A FRUSTRATED homeowner has revealed that his neighbour's massive tree is blocking all of his sunlight.
Not only this, but the man's anger has continued to grow, as now the large tree has begun growing into his home.

An angry man has claimed that his neighbour's huge tree is growing into his house and blocking his sunlight

And if you thought that was bad enough, think again, as this anonymous man even claimed that the tree is also home to rats too.
Posting on social media, the man uploaded a snap of his neighbour's overgrown tree, which is towering onto his roof and is extremely close to his window, leaving many open-mouthed.
Writing on the r/GardeningUK thread on Reddit, alongside the post, the user, who shares content under the username @Jacktheforkie, explained: 'Neighbours got a massive tree growing directly against my house.'
Not only this, but he claimed: 'It's blocking my sunlight and the rest of her jungle is host to a fair amount of rats.
'The rats are digging under and jumping over from the weeds.'
And it's not just rats that have emerged, as the man later recognised: 'I certainly get birds, and the grey furry birds with long pink tails.'
Unsure on how to proceed and desperate for advice, he then penned: 'She doesn't want to deal with the mess.
'I never see the neighbour, she used to take pride in the garden but now it's a jungle that requires periodic attack with power tools to fight the weeds back.
'What can I do about it?'
Reddit users were left stunned by the man's post and eagerly raced to the comments to share their thoughts.

One person advised: 'You can complain to the council but I would speak to the neighbour first and offer to pay towards the cost of removal.
'Where I am, the expectation is that neighbours go 50/50 on this kind of work but it's a social convention rather than a legal one.'
Another recommended: 'This is an ash tree. They get huge and aren't suitable for right next to houses. It's probably self-seeded and nobody noticed until it suddenly was too big.

Meanwhile, a third stressed: 'Write them a polite letter, attach them that picture, see what they do. Decency starts with a polite approach.'

The man later responded to the comments and wrote: 'My mum asked and she said she likes it that way, but we are pretty sure she said that because she doesn't want to deal with it.'

Wildlife rescue organisation St Tiggywinkles advises: "To help hedgehogs build up their fat reserves in time for winter, please put out a shallow dish of water and some meaty flavoured tinned cat or dog food in the evenings." Hedgehog Street advises: "Hedgehogs will relish any combination of meat-based wet dog or cat foods, or dry cat/kitten food. "Just remember, they will be getting most of their food from insects and worms in the wild, and this food is only supplementary. Specially made hedgehog food is also widely available. Those resembling pet food with a high meat content are most suitable. "Place in a shallow dish and put in a sheltered area of your garden, or a feeding station (see below), around sunset. Splitting food over several sites may reduce aggression at food bowls. Don't forget to offer water bowls too"

Almost 50 homes at a new build development on Rolleston Drive, near Arnold, Nottingham had to be torn down after the builder didn't finish the job. The builder originally appointed to construct the properties, Ilke Homes, collapsed in leaving the estate half finished. Ilke Homes were appointed to build 131 houses but 43 of them were left partially finished when the firm collapsed. Rows of completed homes now sit next to demolished houses with big, bare plots of land occupying space on the estate. The partially built properties were left, without roofs in some cases, to rot away for nearly 12 months. New work to replace the demolished homes has now started with residents rejoicing at the news. Rajan Rajput, 38, told Nottinghamshire Live: "It's a real shame for the people who are still waiting, some of the people who have moved in now have been waiting years for a good home - I feel very lucky. "But I work from my home, so to look out and see a construction site makes the view horrible at the minute, and I would like to be able to let my kids go out and play without worrying if they're trying to get over there." Some residents are housed in hotels while they wait for their homes to be ready, Rajan was left living in a hotel for months while on the waiting list. He added: "There are people that obviously need these homes, the longer you live in a hotel or somewhere like that the more it takes a toll on your mental health and family. Neighbours vs. New Builds: The Bradford Planning Showdown "It's not just a home, these new homes need to be replaced so people can get their lives back, feel safe, and not have to worry." Jigsaw Homes Midlands, who appointed Ilke Homes before it collapsed has moved residents into the rest of the development. The new buildings need to be replaced so that all the homes on the estate are compliant with the requirements of the NHBC (National House Building Council). Morro Partnerships who took over construction of the site is in the process of building new houses where the old demolished ones once stood. The new properties are expected to be finished by 2026, finally completing the construction of the estate. The estate features 85 affordable houses that will be allocated to families and people on the Gedling Borough Council housing waiting list. Yasmin Akthar, 41, is a mum who had been in temporary housing for three years before moving to Birch Fields. She told Nottingham Live: "I totally understand why they pulled the houses down, it makes no sense to put somebody in a property that's already damaged, knowing that you're going to have long-term health complications. "It will be a building site for a bit longer, but it's just what it is. "We're in, we're okay, we're working around them and they're working around us." The Sun has contacted Morro Partnerships for comment.

Pregnant lady offered train seat by kind commuter is gobsmacked by what follows
One commuter kindly gave up their seat for a pregnant woman - but chaos ensued. Any good-hearted citizen would give up their seat for a visibly pregnant person, and lots of public transport vehicles also have priority seats for those who need them. However, despite these policies, there are still times when things can spiral into chaos. A commuter recently offered their seat to a pregnant lady on a train in London and was horrified by what happened next. The Reddit user recalled how they'd stood up for a pregnant woman got on the London Underground, only for a man to get in the way and "steal" the seat instead, reported The Mirror. They said: 'This morning [I] was heading into London on the Jubilee line from Stanmore. After a few stops I saw a pregnant woman get on and the people in the priority seats just ignored her so I offered her mine. 'As soon as I stood up a man pushed her away and took the seat I had just vacated. It was bad enough seeing people not give up priority seats but then to see that and he just sat there obstinately as I told him it was for a pregnant woman. ' The kind commuter decided to look up the man's workplace as he was wearing a work top. Ironically, they discovered that the man is employed by a company that 'makes products to help people with mobility and health issues". The Reddit rant has garnered more than 600 comments, including from the pregnant woman the post is referring to and her husband. She remarked: 'Firstly, to the kind man who offered your seat, thank you so much for doing the right thing and I think we were both gobsmacked by this other man's behaviour.' She then gave some more information about what happened: 'To clarify the situation, I got on the tube this morning and since I am 8 months pregnant I usually ask for a seat if someone isn't offering it, since I know people can be in their own world or on their phones. 'However, this morning, I didn't have to as this kind man stood up and then this other 2 meter tall, well built man pushed in front of me to grab the seat. 'I said 'excuse me, I think this seat was meant for me' and the kind man said the same thing. He just looked us both in the eye, didn't say anything but remained seated. 'The kind man said 'I can't believe you just took a pregnant woman's seat' but nothing from him, he shortly after pretended to sleep, probably not to face the looks of the rest of the carriage.' The woman added that luckily, she was then offered a priority seat by another commuter but she 'didn't want to kick up more of a fuss'. She worried about what the man who took the seat could do next. She concluded her comment: 'I would have understood if he also had a disability but he had clearly been capable to stand until that point, didn't wear a badge or say anything in his defence.
