Urgent search for missing man, 24, who could be in Edinburgh as concerns grow
An urgent search has been launched for a missing man with links to Edinburgh.
Adam Busby, 24, was reported missing from the Clackmannanshire area on Saturday, May 10, 2025. He is also known to frequent Glasgow city centre, Dumbarton and Kilsyth areas.
The last confirmed sighting of Adam was in the Maryhill area on Friday, May 16, 2025.

The 24-year-old is described as 6ft 2 in height, medium build with dirty brown hair in a skin fade. He was wearing a black top with blue jeans.
He has a scar on the left side of his face.

A police spokesperson said: "We would ask anyone who has seen him, or knows where he might be to get in touch.
"I would also like to appeal to Adam himself to contact family, friends or our officers. Anyone with information about Adam's whereabouts should call Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 0954 of 10 May 2025."

Urgent search launched for missing Scottish teen who vanished while paddle boarding
A search has been launched for a missing man who disappeared while paddle boarding in Loch Ore. Emergency services were called to the country park in Lochgelly at around 5.25pm on Saturday, after receiving reports of concern for a 15-year-old male. Edinburgh police swoop on residential street as 'emergency incident' unfolds
Police Scotland swarmed a residential street in the Lochend area in the east of Edinburgh on Saturday, June 28. A heavy police presence could be seen on Lochend Avenue from around 8:20pm, with around five police vehicles in attendance. The exact nature of the emergency incident is currently unknown. Edinburgh police swarm high street in late-night emergency incident
Police in Edinburgh raced to an incident on Thursday with a huge emergency response in the area. Around 9.30pm on June 26, officers swarmed Portobello High Street and a number of police vehicles were at the scene. Worried locals claim cops were "questioning some men" on the street. "By the looks of the photo, it's literally 30 yards along from the police station on Portobello Road." Police Scotland have been approached for comment.
