Cardi B hits back at social media trolls
Cardi B is clapping back at social media trolls who she says are trying to 'humble' her by sharing edited and unflattering images online.
The 32-year-old rapper took to X (formerly Twitter) to defend herself after noticing manipulated photos of her circulating on the platform. She responded by posting an unfiltered, makeup-free video of herself, calling out the trolls directly.
'Am I really that bad of a b**** that y'all always gotta edit my pictures to fake try to humble me with insults on this app?' she wrote. 'Anyways—no filter, no makeup, just me and this wig I had on for days. THANK YOU!!'
One user replied, 'My god, she reeks of insecurity—like it's getting sad.' But Cardi didn't hold back, insisting that she's far from insecure about her looks.
'I'm insecure? Or do I make y'all insecure to the point that you gotta pull up my pictures, open an app, and edit them because y'all can't stand how hard I step???' she fired back.
The Grammy-winning artist, who rose to fame after working as a stripper and then launching a chart-topping music career, also shared a post suggesting her name is constantly used to drive engagement on social media.
'Everybody using Cardi's name for engagement chile,' the post read, accompanied by a yawning emoji—Cardi retweeted it in agreement.
Despite her success, Cardi has openly admitted that fame hasn't necessarily brought her more happiness. In a past interview with CR Fashion Book, the 'Bodak Yellow' hitmaker said she felt more content two or three years ago, when she had less money and more personal freedom.
'One positive thing is that my family—whatever they want, they get. Everything I want to buy, I can get. I don't have to worry so much about my future,' she said.
Cardi shares three children with her husband Offset: Kulture, 6, Wave, 3, and a baby daughter born in September, whose name has not been made public.

Olivia Munn speaks out about her experiences filming The Newsroom
Bang Showbiz | Los Angeles Olivia Munn has spoken out about her experiences filming The Newsroom, alleging repeated creative clashes with a director on the HBO series led to professional conflicts on set — and attempts to derail her career afterwards. The 44-year-old actress discussed the situation during an episode of the Armchair Expert podcast, in conversation with host Dax Shepard. Oilvia, who starred as financial reporter Sloan Sabbith in the Aaron Sorkin–created series from 2012 to 2014, said tensions escalated during the second and third seasons, particularly as her character became romantically involved with Don Keefer, played by Thomas Sadoski, 48. The star claimed the director repeatedly pressured her to play the romantic arc from Sloan's perspective only. 'The director kept trying to force me to carry that storyline only on my side,' she said – adding: 'I'm in the middle of working and I've got this new Bloomberg machine, and I'm so excited, and he's like, 'Can you look out at him and smile?' 'And I'm like, 'Why? She's busy doing this.' Or, 'Can you stop and snuggle up to him or flirt with him or can you give him a kiss?'' A particularly contentious moment occurred, Olivia said, when her character discovered Don had committed insider trading using confidential information she had shared. 'I was like, 'Are you kidding me? This is insane,'' she recalled. According to Oilvia, the director disagreed with her interpretation and insisted Sloan should find the situation 'kind of funny'. The conflict culminated in a standoff during filming.

Nostalgic tunes
Noah Cyrus' second album titled I Want My Loved Ones to Go with Me drops tomorrow, July 11. Following her 2022 release The Hardest Part, the 25-year-old said that the new body of work marks her confidence in her identity, and aims to lyrically celebrate the present while also acknowledging the past, evoking the feeling of 'a comforting friend that a song can be'. 'For a long time, I couldn't really trust in my own choices. I had to learn how to make decisions for myself and make that transition into adulthood,' Noah said in an interview. 'But I've found who I am, I know who I am, and this record shows what I had inside me all this time. 'This album is me. 'I want this album to offer fans a sense of comforting, peaceful nostalgia. That's something that I feel so heavily when I listen to music. 'We all want to connect with our past while also being aware of the present moment. Music does that for me, and this collection of songs was made with that in mind,' she added. Born in January 2000, the Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter embarked on her acting career at the age of two, playing Gracie Hebert on the sixth episode of her father Billy Ray Cyrus's TV show Doc. She was also a background dancer in the 2009 film Hannah Montana: The Movie, starring her older sister Miley Cyrus. The creative talent then released her debut single Make Me (Cry), featuring English singer Labrinth in 2016.

Scarlett Johansson was enthusiastically supported by twin brother Hunter during Jurassic World Rebirth premiere
Bang Showbiz | Los Angeles Scarlett Johansson has revealed that her twin brother Hunter was her most enthusiastic supporter at the premiere of Jurassic World Rebirth. The 40-year-old actress leads the cast of the new movie as Zora Bennett and admits that her twin sibling was the 'loudest audience member' at the event in New York because he is such a big fan of the dinosaur franchise. In an interview with E! News, Scarlett said: 'He was the loudest audience member. I knew that would be the case because he loves Jurassic so much and was like, there for it.' She added: 'He would've been there either way because he's a fan and the movie is so explosive.' He was literally cheering when John Williams music was just like, around. Scarlett admitted she was sharing the film with her brother partly in a bid to relive the childhood they had both forgotten – as they watched Jurassic Park together as kids. The Jojo Rabbit star said: 'That felt really special to me. Just because we saw the first movie together when we were nine or 10 in the theatre, and we were so scared and so into it at the moment. Just thrilling.' Johansson also recalled a childhood memory of being in the movie herself. 'I used to joke with the boys, I'm really like: 'I'm going to be in Jurassic Park one day.' It's just so nice to be able to fulfil that, took a car to a boat to another car to another boat so that to remote island set in Thailand.' She said: 'They get to watch this big movie like you do, that's just the joy, the popcorn, the dinosaurs.'
