Dumped Love Island star says DMs are flooded with celebs after leaving villa

Daily Mirror5 hours ago

Blu Chegini, who was dumped from the Love Island villa this month, says that some famous faces have slid into his DMs since leaving and accuses ITV of not showing his true personality.
Dumped Love Island star Blu Chegini has revealed that his DM's are 'popping' since leaving the famous ITV2 villa, and there's even a few famous names in there.
Talking with Mirror at the TRIC Awards in central London, 26-year-old Blu admitted, "It's been a bit mad since I left the villa, the DMs have been busy though, they're popping." He added, "There's been a few famous ones, but I better not say who."

Despite being in the original line-up of islanders at the beginning of this series, Blu was dumped from the island earlier this month in a brutal recoupling which left him single. Before his departure, he was getting to know girls Alima and Shakira, who remain in the villa.

Since returning home, Blu's Instagram has reached 22K followers - including the likes of former Love Island winners Jess Harding and Gabby Allen and Married At First Sight star Hannah Norburn. He has also signed to Neon Managment, the same PR company who manages stars such as Joey Essex and Lucinda Stratford.
While there may be plenty of single girls hoping to catch London-based Blu's eye back in the UK, the reality star still has eyes for Mallorca.
Admitting the premature departure was disappointing, Blu said he'd like another crack at the famous villa: 'Get me back in there, I'd definitely go back and show my personality more, I didn't get to do that.
"I did show it in the villa but it wasn't aired in the episodes, so I'd like people to get to know me and see what I'm really about. I want ITV to fly me out for Casa Amor.'

Describing his type as Poppy Harrison, who was only on the show for two days as she attempted to turn Remell's head at the Sleepover villa, Blu says the bombshell is exactly who he was waiting to enter the villa for himself.
However, if the Construction Project Manager doesn't make it back to Mallorca before the end of the series, he's hoping for one of his fellow OG islanders to win the series. 'I want Tommy to win, I'm not sure who he'll be partnered with, but I'd like him to win.'
Blu also weighed in on the villa drama after Toni and Emily recently came to blows, admitting he thinks Emily is a 'sweet girl' and doesn't know why there's been a war of words between the pair.

Love Island fans tell Conor to follow Megan out of the villa and 'go home' after he asked her to wait for him after she was voted as the least favourite girl and dumped Love Island fans told Conor to follow Megan home after she was dumped from the island in Friday's episode. After days of back and forth, Megan and Conor finally decided to give it a go and focus on their connection, however, this didn't last long as Megan was brutally dumped from the villa. Conor was shocked and upset as soon as Megan's name was called, and he shed a few tears as he said his goodbyes. Fans have since been left confused as Conor asked Megan to wait for him while he remained in the villa, with many fans telling him to 'go home' if he really does like her. ‌ One fan took to x, formally known as Twitter, and said: 'ffs he cared that much, he didn't go with her', while another asked: 'Why didn't Connor leave w her then??'. A third penned: 'I ain't crying. he could have gone with her', while a fourth added: 'Don't ask her to wait,..leave with her'. ‌ As the episode continued, Conor said he didn't know if he would find another connection like the one he had with Megan, which further confused fans. Conor said: 'I hand on heart do not think that anyone is going to come through that door that I fancy more than Megan… I look at her like a girlfriend on the outside.' This follows after a dramatic week in the villa which saw Remell and Megan brutally dumped after being voted as the least favourite boy and girl. Alima had already called off her connection with Remell after his actions in 'The Sleepover' where he was kissing bombshell Poppy outside of challenges. Alima said she 'was done' even though Remell decided to stay coupled up with her. ‌ Megan on the other hand had just started her connection with Conor which seemed to be going in the right direction before she was sent packing. It was an emotional goodbye for Megan and tears were shed among the girls and boys who she was leaving behind. Before she left, she sat down for a private moment with Conor where he asked her to wait for him, and she told him she would. After leaving the villa, Megan said: 'I'm gutted to have left because I was getting to a really good place with Conor and I'd tied up loose ends with Tommy and Emily. "I would've liked to have left on better terms with Tommy. We were getting there, but that comes with time and I didn't have time on my side. I made best friends there and had an absolute ball.'

Jacqueline Jossa supports Dan Osborne as he launches ambitious new business

EastEnders star Jacqueline Jossa showed her support for The Only Way Is Essex star husband Dan Osborne as he prepared to launch his new tanning salon business venture Jacqueline Jossa has thrown her support behind her husband Dan Osborne as he launched a new business - weeks after fears their marriage was on the rocks. The former EastEnders star, 32, has been married to ex-Towie star Dan, 34, since 2017 and together they are parents to two. Earlier this year it was suggested that Jac and Dan's marriage was on the rocks and headed for calamity. But come April, there were signs the couple were working through their issues and a "make or break" holiday away signaled that they were still together. ‌ Over the weekend, soap star Jacqueline turned up to the launch of her husband's new business venture, showing her support for the enterprise. Dan has created a new tanning salon in Benfleet, Essex, called Paradise. ‌ The couple were spotted there over the weekend - with Jac sporting a t-shirt adorned with the name of the new shop across the back. Dan shared highlights of a launch event while also teasing the official opening day. Sharing photos and video footage on Instagram, he wrote: "Thank you to everyone that came down today for our opening party of @paradiseinbenfleet We will be finally opening Wednesday 2nd July been a long time coming." Jacqueline reacted to the post writing: "Congratulations" alongside an excited emoji. While many other friends and followers reacted to Dan's post to offer further messages of congratulations. Jacqueline and Dan have weathered many storms over the course of their 12 year romance. They met at an awards show in 2013 and began dating soon after. They announced they were expecting their first child together the following year and their daughter, Ella, was born in February 2015. Four months later, in June 2015, the pair revealed they had become engaged. ‌ Dan shared the news with a social media post explaining he got down on one knee during a trip to Greece. He shared at the time: "She said YES!!! I am the luckiest man in the world to be marrying the woman of my dreams." After tying the knot in June 2017, the couple announced they were expecting a second baby together in January 2018. However, in May that year, they suffered their first bump - with reports hinting they had broken up while Jac was still pregnant. ‌ In June 2018, second daughter Mia arrived and in October that year it was revealed they had got back together - only for Dan to endure several claims he had been unfaithful in 2019. Despite repeated remarks their marriage was in trouble, the couple managed to remain close in the years since. But at the beginning of this year, there were reports they had broken up and were putting their family home on the market. Dan and Jacqueline ultimately hit back at the claims, however reports in March claimed Dan had moved out. However, they rekindled their romance in April when they took a "make or break" holiday to Mexico. A fellow holidaymaker told The Sun that they appeared to be getting on well, commenting: "Dan and Jac looked like any normal couple. There were a few Brits at the resort, but no one recognised them and they were left alone to relax and enjoy quality time together."
