Twelve weeks after Min Woo Lee captured his first PGA Tour title in Houston, his sister Minjee Lee delivered a major moment of her own.
On Sunday, the 29-year-old Australian clinched her third career major by winning the 2025 KPMG Women's PGA Championship at Fields Ranch East in Frisco, Texas.
Lee closed with a gritty 2-over 74 in swirling winds and firm conditions, holding off late charges from Auston Kim and Chanettee Wannasaen to finish at 4-under for the week.
Her final round was not flawless. She had five bogeys and just three birdies, but it was enough to make her the first Australian to win this major since Hannah Green in 2019.
The winning moment came with a steady par on the 18th, followed by a quiet fist pump and a champagne shower from fellow Aussies on the green.

While Minjee was making history, her younger brother Min Woo Lee was grinding through a tough week of his own.
The 27-year-old finished T63 at the Travelers Championship after carding a final score of +5.
But that didn't stop him from cheering her on. "Let her cook, come on sis," he posted on Instagram. Following that was her winning post with 4-word message, "3 time Major Champ," reflecting how proud he was.

After her win, he added, "It's nice to be at a major and her game is built for the majors. She's very solid and her mental side is one of the best I've ever seen."
"So mix that in with some good putting and good short game and, yeah, she's going to win. I'm very proud of her".
The Lee siblings are rewriting golf history together. They're only the third brother-sister duo to win professional golf events, joining Cathy and Billy Kratzert and Jackie and Jim Gallagher Jr.
They were already the first to win the same USGA event, Minjee won the U.S. Girls' Junior in 2012, Min Woo the U.S. Boys' Junior in 2016, and the first to represent Australia in Olympic golf.
Now, they're the first to win Tour events in the same six-month span.
A look back at Minjee Lee's winning moment
Minjee's final round was a test of patience and poise. She bogeyed three of her first six holes, but steadied herself with a birdie at the ninth.
A clutch par save at 13 kept her lead intact, and back-to-back birdies on 14 and 15 gave her breathing room.
"I'm mentally fried," she said afterward. "I felt like every day was a grind and I really had to dig deep to do it, but it feels pretty awesome".
With this win, Lee not only pocketed $1.8 million from the record $12 million purse, but also moved one step closer to a career grand slam.
She now owns major titles at the Evian (2021), U.S. Women's Open (2022), and PGA Championship (2025). Only the Chevron and AIG Women's Open remain.

Sauce Gardner opens up on how LeBron James played role in him meeting Ice Spice

LeBron James, even if unintentionally, helped play the role of matchmaker for Sauce Gardner's rumored relationship with rapper Ice Spice, the Jets cornerback told TMZ. Gardner appeared on an April 2024 episode of 'The Shop' — a podcast featuring James — alongside rapper Travis Scott, former NFL wideout Chad Ochocinco and star Mariners outfielder Julio Rodriguez, and Gardner told the outlet he believes that's when the couple met in person for the first time. They seemingly became Instagram official just over one year later in a post shared by Ice Spice with her and Gardner posing in front of a bathroom mirror. AP While Gardner told TMZ that he wasn't 'trying to speak too much on it' when approached in Los Angeles, he did acknowledge that he and the rapper are 'cool' — and proceeded to reveal a bit about their relationship. 'We just be having a good time,' Gardner told the outlet. 'Two young individuals, you know. She from New York. I play in New York. She talented, real talented, when it come to what she do. Same thing for me. Two people that get hated on that's really good at what we do, so we got a lot in common. We cool.' Advertisement 3 LeBron James is pictured at Fanatics Fest on June 21. Getty Images Before Ice Spice's post, the duo had been spotted out in public on different occasions, and Gardner appeared to tease the relationship earlier in April by sharing a photo on Instagram that showed them standing next to a car in New York City. When they attended a Knicks playoff game at the Garden in May, they received a loud ovation from fans in attendance as they watched the Knicks close out their second-round series against the Celtics. Gardner, 24, will enter the 2025 campaign off a rough season and is entering the last year of his rookie deal, but he still attended the Jets' mandatory minicamp instead of holding out, getting fined and attempting to make a contract statement. Bill Kostroun/New York Post 'I just wanted to show my teammates and the coaches how much I'm bought into this,' Gardner told reporters on June 12. 'I want to win. I want to be a part of changing the organization.' He earned consecutive First-Team All-Pro appearances in his first two NFL seasons — as well as winning Defensive Rookie of the Year and securing a pair of Pro Bowl spots — but failed to even make the Pro Bowl last year.

