Matty and model Gabbriette, 27, started dating back in September 2023 and got engaged after just nine months, with the singer popping the question with a custom black diamond ring.
It certainly matches her goth-light style, with Gabbriette previously telling Vogue her fashion inspiration ranges from 50s pin-up icons to dominatrixes.
Speaking about her fiance, she previously told
Born to a Mexican mum and German dad, "it-girl" Gabriette began modelling in her late teens and has starred in campaigns for Marc Jacobs, Nike and Savage X Fenty.

But she also has a keen interest in the music industry, having been lead singer of punk girl band Nasty Cherry - which hasn't released music since 2021.
She was hand-selected by Charli XCX - who is engaged to Matty's The 1975 bandmate, drummer George Daniel - and references the model in her track 360 on the album Brat, with the lyric: "Call me Gabbriette, you're so inspired."
Their relationship came hot on the heels of Matty's widely publicised romance with Taylor Swift, 35 - despite him previously declaring in a 2016 interview that he would find it too "de-masculinating" to be her boyfriend.
The couple had previously been linked in 2013 before rekindling their romance a decade later - though it only lasted a few months, with a source telling

Their romance sparked controversy among devoted Taylor fans due to Matty's past battles with heroin and his reputation for courting controversy with his wild on-stage antics.
The band was slapped with a £1.9million fine after Matty snogged his bandmate Ross MacDonald on stage in Kuala Lumpur in July 2023 after attacking Malaysia's anti-LGBT laws in an expletive-fuelled rant.

Matty also provoked outrage when, while appearing on the Adam Friedland Show in 2023, he laughed when hosts Nick Mullen and Adam referred to rapper Ice Spice - with whom Taylor had collaborated - as an 'Inuit Spice Girl,' and 'chubby Chinese lady.'
Several Swifties accused The 1975 frontman for using Taylor as a way to raise his profile - and Matty himself admitted in an interview that he became significantly more famous in 2023.
He said: 'Last year, I became a way more well-known public figure for loads of different reasons. The only reason that I was interested in is kind of, like, what I was doing?'
According to an insider, Matty is now personally "much more settled than he's ever been", with Gabbriette helping to "keep him more grounded".

The couple apparently love playing Fortnite in bed and she loves to cook for him, with them having bonded over their shared love of food.
The insider told The Sun: "The band are in a great place, meaning he can finally devote time to his personal life.
'Like most musicians, Matty has played the field, but Gabbriette is who is wants to settle down with.
'Gabbriette has been able to tame his fire and help keep him more grounded. He absolutely loves that she is at the top of her game and independent.

'She's incredibly busy in her own career, and it means the time they spend together is quality time."
And she's even won the approval of Matty's mum, with whom they spent
Denise, 67, said on Loose Women: 'He's got engaged to Gabriella Bechtel - Gabbriette, she's known as. Black diamond; he had it made for her.
"I couldn't be more thrilled. We couldn't be happier... she is everything that I would want in a daughter-in-law, and so I'm thrilled.'
Gabbriette - who was previously linked to Bob Dylan's model grandson Levi - has made it clear she isn't fazed by catty comments left by Matty's fans on her Instagram page.
She claimed: "I don't give a s***. I think it's hilarious. Go for it. Have fun. People have a lot to say, you don't know me at all."

Matty doesn't have the best track record when it comes to relationships, and himself admitted he's "not very good at them".
The rocker dated
She wrote: 'Your little brother never tells you but he loves you so / You said your mother only smiled on her TV show.'
Speaking about their relationship a year after it ended, she said: "We're both attracted to characters, and we saw that in each other. I spent a lot of time watching him and he spent a lot of time loving being watched.
"But if you think he's the first red-wine-drinking, pretty-boy rocker in skinny jeans I've been associated with, you're out of your f***ing mind.'
He was subsequently linked to FKA Twiggs, but the pair split in 2022 after reportedly dating for three years without ever confirming their relationship publicly.
Matty is also rumoured to have dated models

