Rockford man charged in Fas Fuel gas station shooting
Rockford Police said the 21-year-old victim survived the shooting back in December.
According to police, the man was shot on December 15, 2024, around 1:55 p.m. at the Fas Fuel gas station located at 3302 11th Street. The altercation began because Dismuke was attempting to steal the victim's gray Chrysler 300, according to court records.
Authorities reported that the victim was tackled to the ground by Dismuke before a struggle for the victim's firearm took place.
The victim suffered multiple gunshot wounds to his leg after the confrontation with the suspect.
Dismuke got away in a black sedan, officials reported.
He is charged with aggravated battery by discharge of a firearm and aggravated discharge of a firearm.

GRAND HAVEN, Mich. (WOOD) — A man is heading to prison for a minimum of about eight years for his role in a road rage incident last year near Allendale that killed an uninvolved party. That collision caused Perez's vehicle to hit a car in the westbound lanes near Trillium Drive. The head-on crash killed 27-year-old Sha-Tera Coleman of Grand Rapids. Members of the victim's family addressed the court Monday prior to sentencing. During an earlier hearing, an Ottawa County deputy said both men to engaging in a road rage incident for several miles. 1 dead, thrown from lift bucket in downtown Willoughby crash
[Watch in the player above: What to do if you witness a crash] WILLOUGHBY, Ohio (WJW) — A box truck struck a lift-bucket truck parked in downtown Willoughby on Monday morning, ejecting the person inside the lift bucket, according to city police. That person was severely injured and later pronounced dead at a hospital, Willoughby Police Detective Lt. John Begovic told FOX 8 News. The collision caused the person inside the lift bucket to be thrown out, into a car parked across the street, according to Begovic. Witnesses provided CPR until first responders arrived and transported the person to a hospital, Begovic said. Erie Street was closed off. The crash remains under investigation. Deputies: 1 dead after Zeeland Township crash
ZEELAND TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — A person died during a crash in Zeeland Township on Friday, deputies say. It happened around 7:30 p.m., on 88th Avenue near Ransom Street. The Ottawa County Sheriff's Office says that they were dispatched to a crash involving two vehicles where one person was thrown from a car. The sheriff's office says that the person who was thrown died from their injuries. Passengers in the other car were taken to the hospital with non life threatening injuries, deputies say.