Deion Sanders rehabilitating in weighted vest, promises to return to job soon

Colorado football coach Deion Sanders has been rehabilitating in a weighted vest with the help of his son Deion Jr. as he tries to come back from an unspecified health issue and return to his job in Boulder. Sanders, 57, provided two recent updates on Instagram, including one on Saturday that showed him wearing a weighted vest next to Deion Jr. 'Every little step I take My son @deionsandersjr has been there so we've decided to keep on stepping!' Sanders wrote in the post Saturday. '#CoachPrime coming to a stadium sold out soon.' In another post from June 26, he used his situation to promote an energy drink sponsor in the same vest. '1 step closer Everyday,' he wrote. 'I'm Walking it out! Our Team is working their butts off therefore I've got to match that (fire) they have!' Sanders Sr. has been away from his coaching job since April as he dealt with his health issue at his estate in Texas. He did not attend Colorado's annual youth and high school camps in June even though operating such camps is listed in his Colorado contract as one of his official duties. In May, he was unable to attend the wedding of former Colorado two-way star Travis Hunter in Tennessee. 'He know why we couldn't be there,' Sanders Jr. said on his YouTube channel after Hunter's wedding. Sanders Sr. also canceled a speaking engagement in Florida scheduled for June 8. The timing of his return to campus remains unclear, but he is scheduled to appear at a Big 12 Conference media event in Frisco, Texas on July 9. Wearing weighted vests helps build strength and endurance. They also help stimulate the growth of new bone cells, according to Harvard Medical School. Deion Jr. said in a video posted on YouTube June 21 that his father was 'back active, moving around' and has made progress. Sanders Sr. previously said on social media on June 11 that 'everything is OKAY' and that he would provide a full update upon his return to Colorado. In late May, Sanders Sr. appeared on a podcast with former NFL cornerback Asante Samuel and said that 'what I'm dealing with right now is at a whole 'nother level' but said he's coming back after losing about 14 pounds. Sanders previously battled issues with blood clots in his legs and had to miss a Pac-12 Conference media event in Las Vegas because of it in July 2023. Davis Thompson makes three eagles in just eight holes at Rocket Classic

The skies were clear but lightning figuratively struck twice Saturday at Detroit Golf Club as a second golfer in the 2025 Rocket Classic made three eagles in one round. Atlanta native Davis Thompson, 26, became the second golfer in two days to drop three eagles in a single round at the PGA Tour's Rocket Classic in Detroit during Saturday's action. Before Philip Knowles did it Friday in the second round, the feat had never been accomplished during the previous six years of the Rocket. It had only happened once on the PGA Tour in 2025: Chandler Phillips did it in Round 1 at the Players Championship. Thompson's three eagles were even more rare because all three came on the front nine — in his first eight holes. Thompson, who started the day at 8-under, six shots back of the leaders, had his first eagle on the first hole, where he hit a 303-yard drive. His 80-yard wedge fell in for a deuce on the short par-4. He sank a birdie on the par-5 fourth, bogeyed Nos. 5 and 6, and then made back-to-back eagles on the par-5 seventh and short par-4 eighth. No. 7 has been a popular eagle this week, and Thompson took advantage. A 316-yard drive and 234-yard approach shot gave him a 37-foot putt, which he drained to recover from the bogeys. The 352-yard par-4 eighth hole is guarded by sand traps on each side, and though many players have birdied it, Thompson defeated the hole by simply driving the ball 344 yards to 7 feet. He capitalized with his third eagle of the day to climb to 5 under par on the round and 13-under total. He bogeyed the par-3 ninth to shoot a 4-under 32 on the front. Thompson then bounced back with a birdie on the par-4 No. 10. Thompson moved up 32 spots with his performance on the front nine and inside the top 10 as the leaders teed off.
