BTS announces spring 2026 comeback with a new album and global tour. All 7 members reunited on Weverse live, thrilling over 7.3 million fans worldwide.
BTS is officially coming back and ARMY couldn't be more excited. On Tuesday, the global K-pop sensation confirmed that the group will return in spring 2026 with a brand-new album and an international tour.
The announcement came during a surprise 30-minute livestream on Weverse featuring all seven members – Jung Kook, V, Jimin, Suga, Jin, J-Hope and RM – together for the first time since September 2022. The broadcast was viewed live by more than 7.3 million fans across the world.
'We'll be releasing a new BTS album in the spring of next year," the group said in their joint statement. 'Starting in July, all seven of us will begin working closely together on new music. Since it will be a group album, it will reflect each member's thoughts and ideas. We're approaching the album with the same mindset we had when we first started."

The members also revealed that recording will begin next month in the United States, and preparations are underway for a massive world tour to follow. 'We're also planning a world tour alongside the new album," they added. 'We'll be visiting fans all around the world, so we hope you're as excited as we are."
BTS last toured with 'Permission to Dance on Stage," which ended nearly four years ago and attracted over 4 million attendees globally. Since then, the group has been on an extended hiatus to pursue solo projects and fulfill mandatory military service in South Korea.
While a report in the Korea Herald earlier this month suggested a March 2026 return, BTS did not confirm a specific release month during the livestream.
The group's last album as a unit was 2022's Proof. In the interim, each member has explored individual artistic journeys. Highlights include Jung Kook's Golden, V's Layover, Jimin's Face and Muse, Suga's D-Day, Jin's Happy and Echo, J-Hope's Jack in the Box, and RM's Indigo and Right Place, Wrong Person.
With their full reunion now on the horizon, BTS' comeback promises to be one of the biggest music events of 2026.