Even before they hooked up, Matty's fame was bolstered by Taylor wearing The 1975 merchandise and going to one of his concerts back in 2013.
The gig visit has been said to have led to the pair exchanging numbers, and they were briefly said to be romantically liked.
But at the time Matty didn't have many positive things to say about the idea.
In a 2016 interview, when Taylor was dating Calvin Harris, Matty told Q magazine: 'I feel like I'm not very good at relationships.
"And the reason I mention that is because if I had [properly] gone out with Taylor Swift, I would've been, 'F***ing hell, I am not being Taylor Swift's boyfriend.'
"You know, 'F***. That.' That's also a man thing, a de-masculinating, emasculating thing.'
He later clarified his comments after people claimed they were misogynistic for feeling threatened by her stardom.
"Since she came to my show in December of 2014, I would say that 90 per cent of journalists that have interviewed me have asked about either her as a person or what our 'interaction' was like," he wrote in an open letter,
"I have said on countless occasions that I found her to be one of the most gracious, hard working, creatively gifted, and beautiful women that I have had the pleasure to meet.
"I personally have a lot of respect and admiration for her. Why would I not?"

Many of Taylor's exes have ended up being referenced in her songs - and Matty it seems is no exception.
When her latest album
Fans reckoned they spotted multiple references to Matty, including 'I'm runnin' back home to you' from Fresh Out The Slammer, which they took to be a reference to her history with the Chocolate singer.
They claimed there was another cryptic reference in I Can Fix Him (No Really I Can) with the line: 'The jokes that he told across the bar / Were revolting and far too loud.'
Taylor, who is now dating NFL player Travis Kelce, does appear to take aim at him with her track The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived, with the lyrics: "You are what you did / And I'll forget you but I'll never forgive / The smallest man who ever lived."
Arguably Matty has taken a leaf out of his ex's book when it comes to channelling his relationship angst into his music.
Last week The Sun revealed that
Among the lyrics is the line: 'Keep your head up Princess, your tiara is falling."
A music insider said: 'Everyone at the studio thought this was about Matty's fling with Taylor and their fleeting romance.
'Matty will never publicly comment on his relationships, but he lets his deepest feelings out in his songs and gets everything off his chest.
'Fans will want to listen to the lyrics very carefully.'

The insider told The Sun playing Glastonbury is "a huge deal" for the band and "something they've wanted to make happen for years".
'It's even more special for Matty because he will have his fiancée Gabbriette and his parents stage side rooting for him," they added.
'He's always been career-focused and getting the headline spot on a Friday really shows how important The 1975 has become. It's a culmination of decades of hard work.'
And in a bit to make it extra special, The Sun understands Matty plans to bring his actor dad Tim out for a song.
"Tim has come out before at Matty's gigs and it's always a crowd pleaser," a source said.
"They'll be doing a slow song together as part of the set list."
Matty's team has been contacted for comment.

