"This festival focused on celebrating the amazing contribution of our volunteers, and the staff who support them every day.
"Our volunteers are often supporting people going through the most difficult time in their lives, and at VSS we want to let them know that they are appreciated and valued - not only by the people we support but by the entire organisation."

Ex-Rangers security guard claims club 'aghast' at former Union Bears chief kingpin identity
Our community members are treated to special offers, promotions and adverts from us and our partners. You can check out at any time. More info A former Rangers security man has claimed the club are stunned after ex-Union Bears chief, Ross McGill, was revealed to be a gangland kingpin at the head of a ferocious gangland war. McGill, 31-year-old, has been orchestrating moves from his Dubai base as he his crew became embroiled in a battle with Edinburgh mob boss Mark Richardson. The conflict, which has also involved the Daniel crime clan, was allegedly caused after a half a million cocaine deal went wrong earlier this year, the Record reports. The ex-Light Blues employee said McGill was so well-respected during his time as ultras boss that he enjoyed a privileged status where he "trusted more than staff" and given access to all areas - even restricted zones on match days. The man, who has asked not to be named over fears for his safety, told the Record: "Everyone at Rangers was completely shocked when it was revealed McGill is the man behind this gang war in Edinburgh and Glasgow. Sign up for Edinburgh Live newsletters for more headlines straight to your inbox "We are talking about a guy who was given access to the stadium any time he wanted and was permitted into restricted zones on match days. "He was trusted by the club more than most of the security staff and was respected by the players, managers and directors. "Nobody could have had even the slightest idea about his life of crime. We were led to believe that he ran his own business. "But it did seem strange that he just walked away from the club after being such a central figure for a number of years." McGill joined the Union Bears aged 14 and helped out with setting up displays - but by the time he left in 2021 - he was the group's leader with thousands of ultras under his command. The ex-staff member went on to explain that McGill's relationship with the club was built on his tight grip on his leadership of the group. He continued: "I watched McGill lead the Union Bears and I have insight into his activities inside Ibrox. (Image: Getty Images.) "They fell under his control and was he quick to resolve any incidents that occurred. "Since he left, the relationship between the group club has never been the same. They have been out of control since his departure." An underworld source told the Record McGill began to build a drugs empire after building up connections with other crooks while travelling across Scotland with the Union Bears. However, he was forced to flee the country after thousands of dealers were arrested following the Encrochat messaging service being cracked in 2020, exposing his crimes and leading to a warrant being issued for his arrest. He moved to Malaga and then went on to Dubai, where he built up new connections with global cartel bosses and found himself with access to massive quantities of cocaine. After he was allegedly ripped off by Richardson's crew in the cocaine deal earlier this year, McGill created a fearless new group, Tamo Junto (TMJ), to carry out a series of chilling attacks on his rivals using weapons and firebombs. Underworld contacts told the Record the hood leaned on his experience as Union Bears capo to command control of his violent army. One source said: "McGill is running TMJ in almost exactly the same way he used to run the Union Bears. "He has hundreds of crooks under his and doesn't know most of them personally. "It was the same at the Union Bears, he controlled the group from the top and pulled the strings while barking out orders. "He knows how to command loyalty and organise a large group of footsoldiers and knows how to strike fear into people. "People think he must be backed by someone bigger, but McGill is a lone wolf and used to running his own organisation." Scotland's gang war erupted in March with a series of firebombings as McGill initially went after homes and businesses linked to Edinburgh cocaine kingpin Mark Richardson. The following month the feud moved on to Glasgow as the TMJ gang went after Richardson's associates from the Daniel clan. Tamo Junto have claimed credit for the attacks in a series of unsettling video clips. Following a recent attack at a property in Tranent in East Lothian, McGill's gang boasted they have targeted more than 40 people in a wave of infernos and machete attacks in the past four months. Among the most shocking incidents, Richardson's crony David McMillan was targeted three times by the gang. His house at Pitcairn Grove was torched on April 17 while children were believed to be asleep inside the property. On May 8, thugs targeted the house and set a white SUV vehicle on fire outside the property. Two weeks later McMillan was set upon with machetes by four thugs outside his house but a security guard he had employed came to his rescue. Join Edinburgh Live's Whatsapp Community here and get the latest news sentstraight to your messages. Senior members of the Daniel clan were also targeted, including head of the family Steven 'Bonzo' Daniel. TMJ released footage of a firebombing attack at his home on John Marshall Drive in Bishopbriggs on April 14. His uncle Norman's house at the nearby Colston Road was torched on the same night. A property registered to Bonzo's mum, Annette, was targeted when bulletproof windows were smashed on April 19. The widow of Kevin 'Gerbil' Carroll had her house in Drumchapel Road attacked on May 17. An underworld source told the Record that Kelly 'Bo' Green's youngest child was at home at the time of the incident. TMJ warned that their vendetta against the Daniel and Richardson gangs will continue "for many years to come" despite Police Scotland making 50 arrests so far in their Operation Portaledge probe into the gang war.
