Inside Fiona Phillips and Eamonn Holmes' feud as she shares true feelings
Fiona Phillips spent nine years sitting on the GMTV sofa next to Eamonn Holmes. The veteran presenters worked together on the ITV daytime show from 1996 until 2005 until Eamonn left, saying it was "right to move on".
Praising his co-host, he told Fiona, now 64, he would 'particularly miss their friendship' when he left as Fiona replied: "This is our ninth year together. I will miss him more than words can say." However, behind the scenes, things weren't quite as cordial, with Fiona recently revealing Eamonn, 65, "wasn't the easiest person to work with".
So, as the mum-of-two reflects on her time working with the former This Morning host, here's the lowdown on their rocky relationship, starting with Fiona accusing the GB News host of always hogging the conversation...

Fiona Phillips accuses Eamonn Holmes of 'taking over' in interviews
When Eammon left GMTV, he said: "What a privilege it has been to wake up the nation over the years with stories that affected all our lives. I've covered every type of story imaginable at GMTV and it's the right time to move on."
Fiona joked she had spent more time with the Northern Irishman than her husband, GMTV boss, Martin Frizell, but recently told the Mail it "felt like a new opportunity" for her, having claimed she felt side-lined as his co-host.
Claiming Eamonn "wasn't the easiest person to work with", she told the Mail: "For years, if there was a big interview to be done with a politician, Eamonn would lead the conversation and I was supposed to chip in with a few questions near the end - and I hated that."
Bitter pay dispute
Fiona and Eamonn formed a winning team on the ITV show between 1996 and 2005 and had a legion of loyal fans. However, Fiona claimed she was a "relative pauper" compared to her colleague, who she said was paid "significantly more" than her.
Writing previously in her column for the Daily Mirror, she said that despite being known to millions as 'the Queen of Breakfast Telly ', she was 'a relative pauper in relation to my on-screen King, Eamonn Holmes.'
Claiming Eamonn enjoyed 'perks she wasn't deemed worthy of, she added: 'monetarily I was well adrift of my on-screen partner who also had 'perks' that I clearly wasn't deemed worthy of.'
Eamonn in huge bust-up with Fiona's husband
Eamonn and his ex-wife, Ruth Langsford, were said to have had a huge row after the former couple were asked to present former Scottish First Minister Nicola Sturgeon with a Christmas bauble live on air ahead of the 2019 General Election.
Martin reportedly wanted Eamonn and Ruth to hand over the gift, and in exchange Nicola would give the two a traditional decoration.
However, dad-of-four, Eamonn, wasn't keen on the arrangement and allegedly claimed presenting gifts would break strict impartiality rules for broadcasters in the weeks for the big election.
A source told MailOnline: "Martin exploded, saying he was the editor and he decided what happened on the show.
"He then refused to go to Eamonn's dressing room for the pre-show meeting with the presenters.
"The producer was having to run back and forth between the news room and the dressing room to convey Eamonn's fury to Martin and Martin's fury to Eamonn."

