Anthea Turner, 64, reveals the secret to her age-defying looks - and it's not what you think
The TV presenter, 64, who recently returned from a dreamy break at Sandals Regency La Toc in Saint Lucia with her fiancé Mark Armstrong, looked radiant during an exclusive catch-up with OK! - but her glow isn't just thanks to the Caribbean sunshine.
When asked what her secret is, Anthea revealed that her skincare brand's Balm 6 product keeps her skin 'hydrated and in good shape.' However, she also occasionally gets Botox.
She told the publication: 'Well, Balm 6 obviously keeps my skin hydrated and in good shape. But I still have Botox, which can be amazing if used properly.
'I can still frown a bit, but I haven't looked properly angry since I was about 40! I have a tiny bit of filler in my cheeks.
'I've used IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) for years to manage pigmentation on my face, neck and chest, and I wear factor 30 to 50 on my face, chest and hands every day.
The star also revealed she has microneedling treatments with Lynton, a laser company, which she highly recommends.
With her 65th birthday just a few weeks away, Anthea shared that ageing doesn't bother her in the slightest.
She said it 'doesn't bother me' - but it's people's reactions to ageing that can be the real issue.
She added that her generation 'really changed the world,' and so much has evolved - including how generational lines have blurred. For example, there's no longer a clear divide in fashion, which she believes is 'brilliant'.
Twice-married Anthea has been engaged to Mark since 2019, though they have yet to tie the knot.
When asked about wedding plans, she explained that COVID-19 disrupted everything - and tragically, both Mark's mum and her own mum passed away.
She added that two of her stepdaughters got married soon after, so their own wedding plans were put on the back burner - but she insisted they'll still get around to it.
She also said that their recent Saint Lucia trip was especially important, explaining: 'It's so easy to lose each other if you're not careful.'
A holiday, she said, gives you the space to reconnect - and she truly cherishes her relationship with Mark.
Elsewhere in the interview, Anthea spoke lovingly about becoming a 'glam-ma.'
Her stepdaughter, Claudia Bovey, recently welcomed a baby boy named Dexter, and Anthea shared the happy news on Instagram with a heartfelt message to Claudia and her partner, James.
Posting a sweet snap of her grandson, Anthea captioned the post: 'Claudia Bovey you are a star ⭐️
'Love you James for making her so happy Dexter is beautiful. Hugs and Kisses forever.
She concluded: 'Granny Anth' alongside several emojis.

The update from Katie comes after friends claimed he'd moved out and they had called it quits. Earlier this week, reports emerged that Katie, 47, and Married At First Sight star JJ Slater, 31, had parted ways. Closer magazine claimed the couple had "gone their separate ways" with JJ allegedly having "packed his bags and moved out". However, Katie appears to have quashed these rumours by posting a picture featuring JJ prominently. Via her Instagram stories, Katie uploaded an image showing JJ positioned at a laptop. The reality TV star was captured during a photoshoot whilst having her hair and makeup applied. Seated at a table in the photograph was JJ. So it looks like the love story continues for Katie and JJ. The couple first became an item at the end of 2023, and following a turbulent whirlwind romance, but an insider earlier this week that alleged that Katie has grown 'bored' and that JJ has 'lost his sparkle'. "Katie and JJ have decided to go their separate ways, with JJ having already packed his bags and moved out. Ultimately, Katie's gotten bored. Friends and family had been warning JJ for a while that he'd lost his sparkle and that she treated him like a doormat," a source revealed to Closer. The insider went on to disclose that Katie 'isn't upset' about being single once more and has numerous options sliding into her DMs, even making quips to her mate where she compared men to handbags. They continued: "JJ has seen the messages, DM's sliding in and out from other men, Katie isn't upset. She even joked with her pal, 'new house, new start! I change men like handbags, but handbags are more useful!' He's gutted, but Katie claims she has not been unfaithful or been going behind his back and sexting other men." Speaking about Katie's romantic patterns, the source remarked: "Katie loves the excitement of the chase and being chased. If it's naughty, then she's in." Adding: "She craves the dopamine rush and is a self-confessed addict to anything that gives her a rush and instant gratification. She lives for her next hit, and sadly, JJ is just another statistic of collateral damage." Just last month, Katie was photographed getting cosy with several topless blokes whilst holidaying in Ibiza, with the getaway reportedly leaving JJ feeling worried about their relationship. "She can't help but flirt and cosy up to people, it's the life she's always led," a source told OK! The former Page 3 stunner was pictured partying alongside controversial ex-UFC champion Conor McGregor, EastEnders actor Dean Gaffney and nightclub mogul Wayne Lineker, who owns the island's renowned O Beach club. Katie dropped hints that her romance with JJ was in trouble during a May appearance on Paul C Brunson's podcast. She revealed her worries about spending excessive time with JJ and neglecting her mates. She explained: "When you meet someone, it's natural to want to be with them all the time. Then the mistakes I've made in the past are then you're with them all the time." She continued: "I'm a bit worried that I've got like that with JJ."

The model has been with former England footballer Peter for almost two decades. The couple married in 2011, five years after they started dating, and now share four children together. They regularly discuss the highs and lows of married life on their podcast, The Therapy Crouch. In a recent episode, a listener wrote in saying their friends had all found themselves in relationships meaning they had no one to go out with. It prompted the woman to ask them if they would attend a singles night together. While former Liverpool forward Peter, 44, sympathised with the woman, he believes they should just organise a regular 'girls night'. He said: 'I get she wants to go out with the girls, that's fine, go to a pub, go to a restaurant, you can't go to a singles night.' Abbey queried 'what's the difference' between going to a singles night and a regular night on the town. To which Peter replied: 'If I said to you, my mate is single and he's not got a girlfriend, so I'm just going to go to this singles night tonight to help him out, how would you feel?' Abbey said: 'I'd be like grow up. If you're confident enough in your relationship and secure in your relationship then your head won't be turned.' Husband Peter shot back saying Abbey 'isn't confident enough in their relationship' if she wouldn't let him go. She said: 'I'm not, I'm absolutely not, I wouldn't trust you as far as I could throw you. 'You're under lock and key, mister. I would help my friend out, maybe not a singles night then.' Peter and Abbey met in Liverpool in 2005. Recalling how they met during an interview on Good Morning Britain, Abbey said: 'When we first met, he begged me for my number and then I went to the loo or the bar, and when I came back, he was talking to another girl. I was like, 'How dare you?'' Peter went on to say he was 'just talking' to the other girl but Abbey asked for her number back. He added: 'I said, 'You can't give someone your number and then take it back'.' Despite the initial bump in the road, their relationship blossomed and the couple tied the knot on June 30, 2011. According to OK! , the family live in a 'magical' Surrey mansion complete with its own cinema room and a huge garden. The sprawling mansion regularly features on Abbey's social media feeds. Fans have seen glimpses of Peter working at his large wooden desk, complete with football trophy, as well as enjoying the property's outdoor swimming pool and wooden play area. They are said to have moved into the stunning property in 2016.
