed, she said performing alongside new joiners makes her feel empowered and she is 'inspired' by the younger generation.