Emmerdale icon's soap future confirmed as major news announced
Emmerdale star Claire King first appeared as the villainous Kim Tate in 1989 and made a full-time comeback nearly 30 years later but has now signed a new contract to stay around even longer on the ITV soap. Claire King has signed a new contract that will keep her on Emmerdale. The actress, 63, made her name starring as the villainous Kim Tate on the ITV soap for a decade between 1989 and 1999 but made a full-time comeback to the programme in 2018, and now it has been confirmed that she will be sticking around in the fictional Yorkshire village for the foreseeable future after impressing bosses. A source told The Sun: "Bosses love Claire and they are delighted that she's going nowhere. Kim Tate is one of the soap all time greats and it's only right that she has a massive storyline." The insider teased that Kim will "stop at nothing to get what she wants" and upcoming scenes will "delve into who Kim is and where she's come from and see her rediscover that grit that" made her the character that viewers know today. In recent weeks, fans have seen evil Dr Crowley attempt to con the Home Farm millionaire out of her money, but Kim worked out his evil schemes. Not only that but she did what Kim Tate does best, and took her revenge. Joe Tate finally confessed to her what had been going on, just as it looked as though he was about to drug her. In fact as viewers watched the scenes unfold, we saw Kim pretend to have been drugged as part of Crowley's plan to steal all her money. Crowley was targeting Joe and blackmailing him over his own dodgy dealings, months on from the fiasco that saw the pair steal Caleb Miligan's kidney. Noah Dingle had also been drugged to see if he was a kidney donor match for Joe, who needed a transplant. Crowley demanded Joe steal money from Kim and get it to him if he wanted him out of the way. So when Kim declined on the made up investment idea, Crowley came up with a sinister plan that would involve Joe drugging his 'grandmother', before Crowley would enter and steal the cash from her account. As this unfolded, Kim was seen laying on the bed unable to move after seemingly being injected with what Crowley had given Joe. As Crowley threatened to harm Kim with his surgical scalpels, demanding the password to her account so he could steal the money, Kim appeared to deteriorate. Crowley leaned in to get a better hearing of the code Kim was saying to him very quietly. But in that moment it became clear that Kim and Joe were faking the entire scenario, and she had not been drugged at all She leapt up and jabbed Crowley with the needle, injecting him with the medication before Joe smirked. He'd told Kim everything and they teamed up to take down Crowley. Even the surgeon's accomplice Shaun was in on it, paid by Kim and Joe to switch sides and help them defeat the doctor. Kim explained how she knew she was being played thanks to Joe, and she did not take being scammed, almost, very lightly. During her early days in the serial, Kim's infamous marriage to Frank Tate (Norman Bowler), and at one point, she faked her own death in an attempt to frame him before leaving him to die of a heart attack. After marrying again and concocting a string of moneymaking scams, she left the village in a helicopter with nearly £200,000 of her stepson Chris' money. In her time away from the soap, Claire appeared on Celebrity Big Brother and as a panellist on Loose Women before joining Coronation Street in 2014, starring as the best friend of Liz McDonald ( Beverley Callard) for a period of three years. The soap veteran recently admitted that she doesn't know if she will still be on-screen in decades to come, but felt "fortunate" to have had the chance to return to her signature role. She said: "I'm not sure I'll still be here in 20 years. It's a nice thought, but I think they would have to wheel me on set.. I've been fortunate to come back to Emmerdale. My return to the show was meant to be a nice little retirement job for me. But because Kim is at the centre of everything, it hasn't really worked out that way."

This Morning's Alison Hammond admits 'I'm numb to it' as she details racist abuse
On Monday's instalment of This Morning, ITV viewers saw Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary detail the latest headlines. This Morning host Alison Hammond opened up about the daily abuse she receives from people online. Her confession comes after the ITV presenter was discussing the latest headlines during Monday's show, alongside her co-star Dermot O'Leary. During their chat, the pair touched on the England Lionesses not taking the knee at the upcoming game this week against Italy. Their decision comes after player Jess Carter has received racist abuse online, resulting in the defender making a statement on social media. The football star informed her followers she's stepping back from social media, leaving the situation for the team to deal with. Sharing their thoughts on the matter, Nick Ferrari said: "The problem is, it's another major football tournament where we're actually not talking about the football, despite the fact that the Lionesses have done so well and let's wish them the best of luck tomorrow in the semis. "We're actually talking again, a bit like the Arsenal lad in the penalties in 2021. We didn't talk about the football; we talked about the racism, and here we are, another big football tournament, and we're doing it again." Alison Phillips highlighted that the media are talking about it because of the scale of the event, although she stated that reality is that for many people of colour, these types of experiences occur day to day. Alison replied:" I'll be honest with you, I get that all the time. You kind of become numb to it now. I have to ignore it all the time. "I've seen loads of comments that are racist towards me, and I literally just ignore. You become numb." Dermot seemed taken aback by Alison's remark as he told his co-star she shouldn't have to deal with that. He questioned what organisation she thinks could change in order to help end this from happening. She replied: "It would be very difficult to police. But, ultimately, I think Nick has made a good point in the fact that my age, the fact that I didn't have social media as a child, really doesn't bother me. "I know these people online are not the people that I love. If my family were saying awful things like that, it would have a massive effect. But, it really doesn't affect me." Dermot replied: "But, they shouldn't be free to say it in the first place." Alison told her co-star that it doesn't impact her when people say negative remarks towards her as she doesn't know who they are personally.