New Meghan allegations are dynamite, they prove she sees Prince Harry as a stepping stone, expert says
BOMBHSELL allegations swirling around Meghan Markle are "dynamite" and "prove she saw Harry as a stepping stone", an expert claimed. Esteemed royal biographer Phil Dampier shared his opinions on 9 The couple wed in St George's Chapel at Windsor Castle in May 2018 Credit: Alamy 9 Sally Bedell Smith claimed Meghan was welcomed in with open arms Credit: Getty 9 Harry, Meghan and the late Queen standing together in 2018 Credit: AP He sat down on the According to "very well respected royal biographer" Bedell Smith, Queen Elizabeth II had shared her alleged doubts over the new Duchess, and feared Harry was "weak". Mr Dampier said the author was extremely close to Lady Elizabeth Anson, who was a confidante and a cousin of the Queen. "And Liza Shockley, as Sally Smith likes to call her, she was speaking to the Queen on a regular basis right up until her death, spoke to her every day, even in lockdown," he continued. Read More Mr Dampier claimed, therefore, this meant information had come "right from the horse's mouth". He also alleged "we can trust this information", which is "very, very telling". In harsh comments, he the expert shared his thoughts: "And to be honest, it confirms what we'd already suspected that you know, that at first the Queen was very keen on Meghan." Mr Dampier further alleged the Queen's reported "doubts" about Meghan "ruined her close relationship with Harry". Most read in Royals Bedell Smith also claimed Meghan was rude to the late Queen for 10 minutes over wedding details. "She remarked that Harry was perhaps a little bit too much in love, was possibly besotted and a bit weak and being manipulated by Meghan," he continued. Sharing his own opinions, Mr Dampier added: "I think, unfortunately, that confirms what I've been saying or thought for the last few years that, sadly, Meghan never really had any intention of staying in the royal family. "She saw as a stepping stone getting married to to Harry to to to new fame and fortune. "And I think that's what initially Prince William was concerned about. And that's why they fell out. And now we are where we are. But to have this confirmed by somebody so close to the Queen is, is is really dynamite." 9 The Royal Family on Buckingham Palace balcony celebrating Trooping The Colour in 2018 Credit: Getty 9 Experts accused Meghan of trying to steal the limelight at Harry's Invictus Games Credit: Alamy 9 Prince William, Princess Kate and the Sussexes met the public after tributes were left to the Queen Credit: Getty Fellow expert, Esther Okraku, echoed these strong opinions and added how there's a "thread of commonality" regarding allegations clouding Meghan. She touched on previous comments made by King Charles that Harry was "whipped". "I think she was welcomed, like much of the country, with open arms," Ms Okraku continued. "I think where things went wrong was clearly the cultural clash. "And I think in some ways Meghan thought she was marrying a billionaire, but was marrying a millionaire, with like sort of a reduced status. So that might have been, not appealing eventually." This comes as for the first time, This week Sally published 'explosive' revelations made to her by one of Her Majesty's closest confidantes, her first cousin once removed, Lady Elizabeth Anson, in several conversations in 2018 and 2019. Lady Elizabeth claimed there were serious concerns in the upper echelons of the Just days before the wedding, she had told Sally: 'We hope but don't quite think [Meghan] is in love. 'We think she engineered it all.' She added: 'It's worrying that so many people are questioning whether Meghan is right for Harry. 'The problem, bless his heart, is that Harry is neither bright nor strong, and she is both." In another exchange, "Meghan could turn into nothing but trouble.' The shock revelations were released this week in The observations by Lady Elizabeth, who died from lung cancer in November 2020 aged 79, show the warning signs were there from the start — and proved well-founded. She said But as their wedding approached, they both caused a stir with their poor behaviour — and blatant disrespect for the Queen. Harry was reportedly 'rude to her for ten minutes' in one meeting and upset her by asking the As a high-society event planner herself, Lady Elizabeth — who was born at She said at the time: 'Harry seems to think the Queen can do what she wants, but she can't. "On the religious side, it is the Dean of Windsor's jurisdiction.' She added that as a result, 'Harry has blown his relationship with his grandmother.' They did later 'patch things up' — but the hurt remained. As for Meghan, allegations of her 'diva-like' behaviour in the run-up to her big day are nothing new. Indeed, at the time, it was rumoured that she had been nicknamed 'Me-gain' by Palace courtiers, thanks to her extensive demands, and among her many complaints, had moaned about the 'musty' smell in the chapel. In 2018 she told Sally that Meghan had rattled the Queen days before the wedding, revealing: 'They had tea with her the day before yesterday. 'She was trying to find out about the wedding dress, and Meghan wouldn't tell her.' This was enough to spark concern in the Palace, with hushed fears brewing that Meghan could 'turn into nothing but trouble' and that — despite royal protocol — 'she sees things in a different way'. As Sally revealed this week: 'I asked her if Meghan was being bossy. 'So I gather,' Lady Elizabeth replied. 'Very much so.'' The biographer continued: 'By late February 2019 when Liza [Lady Elizabeth's nickname] and I spoke on the phone, she said, 'I don't trust Meghan an inch. To begin with, she was not bad — a straightforward starlet, used to public speaking and charity work. 'The wedge between the brothers is really too bad.'' Sadly, the wedge only widened the gap. In January 2020, Harry and Meghan announced they had chosen to 'transition this year in starting to carve out a progressive new role within this institution'. At first, it seemed they wanted to keep one foot in the royal fold, while pursuing financial opportunities on the outside. But after months of negotiations, the Queen and the then Prince Charles laid down the law — they were either fully in or fully out. There was no in-between. The couple opted for the latter and moved to the US later that year, infamously launching a crusade of Palace-bashing and com- plaints against the royals in the aftermath. 9 Meghan, Prince Harry, and Queen Elizabeth II pose for a picture during the Queen's Young Leaders Awards Ceremony on June 26, 2018 at Buckingham Palace Credit: Getty 9 The couple continue to flaunt their relationship online Credit: Instagram 9 They live in a £2million Montecito mansion in California Credit: INSTAGRAM
