Jordan Chiles To Play In MLB All-Star Celebrity Softball Game
Olympic gold medalist Jordan Chiles will appear at the 2025 MLB All-Star Celebrity Softball Game, MLB.com announced. Slated for Saturday, July 12, the event benefits the Boys & Girls Clubs of America and runs in conjunction with MLB All-Star Week.
The MLB states that the event 'brings together top names in sports and entertainment for a fun-filled, five-inning exhibition.
Chiles is the third gymnast to 'make the team' in the 24-year-long tradition, joining Olympic teammate Simone Biles and 2008 Olympic gold medalist Shawn Johnson.
In 2019, Biles and 'Team World' defeated 'Team Cleveland' with a final score of 21-16. Johnson and the 'American League' were also victorious in 2009. This Saturday, Chiles and her team look to keep the undefeated streak alive.
Chiles is also one of three Olympians to make the 2025 roster.
The two-time Olympic medalist is joined by USA Softball Olympic gold medalists Jennie Finch and Natasha Watley. Finch has become a staple at the event, with 2025's rendition marking her 15th appearance.

PSV bring in Bundesliga goalkeeping pedigree on loan
PSV have signed goalkeeper Matej Kovar on loan from Bayer Leverkusen. The 25-year-old Czech international arrives in Eindhoven with an option to buy him permanently available next year. Kovar will provide competition from the previously signed Nick Olij. Peter Bosz will decide who will become PSV's new first-choice goalkeeper after Walter Benítez left for Crystal Palace on a free transfer. Advertisement The arrival of Kovar and Olij gives Joël Drommel the opportunity to play elsewhere. He has left PSV's training camp in Germany and will likely join Sparta Rotterdam on loan. Kovar was Bayer Leverkusen's second-choice goalkeeper behind the experienced Lukas Hradecky. However, the Czech made several Champions League appearances last season. Kovar won the 2023-24 championship with the German club and also won the cup that year. Erik ten Hag has been at the helm of Bayer Leverkusen since the summer. He has strengthened the goalkeeping squad with the addition of compatriot Mark Flekken. GBeNeFN | Max Bradfield

Report – €35M-Rated Inter Milan Defender Increasingly Likely To Move To Premier League With Aston Villa Considering Bid Premier League giants Aston Villa are among the leading candidates to sign Inter Milan defender Yann Bisseck. According to Tuttosport via FCInterNews, the British Islands could be the Belgian star's next destination. Advertisement Despite his rise in the pecking order last term, Yann Bisseck could leave San Siro this summer. Indeed, Inter need to offload at least one first-team ace to balance the books. Therefore, the 24-year-old could fall victim to the club's financial strategy. (Photo by) Bisseck joined Inter from Aarhus in the summer of 2023 for a reported fee of €7 million. However, after developing into a senior Serie A star, he could leave the Nerazzurri for profit. Cristian Chivu's men expect to earn around €35 million from Bisseck's sale. Indeed, it may even unlock Inter's pursuit of Parma starlet Giovanni Leoni. Yet, Bisseck's price tag rules out a move to most European clubs. As such, a move to the Premier League appears the most realistic option, with Aston Villa at the head of the queue.
