Will Ashley joins cast of 'Sanggang Dikit FR' starring Jennylyn Mercado, Dennis Trillo
According to Athena Imperal's report in "24 Oras" Friday, the Nation's Son will play the role of a cop in the Kapuso action series.
"Ang magiging role ko po dito para sa Sanggang Dikit ay isang pulis na very composed, prim and proper, at talagang by the book na pulis," he shared.
Per Will, action is a new experience for him, and he also cannot wait to work with DenJen .
"Isang bagay din na ni-l-look forward ko dito is makatrabaho si Kuya Dennis and of course si Miss Jenny It really feels good to be back and sobrang excited ako lahat gawin 'yung mga eksenang 'yan," he added.
Dennis and Jennylyn are likewise excited to work with the Sparkle star.
"Nakikita lang namin siya sa mga clips ng 'PBB' tsaka dun sa ibang mga nagawa niyang shows dati. Excited kami na mapasok siya dito sa 'Sanggang Dikit,'" said Dennis.
Dennis and Jennylyn also expressed their gratitude to supporters of the show. According to the couple, viewers have much to look forward to in the next episodes of "Sanggang Dikit FR" because these will feature the scenes they filmed in Dubai, Milan, and Switzerland.
"Sana ay patuloy nilang panoorin at suportahan yung show naming," said Jennylyn.
"Nakakatuwa 'yung magagandang feedback na nababasa namin. Mas nakaka-inspire na mas mag trabaho pa, mas galingan pa 'yung pag-t-trabaho namin, mas effortan pa lahat ng paghihirap na ginagawa namin dito," Dennis also said.
Will is fresh from his stint in "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition" where he and his duo Ralph De Leon emerged as the second big placers.
"Sanggang Dikit FR" airs Mondays to Fridays at 8:50 p.m. on GMA Network

Emre warns Amihan, Ybrahim about escaping Devas
Amihan (Kylie Padilla) and Ybrahim (Ruru Madrid) dared to defy Emre in a desperate attempt to return to Encantadia and help fight the darkness brought by Mitena (Rhian Ramos). On Tuesday's episode, the couple was shown embracing Lira (Mikee Quintos) and Mira (Kate Valdez) upon their arrival in Devas. Amihan tearfully apologized for not being able to protect them, highlighting the growing feeling of helplessness among the former leaders. Despite their sorrow, Amihan and Ybrahim pressed on and asked Emre to allow them to return to Encantadia to face Mitena. But Emre stood firm and said, "Hindi lahat ng sugat ay dapat agad lapatan ng lunas." Frustrated, Amihan made her intentions clear. "Kung hindi n'yo kami papayagan, mahal na Emre, kusa na lamang kaming aalis. Hindi n'yo kami maaaring pigilan sa pagtulong namin sa aming nasasakupan," she said. But just as they prepared to leave, an earthquake struck Devas. From the cracks emerged terrifying smoke-like beasts, ruthless creatures under Emre's command. "Kung lilisanin ninyo ang Devas nang hindi ko pinahihintulutan, hahabulin kayo at dadakpin ng mga halimaw na 'yan at doon sa Balaak (hell) nila kayo dadalhin," Emre warned. Gaiea (Cassy Lavarias), unseen, witnessed the confrontation and Emre's chilling threat. Later, Lira urged her parents not to defy Emre, fearing they'd be separated again. But Amihan, now more determined than ever, likened Devas to a prison and vowed to reclaim her bugna (destiny) just to save Encantadia even if it meant breaking divine law. "Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre" airs on GMA Network from Mondays to Fridays at 8 p.m. after "24 Oras."
