Owen Beck wanted for Rangers transfer but there is one condition
The former Dundee defender spent last season on loan at Blackburn Rovers from Liverpool
Rangers are keen to land Owen Beck but it could depend on Ridvan Yilmaz being sold.
The Light Blues have confirmed an interest in the Liverpool left-back.
They have indicated they would be keen on a permanent deal but it would depend on Yilmaz going.
The Turkish defender has been consistently linked to a move back home since he arrived at Ibrox.
The 24-year-old has been trailed by the likes of former club Besiktas and Galatasaray.
Rangers are aware of interest again and could sell this summer if the price is right.
Russell Martin is looking to put his own stamp on the squad and that is why he has already brought in Max Aarons and has targeted Conor Coady.
Beck is another who fits the bill but Rangers also have Jefte and are unlikely to bring in a third left-back.
Beck has previously shown up well in a loan spell at Dundee and was previously a target for Celtic.
He has struggled to break into the Liverpool first-team on a regular basis and has also been out on loan at Blackburn Rovers.
English Championship new boys Wrexham have also been linked with a move for Beck.

Midfield is now the immediate priority for Celtic as they look to beef out Brendan Rodgers' squad Celtic are likely to pivot to strengthening their midfield after sealing a £1.7m deal for Benjamin Nygren – and they're prepared to shatter their transfer record again to do so. It's been a busy summer so far at Parkhead with Nygren joining Kieran Tierney and Ross Doohan in the arrivals lounge and more are expected to follow. We understand a deal for Callum Osmand is close and after that, adding to their midfield ranks is a top priority. Things are light in the middle of the park and, while new No.8 Nygren can venture into a midfield area if he needs to, Brendan Rodgers' quotes after his unveiling suggested his primary role will be that of an attacker. Speaking in a one of Record Sport's transfer Q&As last month, Scott Burns indicated the Hoops had three key positions they wanted to target – one winger and two midfielders. Nygren ticks that first box so now it'll be over to the other two, with depth sought to join Callum McGregor and co in the engine room. McGregor, Reo Hatate and Arne Engels – whose £11m move last summer remains Celtic 's most expensive ever transfer – are the first choice trio in midfield but the lack of depth beyond that is a concern. Only Paulo Bernardo and Luke McCowan offer natural options and at times last season Jeffrey Schlupp and Greg Taylor, neither of whom are now at the club, had to step in. Burns said in May, before a deal for Nygren was over the line: "I think there is every chance that Celtic will break their transfer record. " Brendan Rodgers wants to move forward and make further progress in the Champions League. Celtic will also want to try and continue their dominance domestically after losing the Scottish Cup Final. "The Celtic board know the positions that the manager wants to strengthen and it is up to them to land them. "To take things to the next level will take decent money, to bring in the two midfielders and winger that their manager wants in the first instance." Speaking after Nygren was unveiled holding the No.8 shirt, boss Rodgers hinted he'll be going straight into contention alongside the likes of Nicolas Kuhn and Daizen Maeda in the wide attacking roles – and it's a timely arrival in that position with Jota sidelined with a long-term injury. He said: "We're delighted to have brought Benjamin to Celtic, and we're all looking forward to working with him. He's an exciting, quality player who will add to our attacking options in the squad. 'He's a young player who's already gained plenty of experience at club level, while his impressive performances last season also saw him gain his first caps for Sweden.
